Joliet freezer, first audit

Hi Dale,

Congrats on opening the Joliet freezer last week. Eight receiving doors at minus 10°F is a lot of door time to log by hand.

In a new building, the first audit tends to turn on two records: how long each door stood open, and the corrective action after each excursion. Dockmere keeps both on the pallet record, so the auditor gets one report.

Worth 20 minutes before your first audit to see how a second building gets set up?

Marcus

The spring dinner question: what broke this summer?

Priya RamanCo-founder & CEODraft in her voice

The question auditors ask most1 in the warehouses we work with: what happened after the excursion?

The sensor already logged 46°F at door 6 at 2:14 on a Tuesday2. The auditor wants the next twenty minutes. Who saw the alert? Where did the pallets go? Who signed off once the product was back under 41°F3?

On most docks that story is split between a sensor dashboard and a clipboard by the door4.

What your auditor means by “population”
Auditor Notes Issue 12 · 8 October 2026

From the audit desk at Intagla

What your auditor means by “population”

Six of you asked us this in the last month. When an auditor asks for the population, they mean every item a control touched in the period: every new hire, every access change, every laptop. They pick their samples from that list, so a missing row becomes a finding.

Samples auditors asked our customers for, Q3
Access changes25
New hires25
Laptops15
Vendor reviews5

The fix is plain. Export the population from the system of record on the day the period closes, and keep it sealed next to the samples.

Two short items

New in Intagla. Population exports now list every item with the time it was sealed.

From Arjun. Our own auditor asked for 25 samples last month. How we picked them, in one post.

A reader asks

“How long should we keep sealed evidence?” Adaeze, Brightkeel. As long as your auditor looks back, and some contracts ask for more. Page 3 of the readiness guide has the table.

Buyers now ask for a SOC 2 report on the first call. If your first audit window opens this quarter, talk to us before it does.

Hi Ray,

I saw Brannock Heating & Air on the Hearthline list. With 22 trucks, one long install on a Tuesday can push the rest of your week.

We will show how Routelamp replans a day when a job runs long, on a board like yours. Twenty minutes at booth 1418, coffee on us.

Your Tuesday, replanned

Hi Ray,

Good to meet you at booth 1418. You said a long install on Tuesday pushed four maintenance visits to Wednesday.

I ran a Tuesday like that through Routelamp on a 22-truck board. Two of the visits moved to techs who finished early, and both stayed on Tuesday.

Want to see the replay? Thursday at 10 or Friday at 2 work on my side.

Nina

Intagla lets auditors check sealed evidence themselves

Oct. 13, 2026. Intagla today launched Auditor View, which lets an auditor open each sealed evidence item and check it without waiting on the customer’s team. In Intagla’s review of 1,240 audits in Q3, 61% of stalled requests were waiting on one screenshot from one person.

“Week three is where audits stall,” said Arjun Mehta, co-founder and CEO of Intagla. “Now the auditor checks the evidence the night it is collected.”

A joint session for teams on one GPU region

Hi Ines,

Congratulations on the Series B. 14 of your customers also route their model calls through Splayline, and they ask us the same thing: why a trace slows down when one region fills.

Would you co-host a 30-minute webinar with us in November? Your traces next to our routing, on one real workload. We build the page and invite both lists.

The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

We prove it works, then we automate it.

About three weeks to the first running process, with nothing for you to build.

  1. Week one

We learn your business up close.

A former CRO works inside your CRM and your numbers, then shows you the first process we would build.

  2. Weeks two and three

Each process that works moves into your app.

Every step is written in plain English, so your team can run it and change it after we step back.

  3. From then on

A person on your team approves what ships.

Each run waits at that step until someone approves it or asks for changes.

Our clients, on the record.
