What is AWS re:Invent?
AWS re:Invent is Amazon Web Services’ yearly conference for cloud and AI, held in Las Vegas. The 2026 edition runs November 30 to December 4, 2026, with badge pickup from Sunday, November 29. The AWS event site lists more than 2,200 sessions, and a full conference pass costs $2,499. Registration is open.
For a B2B SaaS company it is two events in one: a technical conference for the people who build on AWS, and a trade show where AWS Partners meet customers. This page is written for the second group: marketing, sales and partner teams deciding whether to go and how to come back with pipeline.

What is the 2026 schedule?
The re:Invent agenda lists five keynotes, all at The Venetian and streamed online. AWS notes that speaker announcements are still to come, so check the agenda before you build your week around a time slot.

The expo is open for about 25 hours in total across four days. That is your selling window if you exhibit, and Thursday afternoon is shorter than it looks once teams start packing up.
Who should go?
Go if your buyers build on AWS: platform and DevOps engineers, data and machine learning teams, security, and the IT leaders above them. AWS describes the audience as “technical practitioners, security professionals, and business decision-makers across every industry.” It also fits companies that sell through AWS Marketplace or co-sell with AWS, because the AWS partner teams are all in one place for a week.
Skip it, or send one person to meet existing customers, if you sell to marketing, sales, HR or finance teams. A business-buyer event such as Dreamforce puts more of those people in one room. Our list of sales enablement conferences covers events for revenue teams.
How do B2B SaaS teams get pipeline from re:Invent?
re:Invent is spread across six venues on the Strip, and moving between them takes time. Unplanned booth traffic is a weak plan at an event that size. The teams that come home with pipeline book most of their meetings before they fly.
Six weeks out: pick the accounts. List the customers and target accounts likely to send people. Ask your account executives and your AWS partner contacts who is going. Pull a short list, then a long list.
Four weeks out: send the invites. One personal email or LinkedIn message per contact, written about their account, with a specific time and place. A breakfast or a room near The Venetian works better than “stop by booth 1234.”
Two weeks out: lock the calendar. Confirm every meeting with a calendar invite that includes the walking route. Build in travel time between venues.
During the show: log every conversation. Each badge scan or meeting gets a note on what was said, entered the same day, not on the flight home.
The week after: follow up by conversation. Write each follow-up about what that person said, not “great to meet you at re:Invent.” Send it within two business days, while they still remember the conversation.
How many meetings can a team book at re:Invent?
Illustrative, not a benchmark. Stackwell, a fictional database monitoring company and AWS Partner, sends four people: two account executives, one sales engineer and one marketer.
| Input | Number | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Target accounts on the invite list | 150 | From CRM and AWS partner contacts |
| Contacts invited | 300 | Two per account |
| Meetings booked before the show | 30 | Stackwell’s goal, a 10% booking rate on contacts |
| Meetings per AE per expo day | 4 | Tuesday to Thursday |
| AE meeting capacity | 24 | 2 AEs x 4 meetings x 3 days |
| Overflow | 6 | Sales engineer and marketer take the extra meetings, or they move to a breakfast |
Planning the meeting capacity first tells Stackwell when to stop inviting. Going past 24 booked meetings with only two account executives means some buyers meet someone who cannot sell to them.
Should you sponsor or just attend?
Sponsoring buys a booth and the right to buy meeting space. The AWS sponsorship page lists hospitality suites, premium meeting rooms and standard meeting rooms as add-ons, with packages and prices in the sponsorship prospectus. AWS lists Accenture, Datadog, NVIDIA and others as Emerald sponsors this year.
Attending without a booth is cheaper and often enough for a first year: buy passes for the people who will hold meetings, rent a room or a restaurant table nearby, and run the invite campaign above. The pass price is the same either way, since a full pass is required to get in.
How Growigami helps with re:Invent
Our events service covers the parts that decide whether a show pays back: we invite the accounts you want to meet and book times at your booth, design booth graphics and one-pagers in your brand and send them to print on time, and write a follow-up for every badge scan that lands in your CRM. On-site support at the booth is an add-on. For how events fit into the rest of your marketing, see event marketing.

Frequently asked
When is AWS re:Invent 2026?
November 30 to December 4, 2026, in Las Vegas. Badge pickup opens on Sunday, November 29, at Harry Reid International Airport, MGM Grand and The Venetian. The expo runs from the Monday evening welcome reception through Thursday afternoon.
How much does AWS re:Invent 2026 cost?
A full conference pass is $2,499 on the AWS site, read on October 25, 2026. Early bird pricing ended August 25. Buying 10 or more passes in one transaction takes 10% off automatically. There is no expo-only pass: a full conference pass is required to attend. A re:Play guest pass for the Thursday party is $350.
Where is AWS re:Invent held?
Across six venues on the Las Vegas Strip: Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian and Wynn, according to the AWS FAQ. Keynotes and the expo are at The Venetian. The re:Play party is at Allegiant Stadium.
Can I get a refund on a re:Invent pass?
Under the AWS FAQ, cancellations received by October 16, 2026 got a full refund. From October 17 to November 23, 2026 the refund is 50%. After November 23 passes are not refundable. AWS may allow a transfer to another person at its discretion.
Is AWS re:Invent worth it for a B2B SaaS company?
If your buyers are engineers, data teams or IT leaders, or you sell through AWS Marketplace or with AWS Partners, usually yes: the expo alone has 450+ AWS Partners and the program has 2,200+ sessions. If you sell to marketing, HR or finance teams, the ticket buys you very few of your buyers.
How do I book meeting rooms at re:Invent?
Meeting rooms are sold to sponsors. The AWS sponsorship page lists hospitality suites, premium meeting rooms and standard meeting rooms as add-ons, with packages and pricing in the sponsorship prospectus. Teams that do not sponsor usually book space in a nearby hotel or restaurant and invite buyers there.
