Short answer: The main HubSpot CRM alternatives for a B2B SaaS team are Pipedrive, Close, Attio, Zoho CRM, Freshsales and Salesforce. Switch if you pay for HubSpot Professional mainly to get one sales feature and marketing does not run on HubSpot. Stay if marketing and sales share HubSpot’s database, because replacing it means a second system and a sync to maintain.
A note on who is writing this. The pages Google ranked for “hubspot alternatives” in October 2026 were mostly written by vendors that list themselves first: a dialer, a sales AI tool, a social media scheduler. One came from a HubSpot partner that recommends HubSpot. Several quoted 2025 prices. We do not resell any of these CRMs and have no affiliate deals. Every price below was read on the vendor’s own pricing page on October 25, 2026, in US dollars, per seat per month billed annually unless noted.
What are the best HubSpot alternatives?
| CRM | Free plan | Paid plans, billed annually | Sequences or automation from | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot Sales Hub (baseline) | Yes, 2 users | Starter bundle from $7, Professional $90, Enterprise $150, plus $1,500 or $3,500 onboarding on the top two | Professional | Teams where marketing and sales share one database |
| Pipedrive | No, 14-day trial | Lite $14, Growth $39, Premium $59, Ultimate $79 | Growth: automations and sequences | Sales-led teams that want a pipeline sellers will use |
| Close | No, 14-day trial | Solo $9 (1 user), Essentials $35, Growth $99, Scale $139 | Growth: automated workflows, power dialer, bulk email | Inside sales teams that call and email at volume |
| Attio | Yes, up to 3 seats | Plus $35 (up to 10 seats), Pro $79, Enterprise custom | Pro: sequences and call intelligence | Teams that want to shape the data model themselves |
| Zoho CRM | Yes, 3 users | Standard $14, Professional $23, Enterprise $40; Bigin from $7 | Free plan includes workflow automation; Professional adds process management and AI agents | Cost-sensitive teams, and companies already on Zoho apps |
| Freshsales | None on the plan cards; 21-day trial | Growth $9, Pro $39, Enterprise $59 | Pro: sales sequences, contact scoring, territory management | Teams that want sequences at a low per-seat price |
| Salesforce | Free Suite | Starter Suite $25 (billed monthly or annually), Pro Suite $100, Core $195, Advanced $395, Max $550 | Pro Suite: more customization and automation | Companies that need deep customization and have an admin |
Monthly billing costs more on every one of these. On the same day, Pipedrive listed $24, $49, $79 and $99 per seat billed monthly; Close $19, $49, $109 and $149; Attio $44 and $99; Zoho CRM $20, $35 and $50 for Standard, Professional and Enterprise. HubSpot’s own prices are on its sales pricing page; its Starter bundle is $10 billed monthly, and both Starter prices are shown against a struck-through $20, so ask whether the discount holds at renewal.
What would each alternative cost a five-seller team?
One year, five sellers, billed annually, on the plan where each tool first includes sequences or sales automation.
| Five sellers, year one | Plan | Calculation | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot Sales Hub | Professional | 5 x $90 x 12 + $1,500 onboarding | $6,900 |
| Salesforce | Pro Suite | 5 x $100 x 12 | $6,000 |
| Close | Growth | 5 x $99 x 12 | $5,940 |
| Attio | Pro | 5 x $79 x 12 | $4,740 |
| Pipedrive | Growth | 5 x $39 x 12 | $2,340 |
| Freshsales | Pro | 5 x $39 x 12 | $2,340 |
| Zoho CRM | Professional | 5 x $23 x 12 | $1,380 |
These are software prices only. Add-ons, AI credits, calling minutes and the time to migrate are extra. Close, for example, passes calling and SMS usage through at cost, at around $0.02 a minute for most outbound calls, according to its pricing page.
The table shows the gap HubSpot’s Professional tier creates. A team that needs sequences pays $6,900 in year one on HubSpot and $2,340 on Pipedrive or Freshsales. Whether that saving is real depends on what else you use HubSpot for.
When should you switch from HubSpot?
You pay for Professional to get one sales feature. HubSpot sequences need a Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription and an assigned seat, according to HubSpot’s knowledge base. If sequences are the only reason your sellers are on Professional, Pipedrive Growth, Freshsales Pro and Attio Pro all include them for less.
Marketing does not run on HubSpot. If marketing email, forms and ads live in another tool, HubSpot’s main advantage, one database for both teams, does not apply to you.
You have outgrown HubSpot’s model. If your sales process needs complex approvals, custom objects with their own logic, or territory management that HubSpot cannot express, Salesforce is the usual next step. Our HubSpot vs Salesforce entry covers that move. Some teams keep HubSpot for marketing and connect it to Salesforce with the native integration; our guide to the Salesforce HubSpot integration covers what that takes.
When should you stay on HubSpot?
Marketing and sales share the database. Splitting them means a sync between two CRMs. Syncs create duplicate records, conflicting field values and a list of errors someone has to clear every week.
Your workflows carry the business. Count the workflows, sequences, lead scoring rules, forms and reports you have built. Each one has to be rebuilt by hand in the new tool. If the count runs into the dozens, the migration can cost more than a year of seat savings.
You may need fewer paid seats. Sequences need a paid seat for each person who uses them, and HubSpot’s free tools cover up to 2 users. Before you leave, check who needs a paid seat and who only needs to view records.
A messy setup moves with you. A messy pipeline, unused properties and stale owners will follow you to any CRM. Cleaning HubSpot first is cheaper than migrating a mess.
How do the alternatives compare for a B2B SaaS sales team?
Pipedrive is the closest swap for a sales team that uses HubSpot as a pipeline. Growth includes 50 active automations and 5 sequences per company, rising to 150 and 25 on Premium. Our Pipedrive vs HubSpot comparison covers it in full.
Close is built around calling and email in one inbox. Essentials ($35) has built-in calling, SMS and email but no workflows; automated workflows and the power dialer start at Growth ($99). Every Close plan includes Chloe, which Close describes as an AI sales agent; the AI credits and calling it uses are paid by usage.
Attio is a newer CRM with a flexible data model. Plus ($35) caps at 10 seats; sequences and call intelligence are on Pro ($79). It suits teams with someone who will design the objects and views.
Zoho CRM is the lowest priced of the full CRMs here, with a free plan for 3 users and Professional at $23. It fits best when the company already uses other Zoho apps.
Freshsales puts sales sequences, contact scoring and territory management in its Pro plan at $39. Its pricing page lists a 21-day free trial.
Salesforce starts at $25 for Starter Suite. The editions with more customization and automation are Pro Suite at $100 and the Sales Cloud editions from $195 (Core). Plan for an admin to run it.
How do you decide in a week?
- List what you use HubSpot for today: objects, pipelines, workflows, sequences, forms, reports, integrations. Mark each as must-have or nice-to-have.
- Price HubSpot honestly. Check whether everyone on a paid seat needs one.
- Shortlist two alternatives from the table above that include every must-have on the plan you would buy.
- Run both trials with real deals for a week, with two sellers each.
- Count the rebuild: every workflow, sequence and report you would recreate. Put a number of hours on it.

Frequently asked
What is the best alternative to HubSpot CRM?
For a sales-led team, Pipedrive is the closest like-for-like choice: a pipeline CRM with sequences and automation from $39 per seat per month billed annually. Close fits teams that call a lot, Attio fits teams that want a flexible data model, and Salesforce fits companies that need heavy customization. Which is best depends on what you use HubSpot for today.
What is the cheapest HubSpot plan?
HubSpot's free tools cost $0 for up to 2 users. On October 25, 2026, HubSpot's sales pricing page listed its Starter bundle (marketing, sales, service, content and data tools) from $7 per seat per month billed annually, shown against a struck-through list price of $20, and Sales Hub Professional at $90 per seat per month billed annually plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee.
Is there a free alternative to HubSpot CRM?
Yes. Zoho CRM has a free plan for up to 3 users, and Attio has a free plan for up to 3 seats, according to their pricing pages in October 2026. Salesforce lists a Free Suite. Each free plan limits automation and sending, so price the paid plan you will need within a year before you choose.
Which is better, monday CRM or HubSpot?
They come from different starting points. monday CRM grew out of a work management tool and suits teams that already run projects in monday.com. HubSpot is a CRM with marketing, sales and service hubs on one database. If marketing automation matters, HubSpot is the stronger choice. We did not price monday CRM in this guide.
Is HubSpot losing customers to cheaper CRMs?
We found no public data that answers this either way, and vendor articles claiming an exodus are selling the alternative. The pattern we see in published comparisons is narrower: sales-only teams that pay for HubSpot Professional to get sequences or automation compare it with Pipedrive, Close and Freshsales, which include those features at lower per-seat prices.
How hard is it to migrate off HubSpot?
Contacts, companies and deals export as files and import into any of the CRMs here. The hard part is everything built on top: workflows, sequences, lead scoring, forms, reports and the email history attached to records. Count those before you decide, and expect to rebuild them by hand in the new tool.
