Joliet freezer, first audit

Hi Dale,

Congrats on opening the Joliet freezer last week. Eight receiving doors at minus 10°F is a lot of door time to log by hand.

In a new building, the first audit tends to turn on two records: how long each door stood open, and the corrective action after each excursion. Dockmere keeps both on the pallet record, so the auditor gets one report.

Worth 20 minutes before your first audit to see how a second building gets set up?

Marcus

70%

of their time sales reps report spending on non-selling tasks (Salesforce State of Sales, July 2024)

Why it matters

Sales reps report 70% of time not selling

In Salesforce's State of Sales survey of 5,500 sales professionals, published in July 2024, reps said they spend 70% of their time on non-selling tasks, such as admin work and meeting prep. An outsourced sales team buys back some of that time. So does taking the prospecting, the follow-up and the call prep off your sellers' desks.

What you get

What our outsourced sales team work includes

Outbound to 500 accounts

Each contact at 500 target accounts a month gets an email and a LinkedIn message written for them.

Inbound replies drafted

Each inbound lead is researched and scored, then sent to the right seller with a reply drafted, at any hour.

A brief before calls

One page on the account and the people on the call, in the seller's inbox the morning of.

Recaps drafted

A recap email for the buyer and notes in your CRM, drafted for the seller to send.

Stalled deals revisited

We go back to deals that went quiet or were lost, with a new reason to talk.

Sales assets each month

Case studies, battlecards and decks for your sellers, two assets a month, written and designed by our team.

An outsourced sales team is an outside group hired to do defined parts of your sales work, from prospecting and booking meetings to, in some contracts, closing. On Martal’s pricing page on 4 November 2026, its selling tiers ran a 4-month pilot with a flat fee plus a sales commission. Growigami runs the work around the sale from $1,999 a month per process.

Start with one process and have it running in about three weeks. Your CRO, the person who builds and proves each process, sets it up and runs it by hand until it works in your sales motion. AI agents then take over the weekly research and drafting, and your sellers hold every conversation with a buyer.

What does an outsourced sales team do?

Whatever the contract says it does, stage by stage. SalesHive’s guide puts it plainly: the agreement, not the team label, decides who owns each stage. Most of the plans we read stop at the booked meeting. This is how the stages split across the three models:

StageOutsourced SDR teamFull-cycle outsourced salesGrowigami

Martal’s own guide says its most common engagement runs from outbound through appointment setting, with the client’s closers handling discovery, demos and the close, though its Tier 1A outbound plan lists discovery calls led by its own team. SalesHive’s sales outsourcing leaves discovery and the close with your closers. Full-cycle plans exist, and they are priced differently. In the Growigami column, outbound and deal follow-up are two separate processes, each priced on its own.

What does an outsourced sales team cost?

We read the price pages of five firms on 4 November 2026. Three publish a figure, and all three price SDR capacity or meetings. The only full-cycle plans we read, Martal’s Tiers 2 and 3, publish no figure.

Martal’s guide quotes market ranges from $2,500 to $15,000 or more a month for sales as a service, and $175 to $350 per qualified meeting on performance pricing. Those are Martal’s figures for the category, and no firm in the table posts them as its own price.

The in-house comparison is a person. The US median pay for wholesale and manufacturing sales representatives selling technical and scientific products was $104,920 in May 2025, before tools, data and management time.

Why outsource the work around the sale?

Because that is where your sellers’ week goes. Salesforce surveyed 5,500 sales professionals from March to April 2024 for its sixth State of Sales report, published on 25 July 2024. Reps said they spend 70% of their time on non-selling tasks, and Salesforce names admin work and meeting prep as examples. Research, call prep, recaps and CRM notes are that kind of work.

Each of those jobs repeats every week, which is why we run them as processes: AI agents do the research and the drafts, and a person checks them. The conversation itself, where a buyer decides, stays with your seller.

What Growigami runs for teams that close their own deals

Each process runs every week. AI agents do the research and the drafting, and a person checks each draft: our team on outbound, your seller on replies and recaps. Your sellers take every conversation. Your CRO, who builds each process, runs it by hand first until it works in your sales motion.

  • Outbound. AI agents research 500 target accounts a month and draft an email and a LinkedIn message for each contact. Interested replies reach your sellers in Slack the same day.
  • Inbound lead follow-up. Up to 300 inbound leads a month, each researched, scored against your ideal customer and sent to the right seller with a reply drafted. A lead that sits untouched goes back to your team before it goes cold.
  • Deal follow-up. Up to 60 sales calls a month, each with a one-page brief the morning of the call and a recap email and CRM notes drafted after it. Deals that went quiet or were lost get a new reason to talk.
  • Sales assets. Two assets a month. A case study written from a customer interview or a deck counts as one, and two battlecards or one-pagers built from your recorded calls count as one.

The Pipeline module covers the outbound side, and the sales assets service shows the case studies and battlecards. Growigami has worked with 40+ B2B companies. For NaviNurses, a home nursing platform, a new sales team got one defined ideal client to aim at, backed by webinars, content and outbound. It reached full quota in 60 days.

How do you choose an outsourced sales team?

Get the scope in writing before the price. Then ask each firm:

  • Where does your work end? At the booked meeting, the held meeting, the proposal or the signed contract.
  • Who represents us on a call? The firm’s reps or your own sellers. Some firms hand over at a set stage.
  • What counts as a qualified meeting? And who settles a meeting your seller rejects.
  • What do we see before it goes out? The playbook once, or each message.
  • Where do the records live? In your CRM from the start, or in the firm’s tools until you ask.
  • What do we keep if we leave? Contacts, call notes, sequences and the domains they sent from.

What should stay in-house?

The offer, the price and the close. An outside team can find the buyer and prepare the call, but the person who signs needs to trust whoever will deliver after the sale. Keep one internal owner who answers replies within a day and decides what happens to each opportunity.

Our guide to B2B sales covers the stages in more depth, and our comparison of outsourced and in-house SDRs works through the cost of each.

Outsourced sales at Growigami: price and terms

Every price sits in the price builder, which totals any mix of processes before you talk to anyone.

  • Outbound to 500 target accounts a month: $1,999 a month. 1,000 accounts: $1,499 more.
  • Inbound lead follow-up for up to 300 leads a month: $1,999 a month. Up to 600 leads: $1,499 more.
  • Deal follow-up for up to 60 sales calls a month: $1,999 a month. Up to 150 calls: $1,499 more.
  • Two sales assets a month: $1,999 a month. Four assets: $1,499 more.
  • A process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month.
  • A CRO review is optional and extra: $1,499 a month for a monthly review, or $2,999 for a weekly one.
  • The minimum is three months. After that you can leave with 30 days' notice.

Three months of one process cost $5,997, because your first build is on us this month. Within a week of read access to your CRM, we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.

When a full-cycle outsourced sales team fits better

Hire a full-cycle firm if nobody on your team can run discovery and close, because Growigami does not close. Martal’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 plans carry leads through to a signed deal and onboard new clients, for a flat fee plus a commission. Hire an account executive instead if you want that person on your payroll and your culture.

Questions

Common questions about outsourced sales teams

What is an outsourced sales team?

It is an outside group hired to do defined parts of your sales work. Some cover only prospecting and booking meetings, and some also run discovery, negotiate and close. The contract, not the label, decides which stages are theirs. Growigami runs the work around the sale for $1,999 a month per process. Your own sellers hold every conversation.

How much does an outsourced sales team cost?

On the firms' own pages on 4 November 2026, SalesRoads listed $11,950 for four weeks of one SDR. CIENCE listed $2,000 a month for its campaign team and $499 for its platform, before SDRs, a meeting bonus and a setup fee. Martal quotes each plan, and its selling tiers add a commission. Each Growigami process is $1,999 a month, with a minimum of three months.

Can an outsourced sales team close deals?

Some can. Martal's Tier 2 and Tier 3 plans carry leads through the sales cycle until the deal is signed and onboard new clients, for a flat fee plus a sales commission. SalesHive's sales outsourcing leaves discovery and the close with your closers. Growigami does not close: we prepare each call and draft the recap, and your seller runs the conversation.

What is sales as a service?

Martal defines it as handing part or all of your outbound sales function to an outside partner that runs it as a managed service. That can run from prospecting to full-cycle closing. Growigami's version is narrower: one process at a time, run in your own tools, with your sellers on every conversation.

Is it better to outsource sales or hire in-house?

Hire in-house when you need someone to own discovery and the close. The US median pay for sales reps selling technical and scientific products was $104,920 in May 2025, by BLS figures. Outsource the work around the sale when your sellers already close well and run out of time to prospect, follow up and prepare.

Do you guarantee meetings or revenue?

No. What a process produces depends on your market, your offer and your sellers. We commit to the work: 500 accounts researched a month, a reply drafted for each of up to 300 inbound leads, or a brief before each of up to 60 sales calls. Every reply, brief and recap sits in your CRM or inbox.

What do we keep if we leave?

The records. Accounts, contacts and replies land in your CRM, call notes go into your CRM, and sequences send from your own domains through tools you already pay for. After three months you can leave with 30 days' notice.

Start outsourced sales with one process.

Give us read access to your CRM. Within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
