Joliet freezer, first audit

Hi Dale,

Congrats on opening the Joliet freezer last week. Eight receiving doors at minus 10°F is a lot of door time to log by hand.

In a new building, the first audit tends to turn on two records: how long each door stood open, and the corrective action after each excursion. Dockmere keeps both on the pallet record, so the auditor gets one report.

Worth 20 minutes before your first audit to see how a second building gets set up?

Marcus

7%

said outsourced SDRs really worked (SaaStr survey, May 2023)

Why it matters

Few say outsourced SDRs really worked

In a May 2023 SaaStr survey with more than 1,200 responses, 7% said outsourced SDRs had really worked for them. One founder who sold SDR outsourcing for three years watched booked meetings stall after the hand-off. Growigami sends every interested reply to your own seller the same day.

What you get

What our outsourced SDR process includes

Accounts researched weekly

We research 500 of your target accounts a month and find a reason each one would talk now.

A message per contact

Each contact gets their own message by email and LinkedIn, and every follow-up adds something new.

Replies to your sellers

Interested replies reach the right seller or SDR in Slack the same day, with the thread and our research.

Your name, your domains

Our team checks every draft, and nothing sends from your own domains until you approve it.

Optional CRO review

For $1,499 or $2,999 a month more, your CRO reviews the whole system with you monthly or weekly.

How it starts

How outsourced SDR work starts at Growigami

  1. Two colleagues talking across a table in a bright office

    Give us CRM read access

We read your closed deals to learn which accounts buy and who signs.

  2. Two colleagues working through something together at a shared table

    See the first process

Within a week we show the first outbound process we would build and what it would produce.

  3. Three colleagues around a table in a team review

    See the first messages

We build the account list and write each message, and nothing sends until you approve it.

  4. Replies reach your sellers

Outreach runs in about three weeks, and interested replies reach the right seller the same day.

An outsourced SDR is a sales development rep you hire through an outside firm to research prospects, contact them and book meetings for your sellers. On CIENCE’s pricing page on 4 November 2026, one US-based SDR started at $5,999 a month with the firm’s team and platform fees. Growigami runs the research and the writing for $1,999 a month.

Start with one process, with no SDR to recruit or manage. Your CRO builds it and runs it by hand until it produces replies. AI agents then research 500 of your target accounts a month and draft a message for each contact, and our team checks each draft. Replies go to your own sellers the same day.

What do outsourced SDR firms charge?

We read the pricing pages of six SDR firms on 4 November 2026. Three rank on Google’s first page for outsourced SDR, and three appear in the best-of lists that rank there. Half of them publish a price, and every cell below comes from the firm’s own page.

One US SDR at CIENCE starts at $5,999 a month: the $3,500 SDR fee plus $2,000 for the campaign team and $499 for the platform. The setup fee and the held-meeting bonus come on top. SalesRoads charges $11,950 for four weeks of one SDR. Its cost per SDR falls as you add reps.

The best-of lists on the same results page quote other numbers. The Belkins and ZoomInfo lists put SalesRoads at about $9,950 per 4-week cycle, while SalesRoads’ own page showed $11,950 on the day we read it. Budget from the firm’s own page and ask for the quote in writing.

What does an outsourced SDR do?

The same job as an in-house SDR, done by the firm’s people. The Bridge Group’s 2025 study of 351 B2B companies counted a median of 112 SDR activities a day: 44 by phone, 41 by email, 19 on LinkedIn and 8 by text or other channels. Account research and list building sit behind every one of them.

Three people working at desks in a bright office

An outsourced SDR firm takes over the whole job, from the list to the first qualifying conversation. Several put a team around the rep. CIENCE bills $2,000 a month for a campaign team, SalesRoads staffs a client strategist, a coach, an optimization specialist and a research team, and SalesHive pairs each program with a sales strategist.

Is SDR a difficult job?

It is a hard seat to keep filled. In the same Bridge Group study, 60% of SDRs reached quota, the lowest share in the study’s history. Median attrition was 40% a year, and a new SDR took 3.0 months on average to ramp. That churn is the problem outsourced SDR firms sell against.

Our comparison of outsourced and in-house SDRs works through the full cost of each model. The SDR sales guide covers hiring, pay and management if you build the team yourself.

Do outsourced SDRs work?

Few of the people SaaStr asked say they have. Only 7% of respondents to a May 2023 SaaStr survey said outsourced SDRs had really worked for them, and another 26% said they sort of worked. More than 1,200 responses came in, and the post does not say how many respondents had tried one.

Ryan Cooper ran pay-per-performance SDR teams for about three years before he co-founded Set2Close. A Supered profile of him, published in September 2026, describes booked meetings dying in the client’s own follow-up: nobody scheduled the next step or logged what happened. “The problem’s no longer with finding leads,” he said.

So set up the receiving end before you sign. Name the person who answers each reply, the place the notes live and the deadline for the next step. Growigami is built around that hand-off. Interested replies reach the right seller in Slack the same day, with the thread and our research attached, and they land in your CRM.

How do you choose an outsourced SDR firm?

Compare matching scope first: team location, number of SDRs, channels and daily activity. SalesHive gives that advice in its own pricing FAQ. Then put these questions to each firm in writing:

  • What the fee covers. Ask whether it pays for the SDRs alone or also for a strategist, data and tools.
  • How the bonus works. CIENCE adds a bonus to its monthly fee once an SDR reaches 60% of a held-meeting target, so ask who sets the target.
  • What you approve. SalesHive has you approve the playbook and messaging before the first invoice. Ask whether you also see the messages that go out after launch.
  • Who owns the data. Launch Leads says the lists, contacts and call outcomes belong to you. Ask the same about sending domains and call recordings.
  • What counts as qualified. Our B2B appointment setting page sets out the definitions five firms use.
  • How you leave. At SalesHive, month-to-month billing ends at the end of the next billing month after written notice. Martal starts with a pilot of three or four months.

How do you judge an outsourced SDR’s work?

On meetings held and the opportunities they create, measured in your CRM. SalesHive suggests dividing a program’s total cost by the qualified meetings held, then tracking the opportunities those meetings produce. Listen to a sample of calls each week and read the emails that go out under your name.

SDR outsourcing vs an outsourced sales team

An outsourced SDR stops at the booked meeting. An outsourced sales team carries on into demos and sometimes the close. Martal’s plans show the split. Its lead generation plan books discovery calls and demos on a 3-month pilot and a flat monthly fee. Its selling plans add negotiation, closing and onboarding, on a 4-month pilot with a sales commission on top.

Growigami stops earlier than either. We research and write, and your sellers hold every conversation, from the first reply to the signature.

Growigami runs the research and the writing

Growigami fits a team whose sellers or SDRs have time to answer warm replies and none to prospect. We build the account list from your closed deals, so you can start without one. Each week AI agents research every account on it and look for a reason to write now, such as a new head of sales or a funding round. Every contact gets an email and a LinkedIn message written for them, and each follow-up says something the last one did not.

Our team checks each draft, and sequences go out from your own domains. If you already employ SDRs, they take the calls and run the meetings, and replies reach them with our research attached.

Growigami has worked with 40+ B2B companies. For NaviNurses, outbound emails ran alongside webinars and content aimed at one defined client, and its sales team reached full quota in 60 days. The Pipeline module lays out the same process from the account list to the hand-off.

Growigami’s posted price and terms

Every price sits in the price builder, which totals any mix of processes before you talk to anyone.

  • Outbound to 500 target accounts a month costs $1,999 a month.
  • Outbound to 1,000 target accounts a month costs $1,499 more a month.
  • A process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month.
  • A CRO review is optional: $1,499 a month for a monthly review, or $2,999 for a weekly one.
  • The minimum is three months. After that you can leave with 30 days' notice.

Three months of the smaller process cost $5,997, because your first build is on us this month. Within a week of read access to your CRM, we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce. It is running in about three weeks. CIENCE says its setup goes live in less than 14 days, SalesRoads starts calling on the 16th business day and SalesHive typically launches in about three weeks.

When an outsourced SDR firm fits better

Hire an SDR firm if your buyers pick up the phone, because our outreach goes by email and LinkedIn and nobody on our side calls. Hire one as well if nobody on your team can answer a reply within a day, since a firm that books meetings onto your calendar covers that gap. If you would rather pay per meeting, start with the per-appointment firms on our appointment setting page.

Our AI BDR guide explains what AI prospecting software does and where a person still has to check it. For outbound work beyond the SDR seat, including list building and follow-up for named accounts, see our outbound lead generation services.

Questions

Common questions about outsourced SDRs

What is an outsourced SDR?

An outsourced SDR is a sales development rep supplied by an outside firm. The rep researches prospects, contacts them by phone, email and LinkedIn and books meetings for your sellers, while the firm employs and manages them. Growigami covers the research and the email and LinkedIn writing as one process, and your own sellers take the replies.

How much does an outsourced SDR cost?

On the firms' own pages on 4 November 2026, SalesBread charged $3,000 a month plus a setup fee. One US SDR at CIENCE started at $5,999 a month before setup and a meeting bonus. SalesRoads charged $11,950 for one SDR for four weeks. Growigami's outbound process is $1,999 a month for 500 target accounts.

Which outsourced SDR companies are the best?

The best fit depends on the channel your buyers answer and the terms you can accept. Five of the firms we read make calls: SalesRoads, SalesHive, Launch Leads, CIENCE and Martal. SalesBread works LinkedIn and email only. Compare each firm's own pricing page, what you approve before launch and how you leave. Growigami fits teams whose sellers can take replies and who want the research and the writing done for them.

Can Growigami work alongside our own SDRs?

Yes. We build the targeting and write the messages, and your SDRs take the calls and run the meetings. Interested replies reach them the same day with the thread and our research attached. Without SDRs, replies go to whoever sells, such as a founder or an account executive.

Does Growigami make cold calls or book meetings?

No. Our outreach goes by email and LinkedIn, and your sellers book the calls from the replies. An outsourced SDR firm that calls and books for you fits better when your buyers answer the phone more readily than email. It also fits when nobody on your team can answer a reply within a day.

Who writes the messages, a person or AI?

Both. AI agents research each account and draft each message. Our team checks every draft, and you approve every one before it sends. Your CRO builds the account list and the sequences first and runs them by hand. The agents take over once that process has produced real replies.

How long is the contract?

The minimum is three months, then 30 days' notice. Each process is $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. A CRO review is optional and costs extra: $1,499 a month for a monthly review or $2,999 for a weekly one.

Start with one outbound process.

Give us read access to your CRM. Within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
