Short answer: Choose HubSpot if marketing and sales need to share the same records on one platform. Expect to pay $90 per seat a month billed annually for Sales Hub Professional, plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee. Choose Zoho CRM if cost per seat and customization matter most: Professional is $23 per user a month billed annually and Enterprise is $40. For five sellers, Zoho Enterprise costs about a third of HubSpot Professional in year one.
A note on the search results. When we checked Google for “hubspot vs zoho” in October 2026, the top five were a Reddit thread, a comparison page from each vendor, a Forbes Advisor review and a YouTube video. The two vendor pages each pick the tiers that flatter their own product, and the most-linked independent review we read, Zapier’s, was last updated in February 2025 with prices that have since changed. Every price below comes from HubSpot’s pricing page and Zoho’s pricing page, both checked on 30 October 2026. We resell neither product and have no affiliate deal with either.

How much does HubSpot cost compared with Zoho?
HubSpot Sales Hub lists four tiers on its pricing page, checked on 30 October 2026:
- Free: $0, for up to 2 users.
- Starter: $20 per seat a month, with a “starts at” price of $7 per seat shown as a discount for new customers only.
- Professional: $90 per seat a month billed annually, or $100 billed monthly. A one-time Professional Onboarding fee of $1,500 is required.
- Enterprise: $150 per seat a month. A one-time Enterprise Onboarding fee of $3,500 is required.
Each paid tier includes a monthly allowance of HubSpot Credits for its AI agents (500 on Starter, 3,000 on Professional, 5,000 on Enterprise), and extra credits cost $0.010 each.
Zoho CRM lists five editions on its pricing page, checked on the same date, in US dollars per user per month:
- Free: $0, for 3 users.
- Standard: $14 billed annually, $20 billed monthly.
- Professional: $23 billed annually, $35 billed monthly.
- Enterprise: $40 billed annually, $50 billed monthly.
- Ultimate: $52 billed annually, $65 billed monthly.
For five sellers, one year, using only the published prices:
| Five sellers, year one | HubSpot Starter | HubSpot Professional | HubSpot Enterprise | Zoho Professional | Zoho Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seats | 5 x $20 x 12 = $1,200 | 5 x $90 x 12 = $5,400 | 5 x $150 x 12 = $9,000 | 5 x $23 x 12 = $1,380 | 5 x $40 x 12 = $2,400 |
| Required onboarding | None listed | $1,500 | $3,500 | None listed | None listed |
| Year one total | $1,200 | $6,900 | $12,500 | $1,380 | $2,400 |
HubSpot Starter uses the $20 list price; the new-customer discount would lower it. Zoho prices are billed annually. Taxes, add-ons and implementation help are not included for either.
The gap is real, and it grows with headcount. It narrows when you count what each team would otherwise buy. A HubSpot customer that already pays for Marketing Hub gets one database for campaigns and deals. A Zoho customer that needs the same marketing features buys them from Zoho’s suite or from another vendor, and then has to keep two systems in sync.
Which is better for a B2B SaaS team?
The CRM matters less than what it is connected to. For a B2B SaaS company, four questions decide it.
1. Where does marketing run? If your marketing automation, forms and email already run on HubSpot, keeping sales there gives you lead source, campaign and deal on one record. That is what makes reports like “pipeline by first landing page” possible without a data project. Our guide to SEO for lead generation shows why that report matters.
2. How complex is your sales process? Zoho lets you customize more at every tier and includes features like CPQ and multiple pipelines in editions that cost a fraction of HubSpot’s. A team with territories, approval steps and custom objects gets a lot of CRM for the money. HubSpot puts more of that behind Professional and Enterprise.
3. What has to connect to it? List the tools around your CRM: product analytics, billing, the sequencer, enrichment, the routing tool, the data warehouse. Check each tool’s integration list for both CRMs. Some B2B sales and marketing tools connect natively to HubSpot and Salesforce but not to Zoho, so confirm support for every tool you rely on.
4. Who will maintain it? Either CRM degrades without an owner. Duplicates, missing fields and broken routing are the same problems in both. Our entry on CRM hygiene covers the routine that keeps one usable.
How do the AI features compare?
Both vendors now sell AI that does work rather than only summarizing it.
HubSpot describes Customer, Prospecting and Data agents that run on HubSpot Credits. Each paid tier includes a monthly credit allowance, so the cost of heavy AI use is visible on the pricing page.
Zoho lists AI agents and predictive intelligence from its Professional edition, and Zia’s insights, predictions and recommendations on Enterprise, according to its pricing page. Zoho’s own HubSpot comparison says customer data is not used to train its models.
Neither vendor publishes an independent test of how well its agents perform. Judge them in a trial with your own records: ask each one to research ten accounts from your pipeline and compare the output with what your sellers know.
Where is each one stronger?
HubSpot is stronger when:
- Marketing and sales should work from the same contacts, companies and deals.
- You want a CRM that new hires and agencies already know.
- The tools around your CRM list HubSpot as a native integration and not Zoho.
- You plan to add lead rotation and routing workflows, which HubSpot includes on Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise, as our lead routing software comparison explains.
Zoho CRM is stronger when:
- Cost per seat decides it, and the sales team is growing.
- You need customization (modules, fields, processes) without paying for a top tier.
- You already use other Zoho apps, such as Zoho Books or Zoho Desk.
- You want a vendor that, per its About page, has never taken outside investment and does not show ads inside its products.
Should you switch from one to the other?
Only for a reason you can put a number on, such as the seat cost at your next hiring plan, or a report you cannot build today. A CRM migration moves records, associations, workflows, forms, sequences and every integration, and reps lose time learning the new tool. Both vendors offer migration help, and Zoho advertises a switch offer on its HubSpot comparison page; read the terms before you count on it.
If you are choosing between more than these two, our HubSpot vs Salesforce entry covers the enterprise option, our Pipedrive vs HubSpot comparison covers the sales-only option, and our list of HubSpot alternatives covers the rest. Where Growigami fits
We do not resell either CRM. Our CRM and routing service works in HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoho: we clean your CRM once, then keep it clean every week, keep routing and lead scoring current as territories change, and fix a broken form or sync within one business day. Our pipeline and forecast service then reports pipeline by source every Monday, from whichever CRM you use.
Frequently asked
Is HubSpot better than Zoho?
For different teams. HubSpot is easier to start with and keeps marketing and sales on the same records, which matters if you want to see which campaigns produce pipeline. Zoho CRM costs much less per user and lets you customize more at every tier. A B2B SaaS company whose marketing runs on HubSpot usually keeps sales there too; a sales-led team watching cost per seat often gets more for the money from Zoho.
How much do HubSpot and Zoho CRM cost?
From their pricing pages on 30 October 2026: HubSpot Sales Hub has a free plan for up to 2 users, Starter listed at $20 per seat a month (with a lower 'starts at' price for new customers), Professional at $90 per seat a month billed annually ($100 monthly) plus $1,500 onboarding, and Enterprise at $150 per seat a month plus $3,500 onboarding. Zoho CRM has a free edition for 3 users, then Standard at $14, Professional at $23, Enterprise at $40 and Ultimate at $52 per user a month billed annually ($20, $35, $50 and $65 billed monthly).
Who is Zoho's biggest competitor?
In CRM, Salesforce and HubSpot. Zoho publishes comparison pages against both on its own site. Salesforce competes for larger companies with complex processes; HubSpot competes for small and mid-sized companies that want marketing and sales in one platform.
Who is HubSpot's biggest competitor?
Salesforce, for companies that need deep customization and enterprise controls. For smaller B2B teams, HubSpot also competes with Zoho CRM on price and with Pipedrive on simplicity for sales-only teams.
Is Zoho Indian or Chinese?
Indian. Zoho Corporation is headquartered in Chennai, India. It started in 1996 as AdventNet, is privately held, and says on its About page that it has never taken money from investors and does not show ads inside its products, including the free editions.
What are the downsides of Zoho CRM?
The ones that come up most for B2B teams: the interface takes longer to learn than HubSpot's, several features are paid extras (Zoho's own HubSpot comparison marks CPQ, Journey Builder and Campaigns with an extra cost sign), and some B2B sales and marketing tools connect natively to HubSpot and Salesforce but not to Zoho. Check that the tools you already use connect before you switch.
