US searches a month for 'lawn care near me' (Ahrefs, Nov 2026)

Why it matters

123,000 monthly searches for lawn care nearby

Ahrefs estimates 123,000 US searches a month for 'lawn care near me' and 90,000 for 'landscapers near me' (November 2026). Design work draws far fewer: Ahrefs puts the near-me search for design at about 14,000 a month. A mowing route and a patio install begin with different searches, so each needs its own page.

What you get

A landscaping marketing company runs the search pages, ads, Google Business Profile and estimate follow-up that bring a lawn care or landscaping business new clients. In LocaliQ’s 2025 benchmarks, a landscaping search ad lead cost a median $117.92, and landscaping drew the lowest click-through rate of 16 home service categories. At Growigami your CRO builds each process and we run it weekly, from $1,999 a month.

What does a landscaping marketing company do?

The five first-page results we read all sell websites, SEO and Google Ads, and most add social media and Google Business Profile work. Built-Right Digital’s guide says landscaping SEO and landscaping marketing get used interchangeably, then separates them. Landscaping SEO is one channel. Landscaping marketing is “the whole system,” with paid ads, Local Services Ads, email and reviews working together.

Several of them also deal with the mix of work inside one company. Risely writes that someone searching for weekly lawn mowing “has a different need from someone planning a complete backyard redesign,” and it separates those searches onto different pages. Built-Right Digital and Thrive post prices on their sites. Evergrow, Built-Right Digital and Thrive (for SEO) say they work month to month, which is shorter than our minimum of three months.

What Growigami runs for a landscaping company

Each week, AI agents draft your service pages, your ads, a reply to each estimate request and the follow-up on each open proposal. Your CRO, a senior lead who has run sales and marketing teams, builds each process with you first and proves it works before the weekly work starts. Your crews still do the work, and you still walk the property and price the job. You read what each process produced in your CRM.

You can start with any one of these, each priced on its own:

  • Search (Search): pages built to rank on Google and get cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity, written from what you already tell clients on site. For a landscaper, that means pages on lawn care programs, patios, retaining walls and drainage in each town you serve. The base size publishes 200 pages a month.
  • Paid ads (Paid and creative): Google and Meta campaigns on up to $25,000 a month in ad spend, with up to two new landing pages a month. It also runs your Google Local Services Ads and your Business Profile work. AI agents draft the ads, and each week we move spend to the campaigns that book calls.
  • Inbound lead follow-up: each estimate request, up to 300 a month, is researched and sent to the right person with a reply drafted, at any hour. A request nobody has touched goes back to your office before it goes cold.
  • Deal follow-up: before each sales call, such as a design consultation, you get a one-page brief. After it, a recap is drafted for you to send. Proposals that went quiet or were lost get a new reason to talk. The base size covers up to 60 sales calls a month.
  • Nurture and newsletter: a monthly newsletter to your list of past and current clients, with one useful idea and one reason to get in touch. Up to five email journeys follow up with new leads, one for each way people reach you.
  • Outbound (Pipeline): for commercial maintenance, 500 target accounts researched a month, such as property management firms, facility managers and builders, with a message written for each contact.

How do landscapers get more clients?

They show up for each service in each town they serve, then answer every estimate request fast. Risely’s FAQ lists the parts of a strong plan: the Google Business Profile, local SEO, service pages, reviews, Google Ads, social media and project photos. It adds that the right mix depends on whether your priority is maintenance, installs or commercial work.

Google says local results rank mainly on “relevance, distance, and popularity,” and that no one can pay for a better local ranking. More reviews and positive ratings can help, according to the same page.

How to sell more design-build and hardscape work

Give the bigger jobs their own pages and their own campaigns. Ahrefs puts “lawn care near me” at 123,000 US searches a month and “lawn mowing service near me” at 38,000, while the near-me search for design draws about 14,000. Risely says there is little value in ranking for mowing if your crews focus on design-build projects. Our Search process writes pages for patios, walls and outdoor living in your towns, and our Deal follow-up process works the proposals after each consultation.

How to get commercial landscaping contracts

Risely’s FAQ names the commercial buyers: property managers, facility managers, builders, developers and homeowners’ associations. Most of these work for firms you can list by name in advance, which suits outbound. Our Outbound process researches the accounts on your list each week, such as property management firms and builders, and finds a reason each one would talk now. It writes a message for each contact for you to send, and replies reach you the same day.

How to keep leads coming in the off-season

Plan before the season turns. Risely says SEO work should begin before the season in which you want stronger visibility. Built-Right Digital describes the goal as filling the schedule in peak months while keeping leads flowing in the off-season. Our Search process publishes pages on a schedule all year. Our Nurture process sends your past clients a newsletter every month, so they hear from you before spring.

Is social media worth it for landscapers?

Built-Right Digital’s FAQ says homeowners usually search Google when they need landscaping work now, while Instagram and Facebook show off project photos before a quote. Our Paid process runs Meta ads to homeowners in your service area, each with a landing page. Organic posting on your own pages stays with your team.

What do landscaping leads cost?

LocaliQ’s 2025 benchmarks cover 3,211 US search ad campaigns run by home service businesses from April 1, 2024 to March 21, 2025. LocaliQ reports medians.

Search ads, medianLandscapingGeneral contractorsAll home services
Cost per lead$117.92$165.67$90.92
Cost per click$8.76$5.31$7.85
Conversion rate6.42%2.61%7.33%
Click-through rate4.69%6.48%6.37%

Landscaping had the lowest click-through rate of the 16 categories. Its cost per lead sat about $27 above the home services median. Across home services, cost per lead rose for 69% of businesses, by 10.51% on average from the year before.

Landscaping PPC and agency prices

Ads management is a fee on top of the clicks. Built-Right Digital’s guide says PPC management is often 10 to 20% of ad spend, charged on top. By that range, $20,000 a month in ad spend carries a management fee of $2,000 to $4,000. Built-Right Digital’s own pricing page takes no percentage: Google Ads management alone is $999 a month, and its full-service plans run from just under $1,500 to just under $5,000 a month, plus a custom plan.

Growigami’s Paid process is a flat $1,999 a month for Google and Meta up to $25,000 in ad spend, landing pages included. A 20% fee passes that flat price at about $10,000 a month in ad spend, and a 10% fee at about $20,000. Below those levels a percentage fee costs less. Each process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. Search plus Paid ads comes to $3,998 a month after the first. Ad spend is paid at cost, and the full list is on our price list.

How long does landscaping SEO take?

Built-Right Digital’s FAQ says most landscaping companies see better visibility and lead flow within three to six months, and that paid ads can bring leads sooner. At Growigami the first process is usually running about three weeks after you share CRM access, and new pages still need months to rank. Starting in winter puts the pages in place before spring.

What 1,403 homeowner pages did for SquareDash

SquareDash gives homeowners a firm roof replacement price from a satellite measurement. Its buyer is a homeowner pricing a big job at home, the same kind of buyer who asks for a patio quote. Its rebuilt site went live on April 15, 2026 with 1,403 pages built around how homeowners search, such as cost by city. Its estimated search visits grew more than 100x in five months (SquareDash story). SquareDash is not a landscaping company, and the result is search traffic.

When a landscaping marketing specialist fits better

Another firm is the better buy in these cases:

  • You want to spend less than $1,999 a month. Built-Right Digital’s Essentials plan is just under $1,500 a month.
  • You want a month-to-month term. Evergrow and Built-Right Digital both say they work month to month.
  • You only want Google Ads run, on a small budget. Built-Right Digital lists Google Ads management alone at $999 a month, and a 10 to 20% fee on a small budget costs less than our flat price.
  • You are in the SiteOne Partners Program. Lawnline Marketing offers SiteOne Partners 10% off all its marketing services for a year.
  • You want to pay per lead. Built-Right Digital’s list describes Service Direct as a pay-per-lead network with no monthly retainer.
  • You want a website fast and nothing else. Built-Right Digital’s list describes Contractor Gorilla as project-based website work.

Growigami fits when you want pages, ads and follow-up on every estimate and proposal run for you each week at a posted price. Our pages for roofing companies, general contractors and pest control companies cover the same model for those trades.

Questions

Common questions about landscaping marketing companies

How much does a landscaping marketing company cost?

At Growigami each process starts at $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. Ad spend is paid at cost. Built-Right Digital's pricing page lists full-service plans from just under $1,500 to just under $5,000 a month, plus a custom plan. Its guide says foundational local SEO commonly starts around $1,500 to $3,000 a month.

Are Google Ads worth it for landscapers?

They can be, when each campaign targets a service you want and a town you serve. In LocaliQ's 2025 benchmarks, landscaping search ads cost a median $8.76 a click and $117.92 a lead, with the lowest click-through rate of 16 home service categories. Our Paid process sends each campaign to a page about that service and moves spend each week to the campaigns that book calls.

Should every landscaping service have its own page?

Yes, for each service you want to sell. Someone searching for weekly mowing and someone planning a patio want different answers. Our Search process writes a page for each service in each town you serve, built to rank on Google and get cited by ChatGPT. The base size publishes 200 pages a month.

Do you guarantee landscaping leads?

Growigami does not promise a lead count. Each process has a scope you can check, such as pages published and estimate requests followed up. You read what it produced in your CRM. If the numbers do not justify the price, you can leave with 30 days' notice after the first three months.

How much of my time does landscaping marketing take?

Most of it goes into the setup, so start before the busy season. You give us read access to your CRM, and your CRO builds the first process with you, usually in about three weeks. After that, we do the weekly work and you read what it produced in your CRM. You can see any ad or page before it runs.

How long is the contract?

The minimum is three months, and after that you can leave with 30 days' notice. Some specialists ask for less: Evergrow and Built-Right Digital say they work month to month, and Thrive offers month-to-month SEO contracts. Ask any landscaping marketing company for its term in writing, including what happens in winter.

Do you build landscaping websites?

Yes, as a one-time project priced apart from the monthly processes. The website is $7,499, paid in full or over 12 months. It takes about four weeks, and moving your old content over is included. Landing pages for your ads come with the Paid process, up to two new pages a month.
