The spring dinner question: what broke this summer?
Priya RamanCo-founder & CEODraft in her voice
The question auditors ask most1 in the warehouses we work with: what happened after the excursion?
The sensor already logged 46°F at door 6 at 2:14 on a Tuesday2. The auditor wants the next twenty minutes. Who saw the alert? Where did the pallets go? Who signed off once the product was back under 41°F3?
On most docks that story is split between a sensor dashboard and a clipboard by the door4.

$0.70
Why it matters
The 2026 Kitces advisor marketing study counted direct spending and the value of advisor and staff time. The typical practice spent $0.70 for each $1 of new annual client revenue. Online listings, referrals and SEO had the lowest costs per dollar, and social media had the highest of any tactic, at $4.88.
What you get
Pages on the questions people ask before they hire an advisor, built to rank on Google and be cited by ChatGPT.
Three posts a week for each advisor on the plan, written from short calls and voice notes.
Up to five email journeys and a monthly newsletter, written for the clients and prospects on your list.
Google and Meta campaigns, with Meta ads in its financial products category, as Meta requires for US audiences.
Each draft waits for your CCO or supervising principal, who approves it before it goes out.
Each process starts at $1,999 a month. After three months, you can leave with 30 days' notice.
How it starts
You give us read access to your prospect records and lead sources.
Within a week we show you the first process and what it would produce.
Your CRO builds it with your team, and it usually runs within about three weeks.
Drafts go to your CCO or principal, and approved pieces go out on schedule.

Snappy Kraken figures come from its own pricing page. The advisor marketing firm column is Select Advisors Institute's guide for small firms, dated 5 November 2025. Both read on 4 November 2026. None of the three advisor agencies in the first-page results we read (Indigo, The Balance Agency and Web Tonic) posts a price.

Financial advisor marketing services are the work an advisory firm buys to reach new clients beyond referrals: search pages, LinkedIn, email and ads, under the advertising rules that apply to the firm. In Kitces’ 2026 study, the typical practice spent $0.70 for each $1 of new annual client revenue. Growigami runs each channel as a process from $1,999 a month, approved by your CCO.
They cover the channels an advisory firm uses to reach households outside its referral network. The five first-page results we read describe much the same set:
Web Tonic’s 2026 roundup of advisor marketing agencies for Washington, DC is titled “Compliance First”. It tells advisors to settle who signs off on compliance when they agree how to work with an agency. None of the five results says who approves each piece before it goes out.
Kitces Research’s 2026 marketing study asked advisors about 26 tactics. It measured what each cost for $1 of new annual client revenue, counting direct spending and the value of advisor and staff time. The rows below come from the report’s Figure 4.1, and SmartAsset published most of the same figures on 16 October 2026.
| Channel | Cost per $1 of new annual revenue |
|---|---|
| Online advisor listings | $0.28 |
| Client referrals | $0.34 |
| Search engine optimization | $0.45 |
| Third-party review sites | $0.67 |
| Sponsorships and paid advertising | $1.31 |
| Blogging | $1.64 |
| Seminars | $1.76 |
| Answer engine optimization | $3.45 |
| Newsletter | $4.14 |
| Social media | $4.88 |
Kitces marks review sites, answer engine optimization, newsletters and social media as resting on 5 to 9 responses for at least one figure. Referrals remain the largest source of clients. Cerulli’s U.S. Advisor Metrics 2025 report, released in February 2026, credits referrals from clients, friends and family with 54.2% of advisors’ new clients, and centers of influence such as CPAs and attorneys with 13.9%.
Advisor SEO gets the firm’s own pages in front of people searching for help with a money decision. Examples are rolling over a 401(k) or planning for retirement in your city. Our Search process runs it every week.
We pick topics from search data and from the questions your advisors hear in first meetings. An advisor answers a few questions on a short call. AI agents draft the pages, our team checks each draft for facts, and a page goes live only after your CCO approves it. On Friday we check rankings and AI citations; the base size is 200 pages a month and the larger size 500.
On 4 November 2026 we read the first-page results for this search, Snappy Kraken’s pricing page and Select Advisors Institute’s guide. The three advisor agencies among the first-page results (Indigo, The Balance Agency and Web Tonic) publish no rates. Web Tonic’s roundup says none of the nine other agencies it lists publishes a rate, though its own entry for WealthSites gives hosting and upkeep after launch from $279 a month.

The rules depend on how you are registered, with the SEC, a state or FINRA through a broker-dealer. Your CCO or compliance counsel decides what your firm can say, and none of this is legal or compliance advice. Here is what each rule says:
Growigami drafts every page, post, newsletter and ad. Your CCO or supervising principal approves each one before it goes out, and our team checks each draft for facts before it reaches them. We hold no compliance certification, and your firm keeps its own books and records.
Each week, AI agents draft new pages, posts and emails from your advisors’ answers, and our team checks each draft for facts. Your CRO, a growth lead who has run sales and marketing teams, builds each process with your team and proves it works before the agents run it. An advisor takes a short call each week, and your CCO approves what goes out.
You start with one process:
A review with your CRO is optional, at $1,499 a month for monthly sessions or $2,999 for weekly ones. For B2B fintech companies, see our page on fintech SEO.
CapOut turns insurance estimate PDFs into Xactimate files for roofing and restoration contractors. Weekly workshops with its CEO turned his product knowledge into pages, alongside HARO replies, directory listings and a backlink plan. Its estimated search visits grew more than 10x after the new pages went live (CapOut story).
For an advisory firm, the expert is the advisor and the weekly call replaces the workshop. CapOut sells software, and its result says nothing about clients or assets for your firm. The same model is described for law firm marketing and dental marketing.

Questions
They cover the work an advisory firm uses to reach new clients beyond referrals: the website, search pages, LinkedIn, email newsletters, seminars, webinars and paid ads. At Growigami your CRO builds search, LinkedIn, the newsletter or ads as processes. AI agents do the weekly drafting, and your CCO approves each piece.
AssetMark's guide puts the average at about $17.4k a year in 2022, with RIAs over $27k. Kitces' 2026 study measures it another way: $0.70 for each $1 of new annual client revenue, counting the advisor's time. A Growigami process starts at $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month.
By cost per dollar of new revenue, online advisor listings came lowest in Kitces' 2026 study, at $0.28, then client referrals at $0.34 and SEO at $0.45. Social media cost the most, at $4.88. Referrals still bring the most clients: Cerulli's U.S. Advisor Metrics 2025 report credits referrals from clients, friends and family with 54.2% of advisors' new clients.
The SEC Marketing Rule covers advisers registered, or required to be registered, with the SEC. It lets an advertisement include a testimonial or endorsement only if the adviser meets its conditions on required disclosures, adviser oversight and paying ineligible people (17 CFR 275.206(4)-1(b)). A FINRA member firm's communications fall under FINRA Rule 2210. Your CCO decides whether any testimonial runs.
Rule 2210 says an appropriately qualified registered principal of a member firm must approve each retail communication before the earlier of its use or filing with FINRA, with limited exceptions. In a firm's first year of membership, the rule also requires filing retail communications used in electronic or other public media at least 10 business days before first use. Growigami sends each draft to the principal you name.
In Kitces' 2026 study, SEO cost $0.45 per $1 of new annual revenue, the third lowest of the tactics with a reported figure. We make no ranking promise. Within a week of read access we show you the first process we would build, and it usually runs within about three weeks. Pages then publish weekly after your CCO approves them.
No. New clients depend on your market, your minimums, your fees and how quickly you follow up. We commit to the work and a posted price: pages, posts and newsletters drafted for approval, and campaigns run. If the numbers do not justify the price, you can leave with 30 days' notice after the first three months.
No. We draft marketing and send it to the person you name for approval. Your firm keeps its own records: Rule 204-2(a)(11) requires an SEC-registered adviser to keep a copy of each advertisement it disseminates. Your CCO or principal decides what can be said and approves each piece.
Give us read access to your CRM. Within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
