The reading is the easy part. The auditor wants to see what your team did in the minutes after it.

Under the FDA Food Code, cold-held food stays at 41°F or below.1

Across 140 warehouses on Dockmere, the median excursion at a dock door was closed in 18 minutes in September.2

Fennick probes report every 60 seconds, so the timeline has no gaps.4

What do Salt Lake City SEO firms charge per month?

Three of the four firms we read post a monthly figure on their own sites. Run Digital, based in Stansbury Park, prints plans from $399 for one discipline, month to month with 30 days’ notice. Positions come from Ahrefs’ US snapshot, pulled 5 November 2026. We read each firm’s ranking page, pricing or service pages and FAQ for prices, terms and addresses that day.

The directories on the same page fill in some gaps. Clutch, in second place, says it can earn a fee for some placements, and none of the first eight profiles we read lists a minimum project under $1,000. Semrush, in tenth, lists six agencies with a Salt Lake City office; RedSEO’s listing quotes “Month-to-month retainers from $1,500” and Rock Salt Marketing’s says “Starting from $1,000”. Onfolio’s list, in seventh, notes that Onfolio owns RevenueZen, whose programs start at $3,000 a month.

Growigami’s Search process is $1,999 a month for 200 pages, and the 500-page size costs $1,499 more. A process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. Run Digital’s $399 SEO plan lists one new page and one revamped page; ours is priced as one process, and every price sits on our price list.

Questions to settle before you sign

  • Who keeps the site and accounts if you leave. Run Digital’s FAQ tells readers to ask what happens to their domain when they cancel.
  • The monthly page count and the writer. Run Digital’s pricing page lists 1, 4 or 6 new pages by plan; the other three firms state no page count on the pages we read.
  • The term, in writing. Run Digital says month to month, and Utah SEO Pros says no long-term contracts.
  • What a ranking promise is worth. SEO.co’s FAQ says it cannot guarantee a first-place Google ranking.

Which sectors cluster in Salt Lake and Tooele counties?

County Business Patterns treats the Salt Lake City-Murray metro area as two counties, Salt Lake County and Tooele County. In the Census glossary, a metro area is a core with a substantial population plus the nearby communities closely tied to it economically and socially. Each one needs at least one urbanized area of 50,000 people or more.

In 2023 the metro counted 36,919 employer establishments, with 707,823 employees in the week of March 12. Those are 38.7 percent of Utah’s establishments and 44.8 percent of its employees. Average pay was $70,061 a year, above both the Utah figure of $61,016 and the US figure of $68,342. Midsize employers are more common here: 9,480 establishments, or 25.7 percent, had 10 to 99 employees, where Utah’s share is 23.7 percent and the nation’s 24.6. Our Utah page sets this metro beside the state’s other four.

The first seven rows are the narrower sectors where the metro’s share of jobs runs highest against the US, from software down to plumbing and HVAC at 1.12x. Law, computer systems design and manufacturing follow for their size, and advertising agencies close the table.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

To read the last column, 1.00x means the sector holds the same slice of local jobs as it does nationally. Owners with no staff are outside these counts.

Software, services and the trades

Of the sectors in our data, software publishing is the metro’s most concentrated, with 149 establishments and 13,168 employees at 2.57 times the national job share. That is 42.5 percent of Utah’s software publishing jobs. Our SaaS SEO page covers search for software companies.

  • The metro’s 734 law offices paid an average of $124,934, within $646 of the national figure (law firm marketing).
  • Its 675 insurance agencies and brokerages run at 1.15 times the US share and pay $95,402 on average, above the $90,831 national figure (insurance agency marketing).
  • 597 computer systems design establishments, the Census group that includes managed IT providers, employ 10,436 people (MSP marketing).
  • Plumbing and HVAC contractors number 509, employing 6,916 at 1.12 times the national job share (HVAC marketing).
  • The 138 roofing contractors run highest of the trades, at 1.59 times, and hold 52.4 percent of Utah’s roofing jobs.

Air travel and the largest employers

Salt Lake City International Airport counted 28,158,007 passengers in 2025, 0.7 percent fewer than the 28,364,610 of 2024. Delta and its Delta Connection flights carried 70.19 percent of the year’s enplaned passengers. The Utah Department of Workforce Services lists Delta Air Lines 18th among Utah employers for 2024, in the 5,000 to 6,999 range. Salt Lake County government is 16th, in the same range.

The local agency base

The metro has 93 advertising agency establishments with 878 employees, at 0.87 times the US share of jobs, and 382 marketing consulting establishments with 2,176 employees, at 1.36 times. The 382 are 34.3 percent of Utah’s marketing consulting establishments. Average pay at the advertising agencies was $86,273, against $106,841 nationally, and in marketing consulting $62,575, against $83,009.

Does your SEO company need a Salt Lake City address?

Not for the writing and publishing. Run Digital’s FAQ answers the Utah version of the question with “Not necessarily”, because rankings come from your Business Profile, reviews, citations, site depth and links. SEO.co’s Salt Lake City page, sixth on the results page, gives its offices as Seattle and West Palm Beach.

An address matters when you want to sit across a table from the people doing the work, or when the job includes photos at your site. Local detail for a page, like the neighborhoods you cover or what callers ask before they book, sits with your staff. Your CRO gathers it on video before drafting starts.

What Growigami runs for Salt Lake County companies

AI agents write the week’s pages from your team’s call answers, and each page posts to a calendar agreed in setup once you approve it. The CRO behind your account, who designs and proves every process, sets it up with your staff and compares it with what your CRM records. Your people give answers on short calls and take the inquiries that come in.

Search: 200 pages a month

At its first size, Search puts out 200 pages a month; the bigger size is 500. One buyer question per page, written for a Google ranking and for a citation when ChatGPT or Perplexity answers. Every month your buyers’ questions go to those assistants, and you see which answers mention you; our AI search optimization page explains that check.

Beyond search, the Paid and creative process carries its own $1,999 monthly price. It handles Local Services Ads on Google, upkeep of your Business Profile, and Google or Meta campaigns with as much as $25,000 a month behind them. Agents write the ads, every campaign lands on a page built for it, and the networks bill your spend at cost.

Outbound suits B2B sellers: 500 target accounts are researched each month, with a drafted note for every contact. Notes go out from your salesperson after a read, and anyone who answers is routed back to that person within the day.

A CRO review costs extra

Your CRO builds each process whether or not you add a review. Sessions that go over every process with that CRO cost $1,499 a month if held monthly or $2,999 if weekly. Leave them out and your own team sets direction while the processes keep running.

When a Salt Lake City SEO shop is the better choice

  • Your budget is under one process. Utah SEO Pros starts local SEO at $249 a month, and Run Digital’s plans start at $399 per discipline.
  • You want month to month from the first invoice. Run Digital and Utah SEO Pros both say they work without a long-term contract. Ours has a three months minimum.
  • You want meetings in person. Utah SEO Pros lists an office on East Vine Street in Salt Lake City, and i4 Solutions one in Woods Cross.
  • The job is a migration or a one-time fix. Run Digital’s FAQ says it gives away audits and migrations, and a monthly page count is the wrong tool for a single repair.

Choose Growigami if you want a fixed monthly page count, a price printed on our site and a CRO you meet on video.

Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.

Questions

Questions to put to any Salt Lake City SEO company

What does an SEO company do?

An SEO company works out what your buyers type into Google and ChatGPT, then writes or repairs the pages that ought to come up. Run Digital's FAQ names four parts of the job, from technical fixes to measuring what produced revenue. Our Search process puts out 200 pages a month, drafted from your team's answers.

How much should I expect to pay for SEO in Salt Lake City?

From $249 to $3,000 a month to start, among the firms that post a figure. Utah SEO Pros starts local SEO at $249, Run Digital starts at $399 per discipline, and SEO.co puts its managed SEO minimum at $2,000 to $3,000 (read 5 November 2026). None of the first eight Clutch profiles we read lists a minimum project under $1,000. Growigami's Search process is $1,999 a month for 200 pages.

Who are the biggest SEO companies in Salt Lake City?

No source we opened ranks them by size. Clutch's Salt Lake City SEO list says it can earn a fee for some placements, and Semrush lists six agencies with a Salt Lake City office. Ask any firm where its writers work and who will run your account.

How soon does SEO work in Salt Lake City?

Months, going by the ranking pages. Utah SEO Pros says most clients see measurable change within 3-6 months, and Run Digital expects competitive rankings to take six to twelve. Growigami controls the start. Search is usually live about three weeks after setup begins, with a fresh batch of pages each month after that.

Could 200 pages a month count as spam?

Only if the pages are empty of value. Google's spam policies give 'using generative AI tools or other similar tools to generate many pages without adding value for users' as an example of scaled content abuse. Every page we publish begins with a real buyer question and your team's answer to it, and you approve each page before it publishes.

Do you guarantee rankings?

No. What Growigami commits to is a scope you can count: 200 pages a month and a monthly report on which AI answers mention you. SEO.co's FAQ says a number-one Google ranking is impossible to guarantee. If the work does not earn its price, 30 days' notice ends it once three months have passed.

Does Growigami have an office in Salt Lake City?

No. Growigami has no office or staff in Salt Lake City or anywhere in Utah. Your CRO collects what your team knows over video calls, and the pages publish on your own site. If you would rather meet in person, Utah SEO Pros lists an office on East Vine Street and i4 Solutions one in Woods Cross.
