What an auditor asks for after a temperature excursion

The reading is the easy part. The auditor wants to see what your team did in the minutes after it.

Under the FDA Food Code, cold-held food stays at 41°F or below.1

Across 140 warehouses on Dockmere, the median excursion at a dock door was closed in 18 minutes in September.2

Fennick probes report every 60 seconds, so the timeline has no gaps.4

County Business Patterns 2023 counts 595 advertising agency establishments with 14,980 employees in the 13-county metro, fourth among US metros by count. Marketing consulting adds 1,805 establishments at 1.74 times the US share. Only one of the three agency pages ranking for this search shows prices, and those are budget bands on a form.

An SEO company in Chicago finds the searches a firm’s buyers run and builds the pages that win those searches on Google and in AI answers. Of the three agency pages on the first page for “seo company chicago”, one shows prices: chicagoseo.company, with budget bands from $500 a month (read 5 November 2026). Growigami’s Search process is $1,999 a month.

How much does it cost to hire an SEO company in Chicago?

Lists outnumber agencies on page one, so most prices come secondhand. Loopex’s list quotes Clutch at $100 to $300 an hour, with minimum projects from $1,000 to $50,000, and prices Loopex itself from $1,500 a month. chicagoseo.company asks visitors to pick a budget, from $500 to $1,000 a month up to $4,000 and more. Simple SEO Group and Coalition Technologies show no figure.

Positions come from Ahrefs’ US results, which Ahrefs last checked on 29 October 2026, and every page was read on 5 November 2026. The Manifest holds the ninth place.

At Growigami, Search costs $1,999 a month for 200 pages; the 500-page size adds $1,499. A process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. A firm that pairs Search with Paid ads pays $3,998 a month from the second month, plus ad spend at cost. Our price list has the rest.

Who ranks each Chicago SEO company on page one?

Five of the eight organic results rank other firms. Loopex, itself an SEO agency, places itself first of seven and says it serves Chicago remotely from Los Angeles. Clutch’s list carries a disclosure about fees for some placements. Built In’s list of nine is editorial, and RevenueBase counts 131 Chicago SEO agencies from its company data.

Simple SEO Group’s own advice is that “A local agency should bring more than a Chicago address.” Three questions get past the lists:

  • How many pages a month, and who writes them? None of the three agency pages on page one states a count.
  • What happens if it does not work? chicagoseo.company offers a money-back guarantee. Get the conditions in writing.
  • Who is your contact? Simple SEO Group names a designated account lead who coordinates its specialists.

Which Chicago sectors rank near the top of US metros?

The Census metro Chicago-Naperville-Elgin crosses a state line. It covers nine Illinois counties (Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will) and four in Indiana (Jasper, Lake, Newton and Porter). Census metro areas are whole-county groupings around a core urban area of 50,000 or more people. Outlying counties qualify through commuting ties to the central counties.

The metro had 248,519 employer establishments in 2023 and 4,285,971 employees in the week of March 12, third among 387 US metros on both counts. Average pay was $77,437, 13th among metros, ahead of Illinois at $72,398 and the US at $68,342. The share with 10 to 99 employees is 23.1 percent, against 23.9 in Illinois and 24.6 nationally.

The first five rows are sectors that run at 1.13 times the US share of jobs or more in Chicago. Four trades follow where the metro ranks second to fourth by count, then manufacturing and the two marketing rows. The concentration column divides each sector’s share of metro jobs by its share of US jobs.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

Establishments without paid employees are not in these counts. The SBA’s 2025 metro profile puts the area’s small businesses at 1.1 million, 99.6 percent of all businesses, employing 1.9 million people.

Law, IT and the trades

Chicago’s 5,865 law offices pay $154,988 on average against $125,580 nationally, at 1.39 times the US share of jobs (law firm marketing). The 5,425 computer systems design establishments, which include managed IT providers, employ 70,994 people (MSP marketing). Its 3,042 plumbing and HVAC contractors rank third among metros (HVAC marketing), and its 2,079 electrical contractors pay $95,217 against $76,545 for the US (electrician marketing). The metro’s 4,881 dental offices also rank third (dental marketing), as do its 553 new car dealers, which employ 31,858 people (auto dealer marketing).

Headquarters, freight and O’Hare

World Business Chicago says no one industry makes up more than 14 percent of Chicago’s economy by employment. SEC filings give CME Group’s business address as 20 S. Wacker Drive. USTR puts the metro’s 2024 goods exports at $56.7 billion. The Chicago Department of Aviation counted 84,856,018 passengers at O’Hare in 2025, up 5.97 percent.

Trade shows at McCormick Place

The Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority describes McCormick Place as four buildings with 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space and nearly three million visitors a year. The National Restaurant Association Show is scheduled there for May 22 to 25, 2027. Our Events process covers up to three events a month. It supplies booth graphics, invitations to target accounts and a follow-up message written for every badge scan.

The agency field

The 595 advertising agency establishments are 3.8 percent of the US count, against 3.0 percent of all US establishments. Agency pay averages $103,465, just under the national $106,841, and the 1,805 marketing consulting establishments pay $79,681 against $83,009. Our Illinois page sets Chicago beside Peoria, Rockford and the other metros in the state.

What Growigami runs for Chicago B2B and trade firms

On each process you pay for, AI agents produce the weekly drafts: pages, ads, call briefs and messages. They work from what your team told your CRO. Your CRO has run marketing and sales teams, sets each process up with your people and tests it against the deals in your CRM. Your sellers and staff keep the meetings, the estimates and the jobs.

Search: 200 pages a month

Two hundred pages a month publish at the base size of Search, and 500 at the larger size. Each page answers one question a Chicagoland buyer asks, aims at a Google ranking and is written to be quoted by ChatGPT and Perplexity. A monthly report shows which assistant answers name your firm.

Ahrefs counts about 200 US searches a month for “ppc agency chicago”. The Paid and creative process covers two channels, such as Google and LinkedIn, on up to $25,000 a month in ad spend, which you pay at cost. Agents draft the ads and up to two new landing pages a month. Each week the budget moves toward the campaigns your CRM shows booking calls, and Local Services Ads and Business Profile work sit in the same process.

Sales call prep for B2B sellers

Before each of up to 60 sales calls a month, your seller gets a brief on the buyer. After the call, the recap is drafted and the next step goes into your CRM. Stalled deals get a new reason to talk.

A standing review with your CRO is optional: $1,499 monthly, $2,999 weekly.

When a Chicago agency down the street is worth it

  • Workshops in your conference room. Simple SEO Group says it has been Chicago-based since 2008, and Loopex’s list names firms with South Michigan Avenue offices.
  • A staffed booth for a full show. Booth staffing from Growigami runs $2,499 an event plus travel and stops at three show days. A longer show, or several in one week, is easier with a local team.
  • A budget under $1,999. chicagoseo.company’s lowest budget band starts at $500 a month.
  • A marketer at a desk in your office. The metro had 30,970 people working as market research analysts and marketing specialists in May 2025, at a median of $80,400, by BLS figures.

Growigami fits a Chicagoland firm that wants 200 search pages, paid search or show follow-up produced every month at a price it can see before the first call.

Questions

Chicago buyers' questions for any SEO company

What does an SEO company do for a Chicago business?

It works out what your buyers search for, then builds and fixes the pages that answer them. Simple SEO Group's Chicago page splits the work into local, national and corporate SEO. Growigami's Search process covers the pages: 200 a month at the base size, built for Google and for citation in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers.

Which SEO service is the best in Chicago?

Page one cannot settle it. Loopex's list of seven puts Loopex first, and Clutch's list carries a disclosure about fees for some placements. Ask each shortlisted firm how many pages it will publish monthly, what that costs and how you leave. Growigami posts all three on its site.

When can we expect results from SEO in Chicago?

chicagoseo.company's FAQ says its SEO typically takes around 8 months, and closer to a year for a brand new site. No ranking date comes from Growigami. The dates it will give you: a first process to look at inside a week of CRM access, live roughly three weeks after setup begins, then new pages every month.

What contract does an SEO company in Chicago need?

Terms vary on page one. chicagoseo.company says it uses no contracts of any kind, and Loopex sells month-to-month. Growigami asks for three months, then 30 days' notice. Whatever the firm, get the term, the exit and who keeps the pages in writing before the first invoice.

Do SEO companies guarantee top Google rankings?

They should not. Google's SEO hiring guide warns that nobody can promise the top spot, and chicagoseo.company's own FAQ says the same while offering a money-back guarantee. Growigami makes no ranking promise. It publishes a scope you can count: 200 pages a month and a monthly report on which AI answers cite you.

Is there a Growigami office in Chicago?

No. Nobody from Growigami is based in Chicagoland, and there is no office. Setup and check-ins happen over video, and each process logs its output in your CRM. Simple SEO Group describes itself as Chicago-based since 2008, and Loopex's list names firms with offices on South Michigan Avenue.

Can my team review pages first?

Yes. You approve each page before it goes live, and the person you name at setup reads each batch. Since most of each page comes from your own people's answers on calls, the review is a fact check of what they said.

Price out one Chicago search process.

Give us read access to your CRM. Within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
