What an auditor asks for after a temperature excursion

The reading is the easy part. The auditor wants to see what your team did in the minutes after it.

Under the FDA Food Code, cold-held food stays at 41°F or below.1

Across 140 warehouses on Dockmere, the median excursion at a dock door was closed in 18 minutes in September.2

Fennick probes report every 60 seconds, so the timeline has no gaps.4

A Boston SEO company works to put a firm in front of buyers searching Google or asking an AI assistant. Two pages ranking for “seo company boston” show a monthly fee: Radiant Elephant lists Boston packages from $1,500 to $3,500 a month, and Loopex, on its own list of eight firms, prices itself from $1,500 (read 5 November 2026). Growigami’s Search process adds 200 pages a month for $1,999.

Growigami has no Boston office or staff. Setup is done in video sessions with your CRO, and pages go live on a schedule after that.

What do Boston SEO firms charge?

Radiant Elephant’s Boston page posts three local SEO packages, from $1,500 to $3,500 a month, and says it charges no setup fee and signs no long-term contracts. Its FAQ adds that packages for medical, dental and legal niches can average $2,500 to $5,000 a month. Boston Web Marketing and the seoinboston.com homepage give no fee. Coalition Technologies keeps an SEO prices page on its site, which refused our reader on 5 November 2026.

Thrive’s Boston page asks for a budget band, and Thrive’s SEO pricing page gives monthly estimates that start at $500. The one table that covers several firms is Loopex’s, and Loopex ranks itself first on it. It gives Clutch rates of $100 to $199 an hour for the eight firms and first projects from $5,000 to $75,000.

From Loopex Digital’s “Top SEO Companies in Boston” page, read 5 November 2026. Loopex wrote the list and placed itself first.

A minimum project is a one-off threshold, so it does not convert to a monthly fee. Ours is monthly: the base Search size is $1,999 for 200 pages, and the 500-page size adds $1,499. A process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. The full set of prices is on our price list.

Who buys SEO in the Boston-Cambridge-Newton metro?

County Business Patterns defines the metro as seven counties: Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth and Suffolk in Massachusetts, and Rockingham and Strafford in New Hampshire. The Census Bureau’s idea of a metro is one big population center plus the communities around it that share its economy and social life.

In 2023 those counties held 133,807 employer establishments and 2,681,704 employees in the week of March 12. Pay averaged $94,162, which is $7,612 above Massachusetts and $25,820 above the US. Establishments average 20.0 employees, and 25.8 percent have 10 to 99. Worcester, Springfield and the state’s smaller metros are compared on the Massachusetts page.

The first eight rows are every sector we serve where the metro places in the top 10 of US metros by establishment count. Law and computer systems design follow as the two best-paid of the rest, and the final pair of rows covers the local marketing trade. This table compares pay, not concentration: the right column is average pay here divided by average pay for the same sector nationally.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

The trades rank near the top of the country. The metro’s 2,876 landscaping establishments are third among 387 metros by count and pay 1.45 times the US average (landscaping marketing). Electrical contractors, 1,813 of them, rank fifth (electrician marketing). The 2,169 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors rank sixth and employ 22,860 people (HVAC marketing).

Software is where Boston stands apart. Its 700 software publishers rank fourth of 255 metros and employ 2.95 times the US share of jobs (SaaS marketing). HubSpot files with the SEC from Cambridge, Wayfair from Copley Place in Boston and Thermo Fisher Scientific from Waltham. The 2,798 computer systems design establishments, which include managed IT providers, pay 1.34 times the national average (MSP marketing).

Law and life sciences round it out. The 2,967 law offices average $161,278 in pay (law firm marketing). Vertex Pharmaceuticals gives its business address on Northern Avenue in Boston, and Moderna and Biogen on Binney Street in Cambridge. MassBio, the life sciences trade association, reports by its own count that Massachusetts-headquartered biopharma companies raised $3.45 billion in venture capital in the first half of 2026, 25 percent of the US total. USTR counts $29.9 billion in 2024 goods exports from the metro.

Boston’s advertising and marketing consulting base

The metro has 212 advertising agency establishments with 5,490 employees, about 26 per establishment, and 828 marketing consulting establishments with 8,034. Their shares of local jobs are 1.43 and 1.33 times the US shares. By count they rank 16th of 304 and 15th of 365 metros. Pay runs high: $118,353 at the agencies and $113,109 in consulting.

Does your SEO company need a Boston office?

Not for the writing. Radiant Elephant and Loopex both rank on page one without one. Radiant Elephant gives its headquarters as 35 State Street in Northampton, with a satellite office in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Loopex serves Boston from Los Angeles. Radiant Elephant even argues that at big Boston agencies “most of your retainer goes to office space and payroll”. The other side: seven of the eight firms on Loopex’s list keep an office in Boston or Somerville, and Boston Web Marketing is at 1 McKinley Square.

An office matters when you want to meet, or need someone at your site. What a page should say about Dorchester or the North Shore comes from your staff, who know the neighborhoods you serve and what clients ask. Your CRO gathers that on video before the first page is drafted.

What Growigami runs for Greater Boston firms

Each week AI agents turn your team’s answers into pages, and the pages you approve go live on an agreed calendar. Your CRO, who has headed marketing and sales teams, plans the questions with your staff and checks the results against your CRM. Your team answers questions on short calls and handles the inquiries that come in.

The Search process is the core: 200 pages a month on the base plan, or 500 if you size up, each built around a question a Boston buyer asks. Each month the same questions go to ChatGPT and Perplexity, and you get a list of the firms their answers cite. Our AI search optimization page explains how that report is put together.

For the map pack, Paid and creative is a separate process at its own $1,999 a month. It runs Local Services Ads and Business Profile upkeep, and it manages Google and Meta campaigns with ad budgets as high as $25,000 a month, passed through at cost. Agents write the ads, and as many as two new landing pages come with it each month.

Firms that sell into the region’s software, biotech or financial companies can add Pipeline. It researches 500 target accounts a month and drafts a note to every contact, and your seller sends each one.

Reviews with your CRO are an add-on, $1,499 a month for monthly or $2,999 for weekly. If you pass on them, the publishing carries on and your team sets the direction.

When paying a Boston SEO firm more makes sense

  • You need a site rebuild with the SEO. GoingClear, Temper And Forge and OHO Interactive are on Loopex’s list for websites and redesigns, with Clutch minimums from $10,000 to $75,000. We build websites separately, as a one-time project at $7,499.
  • You want SEO and PR from one team. Loopex’s list describes Walker Sands, with its South End office, as offering SEO, GEO and PR under one roof.
  • Your budget is about $1,500 a month. Radiant Elephant’s Boston packages start there, and Loopex prices from there on a month-to-month basis. Neither keeps a Boston office.
  • You want the team down the street. SERPCOM is in South Boston and Quincy, and Boston Web Marketing is on McKinley Square.

Pick Growigami when you want 200 pages a month and a monthly AI citation report at a posted price, without a Boston office in the mix.

Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.

Questions

Questions Boston firms ask an SEO company

What will an SEO firm actually do for my Boston business?

Research the searches your customers run, then write and fix the pages that should appear for them, on Google and in AI assistants. Radiant Elephant, for example, pitches neighborhood-level map tracking in Boston. Our Search process writes 200 pages a month from your team's answers, and Maps work is handled by our Paid process.

Is SEO still worth it in 2026?

For Boston firms, people still search: Ahrefs counts 1,300 US searches a month for "boston seo" alone. Its results page also carries an AI Overview, in Ahrefs' check of 23 October 2026. SEO that only chases blue links misses that. Our Search process is built for both, and the monthly report shows where AI answers cite you.

Who are the biggest SEO companies?

On this results page, the national firms are the large ones. Coalition Technologies says it works out of full-time offices across four continents, and Thrive runs city pages for Boston and many other metros. Size tells you little about who will write your pages, so ask.

Will Growigami promise a top-three ranking?

No. Google's own guide to hiring an SEO says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. What we commit to is scope: 200 pages a month on the questions your buyers ask, and a monthly report on which AI answers cite your firm. If that is not worth the price, 30 days' notice ends it after three months.

Does the New Hampshire side of the metro count?

It does. Two New Hampshire counties, Rockingham and Strafford, sit inside the Census definition of the Boston-Cambridge-Newton metro. A firm there can target buyers on both sides of the state line, and our work runs the same for it as for a firm in Cambridge.

What is the minimum term?

three months, then 30 days' notice ends it. Loopex's list says Loopex works month-to-month, and Radiant Elephant's Boston page promises no long-term contracts. One Growigami process is $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month.

Do I see pages before they go live?

Yes. You approve each page before it goes live, and approved pages then publish on the agreed schedule. At setup, your CRO agrees with you who on your team signs off. Each page is drafted from answers your own team gave on calls, so what you read is your team's knowledge in your firm's words.

Run Boston search as one process.

Give us read access to your CRM. Within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
