In Charlotte, SEO usually comes from an agency retainer or from a tool someone on staff has to drive. Growigami sits between the two as a third option. Your CRO maps what your buyers ask, and 200 new pages answer it each month at $1,999.

What an SEO company costs a Charlotte firm
Pick the process that matters most to your pipeline. Add the next one when the first shows results.
Charlotte firms hire an SEO company to show up when buyers search: in Google’s results, its map listings and AI assistants’ answers. Six agency pages show up for “seo company charlotte”, and one posts a monthly price: $1,000 to $5,000+ a month (Helium SEO, read 5 November 2026). A Growigami search process costs $1,999 a month and runs remotely.
Growigami keeps no office or staff in the Charlotte area and names no clients there. Your CRO meets your team on video calls, and pages publish to your site on a schedule you can check.
Do Charlotte SEO firms post their prices?
Mostly they post their terms. Four of the six agency pages say month to month, and one gives a monthly price. The table sets out what each first-page result says about itself.

Positions: Ahrefs, US results, pulled 5 November 2026. Each firm’s page was read the same day.
Helium’s page also shows campaigns starting at $2,500 a month, a boutique tier from $3,000 and content-only work from $1,000.
Its own advice for choosing a firm is to ask who runs the campaign, how rankings tie to revenue and what happens when you leave. Those are fair questions for us too. Your CRO sets up the process and results land in your CRM. Once three months have passed, 30 days' notice ends it.
What does Census data say about the Charlotte metro?
The Census Bureau uses the federal delineation for metro areas: counties are the building blocks, and each metro has at least one urban area of 50,000 or more inhabitants. Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia spans two states. Its eight North Carolina counties are Anson, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan and Union, and its three South Carolina counties are Chester, Lancaster and York.
The metro had 71,411 employer establishments in 2023 and 1,238,884 employees in the week of March 12. Average pay was $68,621, against $60,692 for North Carolina as a whole and $68,342 for the US. Its establishments average 17.3 employees, above the state’s 16.6.
Some 25.6 percent have 10 to 99 employees, close to the state’s 25.8 percent and above the US share of 24.6 percent. The state comparisons are rough, since the metro includes South Carolina counties. Our North Carolina page sets Charlotte beside the state’s other metros.
The first five rows are the most concentrated sectors we track in the metro. Manufacturing has the most employees. Investment advice ranks highest by count, 16th of 354 metros, and new car dealers have the most employees per establishment, about 61. The last two rows are the area’s marketing firms.

Insurance, real estate and dealers
Charlotte’s 1,129 insurance agencies and brokerages pay an average of $120,959, about 33 percent above the US figure of $90,831 for the sector (insurance agency marketing). The metro’s 2,400 real estate offices rank 17th among metros and run at 1.47 times the US share of jobs (real estate marketing).
The 164 new car dealers employ 10,035 people. Sonic Automotive, No. 297 on the 2026 Fortune 500, gives its business address as Colwick Road in Charlotte in its SEC filings (auto dealer marketing). The metro’s 768 electrical contractors rank 20th among metros by count (electrician marketing). Its 1,078 law offices average $125,486 in pay, almost exactly the US figure (law firm marketing).
The region’s largest headquarters
Searchers ask who the biggest employer in Charlotte is. We found no current ranking by headcount from a primary source, so here is the list by revenue. The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance counts eight Fortune 500 companies in its 14-county region on the 2026 list: Bank of America at No. 20, Lowe’s at No. 52, Honeywell, Nucor, Duke Energy, Truist, Sonic Automotive and Ingersoll Rand.
USTR puts the metro’s 2024 goods exports at $10.2 billion, the most of any North Carolina metro. The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina announced in July 2023 that railcar company TTX would move its headquarters from Chicago to Charlotte, with 150 jobs and $14.5 million of investment in Mecklenburg County.
The local search and agency base
The metro has 130 advertising agency establishments with 1,368 employees and 545 marketing consulting establishments with 2,440. Their shares of local jobs are 0.77 and 0.87 times the US shares. Average pay is $93,360 at the agencies, against $106,841 nationally, and $74,832 in marketing consulting, against $83,009.
What Growigami runs for a Charlotte firm’s search
Each week, AI agents turn your team’s answers into pages and post them on a set calendar. Your CRO has led marketing and sales teams; they plan the topics with your staff before the first page and check the process against your CRM. Your staff answer questions on brief calls and keep working the leads.

What goes on the 200 pages
At the base size, the Search process adds 200 pages a month to your site; the larger size adds 500. Pages answer questions such as which roof coating suits a Charlotte warehouse or how an independent agency compares carriers for a small fleet. Each is written to rank in Google and to be quoted when buyers ask ChatGPT or Perplexity. The monthly check of which answers name you is covered on our AI search optimization page.
Maps, Local Services Ads and paid search
Maps work is part of the Paid process, priced separately at $1,999 a month. That process covers your Business Profile and Google Local Services Ads as well as paid campaigns, with ad spend of up to $25,000 a month billed at cost. AI agents write the ads, and campaigns get landing pages, up to two new ones a month.
Both sides of the state line
A firm in Rock Hill or Fort Mill sells into the same metro as one in Mecklenburg County. Write a page for an area only when you serve it and can say something true about jobs there. Your CRO plans area pages from your own service list.
A target list for B2B sellers
A firm that sells to banks, insurers or manufacturers can work from a named list. The Pipeline process covers 500 target accounts a month, each researched, with a note drafted to every contact. Your seller sends each one, and replies come back to that seller the same day.
Your CRO can also go over everything with you, as an option: $1,499 a month for monthly sessions or $2,999 for weekly ones. Each process starts at $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month.
When a Charlotte SEO agency or a staff hire fits better
Your budget is under one process. Helium’s content-only work starts at $1,000 a month, half of what one Growigami process costs.
You want month to month from the first day. Helium, Charlotte SEO Firm and Digital Kings Networking all say so on their pages. Ours has a three months minimum.
You want a team you can visit. Charlotte SEO Firm gives street addresses on Trade Street and Tryon Street.
You need one person inside the company. A Charlotte marketing specialist costs a median $82,930 a year and can also run events, email and the website.
Growigami fits a Charlotte-area firm that wants a set number of search pages every month at a posted price. Add ads or outbound later if search earns its keep.
Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
Questions
Charlotte SEO company questions, answered
What do Charlotte SEO companies charge?
Helium SEO, the only agency page on Charlotte's first results page that posts a monthly figure, says most campaigns fall between $1,000 and $5,000+ a month (read 5 November 2026). A LinkedIn list on the same results page gives hourly ranges of $25 to $199. At Growigami, 200 pages a month cost $1,999, and 500 pages add $1,499 a month.
What does an SEO company do?
An SEO company studies the searches that lead buyers to firms like yours. Then it writes and repairs pages so you appear for them in Google results, on Maps and inside AI answers. The Charlotte pages we read also sell technical audits and link building. Growigami's Search process writes 200 pages a month; Maps and Business Profile work sit in the Paid process.
Is SEO still worth it in 2026?
For a firm whose buyers search before they call, yes, though the search now starts in more places. A G2 survey of 1,076 B2B software buyers in March 2026 found 51% now start their research with an AI chatbot more often than with Google. Pages now have to rank on Google and be quotable by those assistants, and that is what our Search process writes for.
Does an SEO firm need a Charlotte address?
Only if you want meetings in person. Helium SEO, the second result, says it is headquartered in Cincinnati and serves Charlotte clients through a consultant. SEO.co's Charlotte page gives addresses in Seattle and West Palm Beach. What a page needs from Charlotte, such as your service areas and your customers' questions, comes from your own staff.
How soon does SEO work in Charlotte?
Months, going by the ranking pages. Helium targets early gains in 30 to 60 days and says most Charlotte businesses see ranking movement within 3 to 6 months. Our commitment covers the start. The process typically goes live about three weeks after kickoff, then 200 pages publish each month.
Is there a contract?
Yes: three months, then 30 days' notice. Four of the six agency pages we read say month to month: Helium SEO, Charlotte SEO Firm, Digital Kings Networking and Thrive, for its own service. Get any firm's term in writing.
Can our team read pages before they go live?
Yes. Any page can wait for a read by whoever you name, and your CRO agrees with you during setup who checks what. Your CRO sets the topics with your team first, so the pages start from answers your staff already gave.
