The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

Raleigh’s digital marketing agencies sell search, paid ads, social media and web work, and the four whose sites reach Google’s first page post no prices (read 5 November 2026). For Raleigh-Cary firms, Growigami is a third option that works remotely. Your CRO designs every process with your team, priced at $1,999 a month apiece.

Someone searching “digital marketing agency raleigh” (roughly 500 searches a month in the US, by Ahrefs’ count) lands on agency homepages, the Raleigh Chamber’s member directory and a Reddit thread. No Growigami office or employee is in Raleigh or the Triangle, and we name no clients here. The work runs on video calls and inside your CRM.

Does a Raleigh firm need a Raleigh agency?

For brand films, photo days and in-person workshops, yes. Chair 8, which ranks second, describes filmmaking from drone shots to full product features. Its featured work includes a marketing strategy for Kane Realty’s NHID innovation district in Raleigh. That kind of work goes better with a crew a short drive away.

Search, ads, outreach and lead replies do not depend on where the team sits. Ask any agency who on your account works where. TriMark lists a Raleigh office on Boylan Avenue and a second one in San Anselmo, California. UFO’s list of top-rated Raleigh agencies, at number four, ranks UFO itself first and gives its offices as Cincinnati, Columbus and Portland.

Growigami suits a Raleigh-Cary company of 10 to 99 people that wants outbound or search running before it hires a marketing team. In this metro, software, IT and professional-services firms are unusually common. Trades and practices that need ads and fast replies to every inquiry fit too.

Which industries concentrate in Raleigh-Cary?

County Business Patterns defines the Raleigh-Cary metro as three North Carolina counties: Franklin, Johnston and Wake. The Office of Management and Budget draws each metro from whole counties. The core has an urban area of at least 50,000 people, and neighboring counties join when their economies are closely integrated with it. In 2023 the metro had 39,252 employer establishments and 617,511 employees in the week of March 12.

That is 15.2 percent of North Carolina’s establishments and 14.4 percent of its employees. Average pay was $68,969, which is $8,277 above the state average of $60,692 and slightly above the US figure of $68,342. Of the metro’s establishments, 25.6 percent had 10 to 99 employees, against 25.8 percent statewide and 24.6 percent across the US. Establishments averaged 15.7 employees, fewer than the state’s 16.6.

These are the ten sectors with the highest concentration among those we track, plus the local advertising agencies and, for contrast, manufacturing. Concentration compares a sector’s slice of metro jobs with its slice of US jobs, so 1.00x means the same.

Software, IT and the Triangle

Software publishers lead the table. The metro’s 169 establishments are about a third of North Carolina’s 524 and employ just over half of the state’s 24,981 software publishing workers, at an average of $184,171. Our SaaS marketing page covers how outbound and search run for that seller. The 1,278 computer systems design establishments, the Census group that includes managed IT providers, are 31.6 percent of the state’s count (MSP marketing).

Wake County Economic Development names Epic Games, IBM, Red Hat, Lenovo and SAS among the Research Triangle’s tech employers. Research Triangle Park, founded in 1959, lists more than 385 companies on its 7,000 acres. The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina lists Ralliant Corporation’s new global headquarters in Wake County, announced in March 2025: 180 jobs in the North Hills area of Raleigh.

Finance, trades and practices

SEC filings give Raleigh business addresses for Martin Marietta Materials, on Parklake Avenue, and First Citizens BancShares, on Six Forks Road. The metro’s 144 investment advice establishments run at 1.66 times the US share of jobs and pay an average of $188,233, against $167,820 nationally (financial advisor marketing).

Roofing contractors number 164 and employ 1,571 people at 1.65 times the US share (roofing marketing). The metro’s 609 dental offices pay an average of $73,619, about $12,900 above the US figure of $60,718 (dental marketing). USTR puts Raleigh-Cary’s 2024 goods exports at $6.7 billion.

The marketing firms already here

Marketing consulting is the second most concentrated sector in the table: 364 establishments with 3,224 employees, 2.32 times the US share of jobs. Those establishments are a quarter of North Carolina’s 1,476, and their employees more than a third of the state’s 8,860. Average pay is $81,743, against $83,009 nationally. The 74 advertising agency establishments employ 719 people at 0.81 times the US share and pay $92,261, against $106,841.

Our North Carolina page compares Raleigh-Cary with Charlotte, Durham-Chapel Hill and the state’s other metros.

What Growigami runs for Raleigh-Cary B2B and trade firms

Every week, AI agents research accounts, draft pages, ads and outreach, and write a first reply to each new lead on the processes you chose. Your CRO has run sales and marketing teams before; in the first weeks they build each process with your team and test it against your CRM data. Your sellers make the calls and your staff do the work you sell.

  • Outbound (Pipeline): each month 500 target accounts are researched, each with a reason it would talk now. Every contact gets a drafted message, which your seller reads and sends from their own inbox.
  • Search pages (Search): at the base size, 200 a month, or 500 at the larger one, answering the questions your buyers type into Google and ask ChatGPT. Each month we put those questions to the assistants and show you which answers mention you.
  • Paid ads (Paid and creative): two channels from Google, LinkedIn, Meta and YouTube, with spend of up to $25,000 a month paid at cost. For a roofer or landscaper, Local Services Ads and the Google Business Profile are part of it.
  • Inbound lead follow-up: each of up to 300 leads a month is researched and routed with a reply drafted, including the inquiry that lands at night.

A standing review with your CRO is optional: $1,499 a month for monthly sessions, $2,999 for weekly ones. Without one, your team decides what comes next and the processes keep running.

How to check a Raleigh agency before you sign

The Reddit thread on page one asks a fair question: which firms are legitimate? Ask each one for the same things in writing:

  • The monthly price and what it leaves out. Ask whether ad spend sits inside it.
  • The minimum term and the notice to leave. None of the four agency sites states one.
  • Who works on your account, and from where.
  • Who owns the ad accounts, the content and the site if you leave.
  • How results are reported, and in whose system. Ours land in your CRM.

When a Raleigh agency or a staff hire is the better buy

  • The job is a brand or a film. Chair 8 and Brasco lead with branding and creative work. Chair 8 also films with drones. Growigami’s video process films people over a short call or builds clips from your screens.
  • Public relations matters most. Brasco lists public relations and strategic communications. Growigami’s PR process writes releases and award entries but has no one in Raleigh newsrooms.
  • One process costs more than you plan to spend. Triangle Direct Media’s Semrush profile starts at $1,000.
  • You want a marketer at the next desk. A Raleigh-Cary specialist costs a median $78,980 a year and can sit in every meeting.

Growigami fits a Raleigh-Cary firm that wants one of those processes running in about three weeks, at a price it can read before the first call.

Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
