The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

374

marketing consulting establishments, Indianapolis metro (Census CBP, 2023)

Why it matters

374 marketing consulting establishments, metro-wide

That is 55 percent of Indiana's 682, in a metro with a third of the state's employer establishments. The metro also has 86 advertising agency establishments, and both groups employ less than the US share of jobs, at 0.83 and 0.52 times. BLS puts the metro's median marketing specialist at $65,200 (May 2025).

What you get

The digital marketing work we run for Indy-area firms

Pages on buyers' questions

200 pages a month on what buyers in the metro ask, built from your team's answers for Google and ChatGPT.

Outreach to target accounts

500 accounts researched a month, from insurers to software buyers, with a message written for each contact.

Two paid channels managed

Google, LinkedIn, Meta or YouTube campaigns on up to $25,000 a month in spend, billed to you at cost.

Inbound leads answered

Up to 300 leads a month researched, routed and handed over with a first reply written.

Your CRO, then agents

Your CRO, who has led marketing and sales teams, builds each process. AI agents then run the weekly work.

How it starts

How an Indianapolis firm starts in about three weeks

  1. Connect us to your CRM

Read-only access is enough. A week later you see the process we would build first.

  2. A few calls with your CRO

Your CRO sets up that process with your staff, and it usually runs within about three weeks.

  3. Weekly output from the agents

Agents produce the pages, ads, notes or replies each week. Results collect in your CRM.

  4. Scale up or hold steady

Add a process when the first one earns it. Leaving takes 30 days' notice after three months.

Google’s first page for “digital marketing agency indianapolis” mixes local agencies with ranked lists, and of the five agency sites we read, only Thrive posts a monthly figure. A marketing specialist in the metro earns a median $65,200 a year (BLS, May 2025). Growigami is a remote third option at $1,999 a month per process.

None of Growigami’s team works in Indianapolis, and we list no Indianapolis clients. The setup happens with your CRO on video, and the weekly output is visible in your CRM. Our Indiana page sets this metro beside the state’s other metro areas.

What the Indianapolis results page shows, and leaves out

The agency in second place builds its pitch on the buyer’s own complaints, such as spending money without knowing what works. Its menu has a “Cost” link, and the article behind it explains hourly, project and retainer pricing without a figure. Willow Marketing gives a Carmel address, Young & Laramore one on Fulton Street, and Thrive’s city page asks for a monthly budget from a list that starts under $750.

Of the five agency sites, Thrive is the one that publishes a monthly price, on a separate SEO pricing page: small-business SEO estimated from $500 a month, on month-to-month contracts. A ranked list written by Amra & Elma, which ranks itself first, says budget agencies charge $3,000 a month and elite ones $25,000 to $80,000 or more. None of the sources it lists backs those figures.

Which industries define the Indianapolis metro?

County Business Patterns covers 11 counties in the Indianapolis-Carmel-Greenwood metro: Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Shelby and Tipton. In the Census definition, a metro area forms around an urbanized core of 50,000 people or more. It adds the surrounding counties tied closely to that core by work and daily life.

The metro had 51,076 employer establishments in 2023, a third of Indiana’s, and 982,448 employees in the week of March 12. Average pay of $64,156 was $6,659 above the state’s and $4,186 below the US average. Its establishments averaged 19.2 employees, against 18.8 statewide and 16.7 nationally, and 27.5 percent had 10 to 99 employees, against 24.6 percent in the US.

The first eight rows rank highest on concentration among the sectors we track. Software publishers follow for their pay, then manufacturing, the largest employer in our data after professional services, then the two marketing rows.

The practices, trades and tech firms behind the table

  • The metro’s 994 insurance agencies and brokerages employ 7,073 people at 1.23 times the US share (insurance agency marketing).
  • 1,308 real estate offices run at 1.21 times the US share and rank 26th of 387 metros by count (real estate marketing).
  • 916 computer systems design establishments, the group that includes managed IT providers, employ 15,977 people (MSP marketing).
  • 87 software publishers employ 7,146 people, about 82 per establishment, and pay $200,557 on average, within $869 of the US figure (SaaS marketing).
  • 824 dental offices employ 7,446 people (dental marketing).
  • 598 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors pay $80,261 on average, $6,568 above the US figure, and 419 electrical contractors employ 7,309 (electrician marketing).

Life sciences and exports

Boone County, one of the metro’s 11, holds Lilly’s new manufacturing sites in the LEAP district at Lebanon. In May 2024 the IEDC put Lilly’s total plans there at $9 billion and 900 new jobs, up from more than $3.7 billion in April 2023. USTR credits Indianapolis-Carmel-Greenwood with $26.2 billion in goods exports in 2024. A supplier selling into those plants works from a short list of named accounts, which is the case outbound is built for.

What Growigami runs for Indianapolis service and B2B firms

Whatever processes you pick, the weekly drafting is the agents’ job. Your CRO, who has headed marketing and sales teams, designs each process with your staff, then holds it to the numbers in your CRM. Your people keep selling, answering the leads and doing the work customers pay for.

Search. Our Search process adds 200 pages to your site each month, 500 at the larger size. Every page takes a question your buyers type and answers it from what your staff explain every day. The aim is a Google ranking and a mention in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers.

Outbound. Pipeline researches 500 target accounts a month and writes to each contact. The targets can be plant buyers, insurers or software firms. Your seller reads and sends every message, and replies come back to that seller the same day.

Paid. With Paid and creative, two ad channels run on up to $25,000 a month of spend, charged to you at cost. As many as two landing pages are built each month. Roofing, HVAC and landscaping firms also get their Local Services Ads and Google Business Profile looked after. The ad copy is drafted by AI agents.

Lead follow-up. Each month as many as 300 inbound leads are looked up, sent to whoever should answer and given a draft reply, day or night.

A CRO review is an optional extra: $1,499 a month for monthly sessions, $2,999 for weekly. Without one, your staff set the priorities and the processes carry on.

How large is the Indianapolis agency base?

The Census counted 86 advertising agency establishments in the metro with 727 employees, and 374 marketing consulting establishments with 1,840. Those are 42 percent and 55 percent of the state’s counts. Agency pay averaged $77,065 (US: $106,841), and consulting pay $72,893 (US: $83,009).

Self-employed marketers with no staff fall outside these counts. Semrush’s Indiana list shows 5 agencies with an Indianapolis office among its 10 for the state.

The metro’s medians sit slightly above Indiana’s: $65,200 against $63,700 for specialists, and $137,980 against $136,260 for managers. BLS counts 6,330 specialists and 1,550 marketing managers working in the metro. Each Growigami process starts at $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month.

When an Indianapolis agency or hire is the right call

  • You want a brand campaign. Young & Laramore says it helps brands take a stand, and Willow Marketing’s work centers on brands that shape communities. Creative campaigns with shoots and events suit a shop in town.
  • You need people at your site. Photo and video at your office or job sites go faster with a local crew, since our video is made on short recorded calls or from screen footage.
  • Your monthly budget is small. Thrive estimates small-business SEO from $500 a month, while a Growigami process is $1,999 for at least three months.
  • You want a marketer on the payroll. The metro’s median specialist earns $65,200 a year. An employee can join every sales meeting.

For an Indianapolis firm whose marketing is mostly screen work, start with the process that reaches your buyers first and add the next once it earns its place.

Questions

Questions for any digital marketing agency in Indianapolis

How much does a digital marketing agency cost in Indianapolis?

Of the five agency sites on page one, only Thrive posts a figure: its SEO pricing page estimates small-business SEO from $500 a month, month to month. A ranked list on page one, written by the agency it puts first, claims budget agencies charge $3,000 a month and top ones $25,000 to $80,000 or more, with no source for those figures. Growigami posts $1,999 a month per process.

What does a digital marketing agency actually do?

It finds why the right buyers are not finding or choosing you, then runs the channels that fix it: search, ads, social, email and the website. The agency ranked second says it starts with the business problem before any tactic. At Growigami each channel is a separate process at $1,999 a month, so you can begin with the one you lack.

Which digital marketing agency is best in Indianapolis?

The one whose price, term and team you can check before signing. One ranked list on page one is written by an agency that puts itself first, so read it as an ad. Ask for the monthly figure in writing, who works on your account and whether you keep access to every ad and analytics account.

Do I need a separate SEO company in Indianapolis?

No, if search is one of the processes you buy. Ahrefs counts about 250 searches a month for seo company indianapolis. Our Search process publishes 200 pages a month for $1,999, built to rank on Google and to be cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity. Google Business Profile work sits in our Paid process, priced on its own.

What should the first 90 days look like?

The second-ranked agency's cost guide tells buyers to ask any agency what it does in the first 30, 60 and 90 days. Ours: seven days after CRM access you see the plan, the process runs about three weeks in, and its output reaches your CRM weekly from then on. We do not forecast leads or revenue for that period.

Can I approve work before it runs?

Yes. You approve each page and every ad before it goes out, and your seller reviews each outreach message, then sends it. Inbound leads reach the right person with a reply drafted, and that person checks the reply and sends it.

Is there a Growigami office in Indianapolis?

No. Growigami is remote, with no office or staff in the metro. Meetings with your CRO are video calls. Firms that prefer a visit can try Young & Laramore on Fulton Street or Willow Marketing in Carmel.

Run one Indianapolis process first.
