What an auditor asks for after a temperature excursion

The reading is the easy part. The auditor wants to see what your team did in the minutes after it.

Under the FDA Food Code, cold-held food stays at 41°F or below.1

Across 140 warehouses on Dockmere, the median excursion at a dock door was closed in 18 minutes in September.2

Fennick probes report every 60 seconds, so the timeline has no gaps.4

Search “seo company new york” and the first organic result is NYSEO/CO, a Manhattan firm. Of the six pages we read on that first page, three post a price: Thrive from $500 a month, Straight North from $1,500 and Winston Digital from $1,800. Growigami’s Search process costs $1,999 a month for 200 pages aimed at Google rankings and AI answers, and it runs remotely.

Growigami has no office or staff in the New York area, and no client here it can name. Your CRO plans the work with your team on video, and the pages and results land in your CRM. The Census metro reaches into New Jersey, and a firm in Newark or White Plains starts the same way as one in Midtown.

What a marketing hire costs in the city

BLS counted 79,290 market research analysts and marketing specialists in the New York-Newark-Jersey City metro in May 2025, at a median of $100,520. The metro’s 54,730 marketing managers had a median of $192,840. Both are above the New York State medians of $98,580 and $181,200, and well above the US figures of $78,760 and $166,790.

What does the 22-county New York metro look like in Census data?

The New York-Newark-Jersey City metro area crosses a state line. On the New York side, County Business Patterns counts ten counties: Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk and Westchester. On the New Jersey side it counts twelve: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex and Union.

A metro area, in the Census glossary, has at least one urbanized area of 50,000 or more inhabitants at its core. The neighboring communities that are economically and socially integrated with that core are counted with it.

The metro had 562,802 employer establishments in 2023, first among 387 US metros and 6.73% of all US establishments. It had 8,559,248 employees in the week of March 12. Average pay was $89,827, sixth among metros, against $85,730 for New York State and $68,342 for the US. Only 20.0% of its establishments have 10 to 99 employees. That compares with 20.7% across New York State and 24.6% for the US.

These rows are the 11 tracked sectors, not counting the catch-all professional services group, where the metro holds a larger share of US establishments than its overall 6.73%. The last column is the metro’s share of all US establishments in that sector.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

The metro’s 12,736 law offices are the most of any US metro and pay $167,012 on average, against $125,580 nationally (law firm marketing). Its 1,602 investment advice establishments also rank first, at an average of $317,958 (financial advisor marketing).

Computer systems design employs more people than any other sector in the table: 133,178 at 10,881 establishments (MSP marketing). The 1,346 software publishers rank second among 255 metros and employ 52,271 people (SaaS marketing).

The metro’s 9,582 dental offices rank first among metros by count (dental marketing). So do its 7,640 plumbing and HVAC contractors, who pay $81,547 on average against $73,693 for the trade nationally (HVAC marketing).

Securities jobs, container traffic and HQ addresses

The State Comptroller counted 207,400 securities industry jobs in New York City in 2025, the most since its data begins in 2000. Average pay in the industry, bonuses included, was $561,770. The office estimates that about 1 in 13 city jobs was tied to the industry in 2024.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey reports 6,757,964 TEUs through the first nine months of 2026. SEC filings put JPMorgan Chase at 270 Park Avenue, Goldman Sachs at 200 West Street and Pfizer on Hudson Boulevard East. Outside the city they put IBM in Armonk and PepsiCo in Purchase, New York. Prudential files from Newark, Johnson & Johnson from New Brunswick and Merck from Rahway, New Jersey.

1,626 ad agencies and 3,988 marketing consultants

No US metro has more advertising agency establishments. Their 47,743 employees are 3.89 times the US share of jobs in the sector, and they pay $131,263 on average, above the $106,841 national figure.

Marketing consulting ranks second among 365 metros, with 3,988 establishments and 27,015 employees at 1.40 times the US share. Average pay was $116,992, against $83,009 for the US. Both counts cover employer establishments only, so solo consultants without payroll are not in them.

What Growigami runs for New York City and suburban firms

Every month, AI agents draft 200 pages from the answers your team gave its CRO, and the pages go live on a calendar. The CRO builds and proves the process with your staff first, then reviews it against your CRM. On your side, people take short calls and look after the new clients.

  • Search (Search): 200 pages a month at the base size, and 500 at the larger one. Each page answers a question your buyers ask by borough, suburb or service. Our page on AI search optimization explains the monthly answer check.
  • Paid (Paid and creative): two of Google, LinkedIn, Meta or YouTube on up to $25,000 a month of spend. This is the PPC agency part of the work, priced as its own process.
  • Outbound (Pipeline): 500 target accounts researched a month, each with a reason it would talk now and a message per contact, sent by your seller.

A CRO review is extra and optional, priced at $1,499 a month for monthly sessions or $2,999 for a weekly rhythm. Our New York State page compares this metro with Buffalo, Rochester, Albany and Syracuse.

Will 200 pages a month look like spam?

Not if each page has something true to say. Google’s spam policies treat pages “generated for the primary purpose of manipulating search rankings and not helping users” as scaled content abuse. Our pages start from questions your buyers ask and answers your team gave. A Hoboken page earns its place only if you work in Hoboken.

When a New York SEO shop with an office is worth it

  • You want face-to-face strategy sessions. NYSEO/CO is on West 36th Street and Winston Digital is in Brooklyn.
  • Your budget is under one process. Thrive’s NYC packages start at $500 a month, month to month.
  • You want senior hands on a single service. Winston caps its retainer at $5,000 for one service and says senior people make the strategy calls.
  • You want one marketer on staff. A metro specialist earns a median $100,520 and can sit with your partners every day.

Growigami fits a New York firm that wants 200 pages a month at a posted price, with Paid or outbound added once the first process earns it.

Yes, as a separate Paid process at $1,999 a month. It runs campaigns on two of Google, LinkedIn, Meta or YouTube, on up to $25,000 a month of ad spend paid at cost. Up to two new landing pages a month come with it. Ahrefs counts about 250 US searches a month for ppc agency new york.

Can we check pages before they publish?

Yes. Pages can sit in a queue until the person you name at your firm signs off, and our own team reviews each draft before that. If your firm has its own review rules, as law offices and investment advisers do, you set that step during setup.
