The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

4.83x

courier and express delivery share of jobs vs US, Memphis metro (Census CBP, 2023)

Why it matters

Couriers: 4.83 times the US share in Memphis

The metro's 337 courier and express delivery establishments employed 22,988 people in the week of March 12, 2023 (Census). The Census flags that count as changed by 5 percent or more to protect confidentiality. Warehousing ran at 4.20 times the US share of jobs. One in-house marketing specialist in the metro costs a median $71,600 a year (BLS, May 2025).

In Ahrefs’ 8 October 2026 snapshot, the first page of results for “digital marketing agency memphis” mixes two national firms, three Memphis agencies, two directories and a Reddit thread. None of the agency pages posts a price (read 5 November 2026). A digital marketing agency there runs a firm’s website, search and ads for a fee. Growigami runs search, ads and lead follow-up remotely, from $1,999 a month per process.

Nobody at Growigami works in the Memphis metro, in any of its three states. Growigami names no Memphis clients, and setup happens by video with your staff.

What does page one tell a Memphis buyer?

The local businesses on it sell nearness and people. LAB Digital Creative calls itself a boutique “on purpose, so you’ll know the names of the people doing your work” in its founder’s note. Its founder writes that he started it after watching Memphis businesses sign “A year-long contract” with a team “that changed every quarter.” The agency at 2dimes.com calls itself Memphis-based and strategy-first, working since 1992. Ray Rico Freelance says it is “100% Virtually Based in Memphis” and works in HIV care and prevention, Latinx marketing and LGBT+ communications.

The national firms sell reach. Thrive’s Memphis page asks for a monthly budget, with choices from under $750 to above $100,000. Hibu calls itself a national company with employees in greater Memphis and offers a talk with a local rep. Clutch and The Manifest, the two directories, blocked our reader.

None of the five agency pages posts a price or, apart from LAB’s “No” to long contracts, a term. The People Also Ask box asks what an agency costs and what it actually does.

What Growigami runs for Memphis service and B2B firms

AI agents produce the week’s drafts: replies to new leads, search pages, ads and outreach notes. Your CRO has led marketing and sales teams. Here, that person designs each process with your staff and tests it on your CRM before the agents take on the repeat work. Your team picks up the calls, quotes the jobs and does the work.

Lead follow-up

Each month as many as 300 new inquiries are looked up, matched to the person who should respond and given a draft reply, web forms sent after hours included. A forgotten lead gets flagged back to your office while it is still warm. If your phones and forms already bring in more leads than your team can answer quickly, this is the first process to consider.

Search, and what a Memphis SEO company does

The phrase “seo company memphis” gets about 150 US searches a month (Ahrefs). Our Search process puts out 200 pages a month, 500 if you take the larger size. Every page takes up a single question your Mid-South customers ask, drafted from what your staff tell them every day, for Google to rank and AI assistants to cite.

Ads and the map pack

The Paid and creative process handles Local Services Ads on Google and your Business Profile, plus campaigns on any two of Google, Meta, LinkedIn or YouTube. Spend of as much as $25,000 a month goes through at cost, and the process builds up to two fresh landing pages monthly. AI agents draft the ads.

Outreach to shippers and plants

If you sell to shippers, 3PLs, warehouses or plants, the Pipeline process looks into 500 target accounts each month and writes a message to every contact found there. Your seller sends it, and a reply comes straight back to that seller.

A standing CRO review is optional and costs extra: $1,499 a month monthly or $2,999 weekly. Without it, your team sets priorities and the processes keep running on our side.

Memphis employers in the 2023 Census, by sector

The Census metro area here crosses three states. It counts Shelby, Fayette and Tipton counties in Tennessee; DeSoto, Marshall, Tate, Tunica and Benton counties in Mississippi; and Crittenden County in Arkansas. Under the Census definition, a metro has an urbanized area of 50,000 or more people at its core. Surrounding communities with strong economic and social ties to it are included.

Those nine counties had 26,131 employer establishments in 2023 and 561,551 people on payroll in the week of March 12. They paid an average of $60,574, which is $1,404 above Tennessee’s $59,170 and $7,768 below the US. Memphis establishments run large: 8,113, or 31.0 percent, had 10 to 99 employees, against 24.6 percent nationally. The average establishment had 21.5 employees, where Tennessee’s average is 19.8. Our Tennessee page sets Memphis beside the state’s other metros.

The first three rows are the metro’s most concentrated freight sectors, taken from the Census metro file. The next five are all the trades and practices we write for whose share of Memphis jobs runs above the US share. Manufacturing follows for scale. The two marketing rows come last.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

Each share figure is a sector’s slice of Memphis jobs divided by its slice of US jobs. The Census adds noise to protect confidentiality, and it flags the courier employee count as changed by 5 percent or more.

Freight, the airport and the river

Taken together, transportation and warehousing has 1,639 establishments in the metro and 77,655 employees, 2.95 times the US share (logistics marketing). The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority says FedEx employs more than 11,000 people at its Memphis hub and runs almost 400 flights a day there. By the authority’s count, the hub handles more than 180,000 packages and 245,000 documents an hour, at the airport the authority calls Frederick W. Smith International. UPS has a campus of about 134 acres at the same airport. The Port of Memphis describes itself as the second-largest inland port on the Mississippi’s shallow-draft stretch and the sixth-largest in the US.

The home services are where Memphis runs above the national mix. The metro’s 80 pest control establishments hold 1.31 times the US share of jobs (pest control marketing). Its 349 HVAC and plumbing contractors have 5,311 employees (HVAC marketing). Landscaping pays well above its national level here: $69,003 on average across 296 establishments, against $51,286 for the US (landscaping marketing). The 68 roofing contractors average $92,113, against $70,552 nationally (roofing marketing).

Small businesses past the Census count

In the SBA’s 2025 metro profile, Memphis has 157,158 small businesses with 228,500 employees, 42.0 percent of the workforce. Small employers rose from 17,338 in 2012 to 18,027 in 2022. The category with the most small businesses is miscellaneous services, at 28,842; our small business marketing page covers that owner.

How much does a Memphis digital marketing agency cost?

The five agency pages on page one keep their prices for the first call. LAB Digital Creative promises “a fixed price after the first call, before any work starts” for a website. Thrive’s budget question starts under $750 a month; it records the buyer’s budget.

A hire is the number you can check. BLS put the Memphis metro median at $71,600 for marketing specialists and $132,540 for managers (May 2025). The specialist figure is $1,810 above Tennessee’s and $7,160 below the US. The manager figure is $550 above Tennessee’s and $34,250 below the US median of $166,790.

A process at Growigami runs $1,999 a month. A process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. Two processes, such as lead follow-up and search, cost $3,998 a month from the second month. All prices are on our price list.

Memphis has 29 advertising agency establishments

That count, from the 2023 Census, is small for a metro of 26,131 establishments. The 29 advertising agencies employ 272 people, 0.34 times the US share of jobs, and pay $79,129 on average against $106,841 nationally. By count they tie for 82nd among the 387 metro areas.

Marketing consulting is larger: 81 establishments with 740 employees, 0.58 times the US share and paid an average of $47,354 against $83,009. These counts cover employer establishments only, so studios with no paid employees do not appear.

When a Memphis agency or a staff marketer fits better

  • You want no minimum term. LAB Digital Creative’s FAQ says it asks for no long contract. Ours is three months before 30 days' notice applies.
  • You serve a specific community. Ray Rico Freelance has built HIV care and prevention, Latinx and LGBT+ work in Memphis, with St. Jude among its partners.
  • You want video and photography shot locally. The 2dimes.com agency lists video and photography services. Growigami films people on short calls or turns your screens into product video.
  • You want someone on your own payroll. A Memphis marketing specialist earns a median $71,600 and can be in the building every day.

Growigami fits a Memphis firm in any of the three states that wants leads answered and search and ads running every week, at a price posted in advance.

Questions

Questions Memphis owners ask about digital marketing

How much does it cost to hire a digital marketing agency in Memphis?

No agency on page one says. Not one of the five agency pages we opened on 5 November 2026 lists a monthly fee. LAB Digital Creative quotes a fixed website price after the first call, and Thrive's form asks for a budget, from under $750. Our price is $1,999 a month per process; ad spend passes through at cost.

What does a digital marketing agency actually do?

It gets a business found and turns the attention into calls: a website that converts, search pages that rank, ads, social posts and email. LAB Digital Creative's FAQ boils it down to a website, SEO and ads. Growigami sells each piece as its own process, so a Memphis firm can start with lead follow-up or search alone.

How do I pick the best digital marketing agency in Memphis?

Pick the one that fits the channel your customers use and tells you its price and term before you sign. We publish no ranking of agencies. Put the same questions to each: who drafts your work, what the monthly fee covers and whether ad spend is billed apart. LAB and Hibu both invite a first call to talk it through.

What are the main types of digital marketing?

The common channels are search, paid ads, social media, content, email and the website itself. Growigami runs search pages and paid ads as processes, and adds two more: outreach to named accounts and inbound lead follow-up. A website is a separate one-time build at $7,499.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

With Growigami, the minimum is three months, then 30 days' notice ends it. That is longer than LAB Digital Creative, whose FAQ answers the same question with a plain no. The other four agency pages we opened give no term, so get one in writing before signing.

Can a DeSoto County or West Memphis firm use Growigami?

Yes. The Census counts DeSoto County, Mississippi and Crittenden County, Arkansas in the Memphis metro, and our setup runs over video wherever you are. Pages and ads can target Southaven, Marion or Collierville as easily as downtown.

Is there a Growigami office in Memphis?

No. Growigami has nobody based in the Memphis area and names no Memphis clients. Your CRO meets your team by video, and the week's work appears in your CRM. Hibu, by contrast, says it has employees in greater Memphis. LAB and the 2dimes.com agency are Memphis-based.

Can I see an ad before it runs?

Yes. Each ad, page and reply can be checked first, and outreach leaves only from your own salesperson's inbox once they have read it. During setup you and your CRO decide who looks at which pieces, usually the person already handling that work.
