The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

We go through your CRM and, within a week, show the process we would start with and what it produces.

  2. Map the work with your CRO

On calls, your CRO and your team decide what the process covers. It usually runs about three weeks later.

  3. Agents draft each week

Each week the agents draft the pieces, and your team approves every one.

  4. Grow it or end it

Add a second process once the first earns it, or give 30 days' notice after three months.

A digital marketing agency in Kansas City runs a firm’s search, ads, social posts and website. We read five Kansas City agency pages found through a search for “digital marketing agency kansas city”, and none prints a monthly price (5 November 2026). Growigami runs search, ads, outreach and lead follow-up remotely, at $1,999 a month per process.

Growigami has no office or employee anywhere in the Kansas City area, on either side of State Line. It names no clients here. Your CRO meets your team on video.

Does it matter which side of State Line your agency is on?

For the in-person part, yes. NEWMEDIA.COM tells readers it has “an actual Kansas City office” downtown, at 111 W. 10th Street. EAG Advertising gives an address on Wyandotte Street in Kansas City, Missouri. Konza Digital and Lifted Logic give Overland Park, Kansas. Konza’s homepage puts its pitch in one line: “We’re not a national agency with a Kansas City email address.”

For the screen work, no. A search page for a Lenexa HVAC company or an Independence insurance agency is written from what that firm’s people know, and it publishes the same from anywhere. The same holds for an ad, an outreach note or a reply to an inquiry. That is the part Growigami runs.

The Census treats both sides as one market. Its Kansas City metro area covers 14 counties: Johnson, Leavenworth, Linn, Miami and Wyandotte in Kansas, and Bates, Caldwell, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Lafayette, Platte and Ray in Missouri. The Census CBP glossary defines a metro area as a core with a substantial population nucleus and at least one urbanized area of 50,000 people. Adjacent communities closely tied to that core, economically and socially, are counted in.

What the Census shows about Kansas City employers

The metro had 55,104 employer establishments and 1,016,941 employees in the week of March 12, 2023. Average pay was $65,320 a year: $4,271 above the Missouri average of $61,049 and $3,022 below the US figure of $68,342. Our Missouri page sets the metro beside the state’s seven other metro areas.

Kansas City establishments are mid-sized more often than the US mix. Of the 55,104, 14,843 had 10 to 99 employees, 26.9 percent, where Missouri sits at 26.5 percent and the US at 24.6 percent. The average establishment had 18.5 employees, against 17.4 statewide.

The first eight rows are the sectors we write for where the metro’s share of jobs is at least 1.2 times the US share, with warehousing standing for freight. Veterinary services follows for the animal health corridor, and manufacturing for scale. The last two rows are the local agency base. A figure of 2.41x means the sector holds 2.41 times the share of local jobs that it holds nationally.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

The warehousing row comes from the Census metro file directly. County Business Patterns leaves out railroad employees, so the rail side of Kansas City freight is not in these counts.

Insurance, IT and money management

Insurance is the standout. The metro’s 1,244 insurance agency and brokerage establishments employ 14,372 people, 2.41 times the national share of jobs, and pay $93,933 on average, above the US figure of $90,831. Owners in that trade can read our insurance agency marketing page.

Computer systems design, the Census group that includes managed IT providers, runs at 1.76 times the US share across 911 establishments and 26,227 jobs (MSP marketing). The 249 investment advice establishments rank 20th by count among the 387 US metro areas (financial advisor marketing).

Trades, freight and animal health

Among the trades, 204 roofing contractors run at 1.46 times the US share of jobs (roofing marketing). The metro’s 662 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors employ 10,881 people at an average of $79,439, above the $73,693 national figure (HVAC marketing).

Freight is the other large B2B buyer. The Census file counts 1,837 transportation and warehousing establishments in the metro, with 62,303 employees at 1.31 times the US share (logistics marketing). Within that total, the 94 courier and messenger establishments employ 13,277 people at 1.54 times the US share. The 986 trucking establishments employ 16,843 at 1.37 times.

The Kansas City Area Development Council’s animal health page describes the KC Animal Health Corridor as anchored by Manhattan, Kansas and Columbia, Missouri. The project it features sits in Johnson County: Merck Animal Health’s $895 million investment in De Soto, Kansas, announced in May 2025. The metro’s 258 veterinary practices run at 1.09 times the US share of jobs (veterinary marketing).

Small businesses beyond the Census count

County Business Patterns counts only locations with paid staff. The SBA’s 2025 profile for the Kansas City metro counts 213,890 small businesses, employing 437,233 people, or 44.1 percent of the metro’s employees. Small employers rose from 37,622 in 2012 to 41,492 in 2022.

What Growigami runs for Kansas City B2B and service firms

Every week, AI agents produce the drafts: pages, ads, outreach notes and replies. Your CRO, who has led marketing and sales teams, builds each process alongside your staff. It is checked against your CRM before the agents take over the repeat work. Your team keeps what only it can do, which is talking to buyers and doing the work they hire you for.

Search, and what a Kansas City SEO company is paid for

An SEO company in Kansas City is hired to get a firm found in Google results, the map pack and AI answers. Our Search process publishes 200 pages a month, or 500 on the larger size. Each page answers one question your buyers ask and is written to rank on Google and to be quoted by ChatGPT or Perplexity. A monthly check asks ChatGPT and Perplexity those same questions and reports whether your firm is named.

The Paid and creative process runs two channels out of Google, LinkedIn, Meta and YouTube on up to $25,000 a month of ad spend, which you pay at cost. AI agents write the ads, and up to two new landing pages a month come with it. For a roofer or an HVAC shop it also covers Google Local Services Ads and the Business Profile.

Outreach and inquiry follow-up

For a firm that sells to a known list, such as carriers, distributors or animal health companies, the Pipeline process studies 500 target accounts each month. It drafts a note for each contact, and your seller sends it from their own account. Inquiry follow-up handles up to 300 new leads a month. Each is researched and handed to the right person with a reply drafted, including the ones that arrive at night.

Reviews with your CRO are an add-on. The build is included either way, and a recurring walk-through of every process costs $1,499 a month for monthly sessions or $2,999 for weekly ones.

What do Kansas City digital marketing agencies charge?

None of the five Kansas City agency pages we read posts a monthly price. Thrive’s Kansas City page asks for a monthly budget on its form, in bands from under $750 to above $100,000. The other public numbers we found come from DesignRush’s Kansas City list.

Kansas City’s medians sit above Missouri’s, $70,140 for a specialist and $130,550 for a manager, and below the US medians of $78,760 and $166,790. A Growigami process costs $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. Running two costs $3,998 a month after the first month. Ad spend stays at cost.

Kansas City’s agency base, by the Census count

The metro has 114 advertising agency establishments with 3,883 employees, 2.66 times the US share of jobs. That works out to about 34 employees per establishment, against about 13 nationally. Their average pay of $104,777 sits close to the US figure of $106,841.

Marketing consulting is smaller here than nationally: 345 establishments and 1,690 employees, 0.74 times the US share, paid $67,501 on average against $83,009. The American Marketing Association’s Kansas City chapter keeps its own directory, and its ad agency list runs to 23 names, Barkley, Bernstein Rein, MMGY Global and VML among them.

When a Kansas City agency or a staff hire fits better

  • You want to drive over and sit down. NEWMEDIA.COM invites readers to visit its downtown office, and Konza Digital sells itself as a Kansas City partner, not an out-of-town shop. Growigami meets you on video only.
  • You are planning a brand campaign with TV or outdoor. The AMA chapter’s directory lists 23 advertising agencies to ask. Our processes are search, paid digital, outreach and inquiry follow-up.
  • Your budget is below one process. On DesignRush’s list, five agencies set a minimum under $1,000, and Thrive’s budget form starts below $750 a month.
  • You want a marketer in the building. A Kansas City marketing specialist earns a median $72,580 and can join your sales meetings.

Growigami fits a Kansas City firm, Kansas side or Missouri side, that wants search, ads or outreach run every week at a price it has already seen.

Questions

Kansas City digital marketing agency questions

What does a digital marketing agency in Kansas City cost?

None of the five Kansas City agency pages we read posts a monthly price, so the public numbers are hourly. On DesignRush's Kansas City list, read 5 November 2026, most of the 41 agencies show an average rate, from $25 to $300 an hour, with a median of $125. Of the 28 that show a minimum budget, 19 put it at $1,000 to $10,000. Growigami charges $1,999 a month per process.

Who actually does the work?

At Growigami, AI agents draft the pages, ads and outreach each week on a process your CRO built and tested with your team. Your CRO has led marketing and sales teams. Your staff answer questions on short calls and keep the sales conversations. Lifted Logic's Kansas City guide tells buyers to put this question to every agency.

What does an SEO company in Kansas City do?

It makes a firm's pages show up for Kansas City searches, on Google, in the map pack and in AI answers. Growigami's Search process publishes 200 pages a month at its base size, each written from your team's answers and checked monthly against what ChatGPT and Perplexity say.

Will you guarantee rankings or leads?

No. Growigami makes no promise of rankings, calls or leads, and Lifted Logic's guide calls a guaranteed number-one spot a red flag. What we commit to is a scope you can count: 200 search pages a month, or 500 target accounts researched a month, depending on the process. You read what it produced in your CRM.

How long is the contract?

The minimum is three months, and after that 30 days' notice ends it. Lifted Logic warns buyers about long agreements with no exit path. None of the five Kansas City agency pages we read states its own term, so ask for it in writing.

Do you have an office in Kansas City?

No. Growigami has no office or staff in the Kansas City area and names no clients there. Setup happens on video calls and the work shows up in your CRM. If you would rather visit, NEWMEDIA.COM lists an office at 111 W. 10th Street, and Konza Digital and Lifted Logic give Overland Park addresses.

Can my team look at ads and pages before they go live?

Yes. You approve each page and every ad before it goes out. Your seller reads each outreach message, then sends it, and interested replies reach that seller the same day.

Put one KC marketing process to work.

Give us read access to your CRM. Within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
