The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

Wisconsin’s page one for “marketing agency wisconsin” has no map pack and two agency pages that state a focus (Ahrefs US results as of 28 September 2026). Two of its agencies post figures on their own sites: Weidert Group gives $15,000 to $30,000 a month for full programs, and Stream Creative lists budgets of $5,000 and up (read 5 November 2026). Growigami is a third option, run remotely: a CRO who has led sales and marketing teams builds the process, and the weekly work costs $1,999 a month per process.

Growigami has no office, staff or client in Wisconsin. Your CRO meets your team on video, and the week’s research, messages and pages land in your CRM.

Does a Wisconsin company need a Wisconsin marketing agency?

The results page assumes so. Its agency listings are mostly local: 6AM Marketing in Madison, Stream Creative in Milwaukee, and social profiles for agencies in Green Bay and Oak Creek. One exception ranks third: a5 Branding & Digital, which describes itself as Chicago-based and appears through a sponsor page of the Wisconsin City/County Management Association.

Directories need a careful read. RevenueBase’s list of digital marketing agencies “based in Madison” opens with Zero Gravity Marketing, which it records as headquartered in Madison, Connecticut. Ask any listed agency where the people on your account work.

Most of what a Wisconsin manufacturer needs from marketing happens on screens. Account research and outreach to engineers fall in that group, and so do technical pages and trade-show follow-up, none of which needs a local office. A shoot on your plant floor does.

A Wisconsin company can hand marketing to an agency on retainer, or license software that someone in-house then has to run. Growigami is a third path between those. A CRO who has run sales and marketing teams builds each process around how your company sells. AI agents then do the weekly research and drafting, at a monthly price printed on our site. It suits companies of 10 to 99 people, and professional and service firms, that want the work done without a marketing department.

What Growigami runs for a Wisconsin manufacturer or firm

Each week, AI agents research the accounts on your list and draft the outreach and pages your team will send or publish. Your CRO builds each process with your sales and engineering people first and checks it against your CRM. Your sellers send the messages, run the calls and close the orders.

Each of these is one process, priced from $1,999 a month:

  • Outbound (Pipeline): 500 target accounts researched a month. Each gets a reason it would talk now, such as a new plant manager, plus a message for every contact. Your seller reads and sends; replies come back to that seller the same day.
  • Events: booth materials and invitations for up to three shows a month, then a written follow-up for each badge scan. On-site support at your booth is an add-on, $2,499 per event for up to three show days, with travel at cost.
  • Search (Search): 200 pages a month, or 500 on the larger size, answering the questions your buyers ask before they call, drafted from what your engineers and sellers already know. Pages are built to rank on Google and to be cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity.
  • Inbound lead follow-up: up to 300 leads a month, each researched and passed to the right seller with a first reply drafted, at any hour.

A standing CRO review is optional, $1,499 a month for monthly sessions or $2,999 for weekly. Without one, your own team sets the direction and each process keeps going.

Where Wisconsin’s jobs concentrate, by sector

County Business Patterns counted 144,774 employer establishments in Wisconsin in 2023, each a location with at least one paid employee, and 2,642,958 employees in the week of March 12. Per 100,000 residents that is 2,449, about 2 percent below the US rate of 2,497. The establishments run larger than the US average, 18.3 employees against 16.7, and 27.8 percent have 10 to 99 employees, the fifth-highest share among the 50 states and DC. Census estimates show Wisconsin’s population up 0.3 percent from April 2020 to July 2023, against 1.0 percent for the US.

Of the 20 sectors we track, the first six rows are the ones whose share of Wisconsin jobs runs above the US share, highest first. Dental offices follow because they pay above the national average. Insurance agencies and landscaping come next as the most numerous of the narrower sectors we track, and the table ends with computer systems design and the two marketing sectors.

A value of 2.06x means manufacturing’s slice of Wisconsin jobs is a little over twice its slice of US jobs.

Manufacturing first

Wisconsin’s 8,479 manufacturing establishments employ 479,846 people, 18.2 percent of everyone counted in the state, and the count ranks 10th among the 50 states and DC (manufacturing marketing). Average manufacturing pay was $68,429, against $73,202 nationally.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s 2026 manufacturing snapshot, using Lightcast data, ranks Wisconsin first in the US for manufacturing employment per capita. It counts more than 8,900 manufacturing companies and 470,000 industry jobs, and puts manufacturers’ 2024 output at nearly $78 billion, close to 18 percent of state GDP. The same snapshot ranks Wisconsin first for employment concentration in fabricated metal products, paper and printing. Its company count comes from Lightcast and measures something different from the Census establishment count above, so the two figures should not be compared.

Practices, dealers and service firms

  • Chiropractic offices number 1,079 and run at 1.43 times the US share of jobs, the 13th largest count of the 51 (chiropractor marketing).
  • The 553 new car dealers employ 24,054 people at 1.12 times, also 13th by count (auto dealer marketing).
  • 702 veterinary practices run at 1.04 times, 17th by count (veterinary marketing).
  • Insurance agencies and brokerages are the most numerous of the narrower sectors in the table, at 2,587 establishments (insurance agency marketing).
  • 1,944 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors pay $78,674 on average, $4,981 above the US figure (HVAC marketing).

Software publishing is small by count but not by payroll: 201 establishments employ 22,577 people at an average of $141,055.

Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay and the border metros

The Census file lists 15 metro areas that include Wisconsin counties; the table shows the eight largest. Three cross a state line, and their rows count the whole metro. Minneapolis-St. Paul takes in only Pierce and St. Croix counties on the Wisconsin side, so most of its establishments are in Minnesota.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023, metropolitan area file (average pay computed by Growigami from annual payroll and employees).

Milwaukee-Waukesha holds 27.3 percent of Wisconsin’s employer establishments. Madison pays more, $68,727 on average against Milwaukee’s $67,342. Its establishments also average 20.2 employees, the most of any metro in the table. Appleton has fewer establishments than Duluth but more employees, 115,626 against 106,305. Eau Claire pays the least of the eight, $54,616.

How many ad agencies and consultants work in Wisconsin?

The Census counted 178 advertising agency establishments and 587 marketing consulting establishments in Wisconsin in 2023, 765 in all, employing 5,409 people. Wisconsin has 1.73 percent of US employer establishments, but 1.15 percent of US advertising agencies and 1.12 percent of marketing consulting establishments.

As a share of jobs, advertising agencies run at 0.52 times the US level and marketing consulting at 0.57 times. Wisconsin’s advertising agencies paid $95,248 on average, below the national $106,841, and its marketing consultants $56,665, below $83,009. Self-employed marketers are not in these counts, which cover employer establishments only.

Questions

What Wisconsin firms ask before hiring a marketing agency

What does a marketing agency in Wisconsin cost?

Two page-one agencies post figures. Weidert Group's pricing page gives $15,000 to $30,000 a month for full marketing and sales programs, and Stream Creative's HubSpot profile lists budgets of $5,000 and up. The profiles on page three of Clutch's Wisconsin branding list show minimum projects from $1,000 to $25,000 (read 5 November 2026). Growigami's processes cost $1,999 a month each, with ad spend at cost, and the minimum is three months, then 30 days' notice.

Who are the big marketing agencies in Wisconsin?

No source we opened ranks Wisconsin agencies by size. The Census counts 178 advertising agency and 587 marketing consulting establishments in the state. For a company of 10 to 99 people, start with each firm's price and term. Then ask who will do the work.

Can a remote team market to manufacturers?

Yes, for the work that happens on screens. That covers researching target accounts, writing to engineers and buyers, publishing technical pages and following up after a trade show. Your CRO learns how you sell from your sales team on video calls. Plant photography is better done locally, and our on-site event support costs $2,499 an event, plus travel.

Do you work with companies outside Milwaukee and Madison?

Yes. The work is remote, so a company in Green Bay, Eau Claire or La Crosse starts the same way as one in Milwaukee. Outreach, pages and ads can be aimed at the regions and industries you sell to, inside Wisconsin or beyond it.

Will you guarantee new customers?

No. We do not promise customers, meetings or revenue. Each process has a scope you can measure, such as 500 target accounts researched a month or 300 inbound leads followed up. What it produced shows in your CRM. After three months you can leave with 30 days' notice.

Does Growigami have a Wisconsin office?

No. Growigami has no office or staff in Wisconsin and names no Wisconsin clients. Your CRO works with your team on video calls, and the week's output arrives in your CRM. For an agency nearby, Stream Creative lists Milwaukee and 6AM Marketing lists Madison.

Can we review outreach before it goes out?

Yes. Your seller reviews each message, then sends it from their own account. You approve each page and every ad before it runs, and each inbound reply waits for your seller to check it and send it.
