The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

Milwaukee-Waukesha employers in four counties, by sector

County Business Patterns reports the Milwaukee-Waukesha metro area as Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties. The Census glossary defines a metro area by its population nucleus, which must include an urbanized area of at least 50,000 inhabitants. The adjacent communities economically and socially integrated with that nucleus belong to it too.

The metro had 39,486 employer establishments in 2023, 27.3 percent of Wisconsin’s, and 775,828 employees in the week of March 12, 29.4 percent of the state’s. Average pay was $67,342, which is $6,252 above Wisconsin’s and $1,000 under the US average. Midsize employers are common here: 11,544 establishments, or 29.2 percent, have 10 to 99 employees, against 27.8 percent in Wisconsin and 24.6 percent nationally. Our Wisconsin page compares Milwaukee with Madison, Green Bay and the state’s other metros.

Ranked by how far their share of metro jobs runs past the national share, the top ten of the 20 sectors we track fill the first rows, ending with law at 1.01x. Plumbing and HVAC follow for their pay, and computer systems design for its size.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

The last column divides a sector’s share of metro employees by its share of US employees. People who work for themselves with no staff are not counted.

Manufacturing and its suppliers

The metro’s 2,190 manufacturing establishments employ 109,511 people, 1.60 times manufacturing’s national slice of jobs, and the count ranks 24th of 387 metro areas. Average manufacturing pay, $73,215, matches the national figure almost exactly. In WEDC’s 2026 manufacturing snapshot, a Komatsu executive explains its Milwaukee investment partly by saying “our network of key heavy manufacturing suppliers is also located here in southeast Wisconsin.”

The Water Council, a membership organization for water technology, gives its headquarters as Milwaukee. It calls the region’s cluster “one of the most concentrated water technology clusters in the world” and says it works with more than 30 cluster partners around the world.

Advisers, law offices and trades

  • Investment advice runs at 1.23 times the US share, across 149 establishments paying $106,585 on average, against $167,820 nationally (financial advisor marketing).
  • The metro’s 643 law offices pay an average of $126,648, a little above the US $125,580 (law firm marketing).
  • 654 dental offices employ 5,631 people and pay $68,975 on average, against $60,718 nationally (dental marketing).
  • Roofing contractors number 142, at 1.09 times the US share and $76,948 in average pay (roofing marketing).
  • 633 landscaping establishments employ 4,828 people (landscaping marketing).
  • 574 computer systems design establishments, the Census group that includes managed IT providers, employ 7,836 (MSP marketing).

The agency base, and the airport

Milwaukee is Wisconsin’s agency center. Its 81 advertising agency establishments are 45.5 percent of the state’s and employ 65.2 percent of the state’s agency staff, at 1.17x. They paid $108,708 on average, $1,867 above the national figure. The metro’s 243 marketing consulting establishments run at 1.19 times and paid $50,460, against $83,009 nationally.

Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport counted 5,874,372 passengers in 2025, down 7.00 percent from 6,316,245 in 2024.

Does a Milwaukee company need a downtown agency?

In Milwaukee, finding one is easy. Vertz Marketing pitches itself as “just around the corner, not across the world”, and all five agency pages we read sit in the same downtown ZIP code. If you want to walk over for a meeting, that counts.

For a manufacturer or B2B firm, much of the weekly work is research and writing aimed at buyers wherever they sit. None of it needs a desk downtown. The local knowledge that matters comes from your sales team and engineers, and your CRO collects it on video calls. A specialist hire costs a median $73,880 a year in the metro, before benefits.

What Growigami runs for Milwaukee-area B2B companies

On the processes you chose, AI agents spend each week looking into target accounts and writing the outreach, follow-ups and answers to new leads. Your CRO, who designs and proves each process, sets it up with your sales team and checks it against what your CRM records. Your sellers send the messages, take the calls and quote the orders.

Each process is priced from $1,999 a month:

  • Outbound (Pipeline): every month we look into 500 accounts you want, note a reason each has to talk now and write to each contact. Messages go out under your seller’s name after a read, and answers come back to that seller within the day.
  • Inbound lead follow-up: as many as 300 new leads a month get looked up, scored and handed to the seller who should take them. Each arrives with a reply already written, any time of day. A lead nobody opens goes back to your team before it cools.
  • Search (Search): 200 pages monthly (500 at the upper size), written to rank on Google and to earn citations from ChatGPT and Perplexity. The content comes from what your sellers and engineers already know.
  • Paid ads (Paid and creative): two of Google, LinkedIn, Meta or YouTube on up to $25,000 a month in spend. Up to two new landing pages come each month, and spend is paid at cost.

The CRO review is an extra: $1,499 a month buys a monthly session, $2,999 a weekly one. Leave it off and your team sets the priorities while each process runs.

When a downtown Milwaukee agency suits you better

  • You need a brand built. THIEL’s homepage leads with branding. Growigami runs weekly processes; a brand project is a separate one-time job at $4,999.
  • You need a new website designed. Brew City Marketing leads with custom WordPress design for Milwaukee businesses. Our website build is a one-time $7,499.
  • You want people in the room. All five agencies we read are downtown, and Vertz says it will come to you.
  • You want a marketing leader on staff. The metro’s median for marketing managers is $130,700. Our fractional marketing page covers the part-time version.

Growigami fits a Milwaukee company that wants its outreach and follow-up handled weekly, with the cost known before anyone gets on a call.

Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.

Questions

Milwaukee digital marketing agency questions, answered

What is the average fee for a digital marketing agency in Milwaukee?

Two page-one agencies post monthly SEO fees. Brew City Marketing's packages run from $300 to $2,000+ a month, and SocialSurge Marketing says it typically charges $1,500 to $4,000. On DesignRush's Milwaukee list, 15 of 27 agencies with a stated minimum budget sit at $1,000 to $10,000, and the median hourly rate shown is $150 (read 5 November 2026). Growigami is $1,999 a month per process.

What does a digital marketing agency actually do?

It runs the online channels a company's buyers use to find it, usually some mix of search, paid ads, social media and the website. The Milwaukee pages on the first results page each lead with a different piece. THIEL opens with branding, while Brew City Marketing puts web design and SEO first. Growigami sells each channel as a separate process.

Which company is the best digital marketing agency in Milwaukee?

No source we opened ranks them on results. DesignRush orders its Milwaukee list with its own scores and marks some listings as paid placements. Ask any agency for its price, its term and the names of the people on your account before you compare.

What does an SEO company in Milwaukee cost?

Brew City Marketing posts four SEO packages, from $300 to $2,000+ a month, and SocialSurge Marketing says its SEO typically runs $1,500 to $4,000 a month (read 5 November 2026). Vertz Marketing, which calls itself the Milwaukee SEO agency, posts no SEO price. Search runs $1,999 a month at 200 pages, with $1,499 more for 500.

Will this bring in orders?

We do not promise orders, leads or rankings. You can count what each process delivers, for example 500 accounts researched or up to 300 leads answered in a month. Your sellers see the output in your CRM. If it does not pay its way, 30 days' notice ends it once three months have passed.

Does Growigami have a Milwaukee office?

No. There is no Growigami office in Milwaukee, nobody on staff in Wisconsin and no Wisconsin client we name. Setup and reviews happen on video with your CRO. If you want an agency you can walk into, all five agency pages we read list downtown addresses in ZIP code 53202.

Do our sellers see outreach before it is sent?

Yes. Your seller reviews each message, then sends it from their own account. You approve each page and every ad before it runs, and each inbound reply waits for your seller to check it and send it.

Try one Milwaukee process first.
