The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

A New Jersey marketing agency runs a firm’s search, ads or social work on a monthly retainer. Of the five agency sites on page one for “marketing agency new jersey”, only AB Marketing Group posts its retainer, at $3,500 to $6,500 a month. Growigami, run remotely, is a third option at $1,999 a month per process; an NJ marketing manager’s median pay is $180,040 (BLS, May 2025).

Growigami has no office or staff in New Jersey. Your CRO works with your team over video calls.

Should a New Jersey firm hire a marketing agency it can visit?

Hire one you can visit when the work happens in person. Gappsy’s FAQ on New Jersey agencies lists “Personalized, Face-to-Face Interaction” among the reasons to stay local. All five agency homepages on page one name an NJ base, in Old Bridge, Parsippany, Morristown, Tinton Falls and Manasquan.

The weekly work most firms hand off is done at a desk: search pages, ads, outreach and replies to new leads. That work does not change with the distance to your office. Growigami runs it remotely and shows the output in your CRM.

AB Marketing Group’s homepage says marketing often lands on “whoever was closest: the office manager, your best salesperson, family.” Growigami takes that load in pieces. Your CRO has led marketing and sales teams and designs one process with your staff, then AI agents carry the weekly work on it at a published price.

This suits New Jersey companies of 10 to 99 people, and professional and home-service practices, that would rather pay per process than hire.

What Growigami runs for a New Jersey firm short on staff

AI agents write the drafts every week: search pages, ads, outreach and first replies to new leads. Your CRO designs each process with your team at the start and measures it against your CRM. Your staff keep the sales calls and send outreach from your domains.

Every process is $1,999 a month at the base size:

  • Search (Search): 200 pages a month (500 at the larger size). Pages answer the questions New Jersey buyers type into Google or ask ChatGPT and Perplexity, written from your team’s own answers. A monthly check shows which AI answers name you.
  • Outbound (Pipeline): each month, 500 accounts are researched and given a current reason to talk, with a written message for each contact. Sellers review and send, and replies come back to them the same day.
  • Paid ads (Paid and creative): two channels from Google, LinkedIn, Meta and YouTube, with spend capped at $25,000 a month and paid by you at cost. Two new landing pages a month at most are part of it, and service firms get Local Services Ads and Business Profile work.
  • Inbound lead follow-up: as many as 300 leads a month get researched, scored and handed to the right seller with a reply drafted, whatever the hour.

The CRO review is optional and priced on its own: $1,499 a month for a monthly review of the whole system, $2,999 for a weekly one. Without it, your team sets the agenda and we keep the work moving.

New Jersey’s industry mix in the 2023 Census

New Jersey had 237,968 employer establishments in 2023, meaning locations with a payroll, or 2,561 for every 100,000 residents. The US rate is 2,497, so New Jersey runs about 3 percent higher. Its establishments lean small: 23.6 percent have 10 to 99 employees, below the US share of 24.6 percent, and 74 percent have fewer than 10. Average pay was $74,045, against $68,342 nationally.

The table opens with four industries from the full Census file where New Jersey’s share of jobs runs at two to six times the US share. Next come five Growigami sectors, each with more than 2,500 New Jersey establishments. The last two rows are the state’s own marketing firms. The share column divides each sector’s share of New Jersey jobs by its share of US jobs.

New Jersey ranks second among the states by its 197 pharmaceutical manufacturing establishments, and fifth by its 596 drug wholesalers. Those wholesalers pay $211,873 on average, against $159,612 for the industry nationally. All of New Jersey manufacturing counts 7,018 establishments and 225,095 employees (manufacturing marketing).

The 99 water transportation support establishments, a group that includes port and harbor operators, employ 5,946 people at an average of $154,903 (logistics marketing). Computer systems design, which includes managed IT providers, is New Jersey’s largest row: 6,369 establishments, sixth among the states, at 1.48 times the US share (MSP marketing).

New Jersey’s 4,511 dental offices rank seventh among the states (dental marketing), and so do its 4,734 landscaping establishments (landscaping marketing). The 2,588 insurance agencies and brokerages pay $115,546 on average, $24,715 above the US figure (insurance agency marketing). There are also 633 investment advice establishments, 11th among the states (financial advisor marketing).

New Jersey’s metro areas cross state lines

The Census file has six metro areas that include New Jersey counties. The three largest also cover parts of New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware or Maryland, so their counts include establishments outside New Jersey. The New York-Newark-Jersey City metro alone has 562,802, more than twice the state’s total.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023, metropolitan area file (average pay computed by Growigami from payroll and employees).

Of the three metros entirely inside New Jersey, Trenton-Princeton has 325 fewer establishments than Atlantic City-Hammonton but 73,367 more employees: 21.5 per establishment against 13.5. It also pays the most of the three, $86,384 on average, which is $34,295 more than Atlantic City-Hammonton.

Is New Jersey short of marketing agencies?

No. By Census count its agency base is close to the US share. The state had 393 advertising agency establishments, 11th among the states, and 1,367 marketing consulting establishments, 9th. They employ 1.08 and 1.07 times the US share of jobs. New Jersey holds 2.85 percent of US employer establishments, 2.53 percent of advertising agencies and 2.62 percent of marketing consulting establishments.

Pay splits the two groups. New Jersey advertising agencies paid $96,211 on average, below the US figure of $106,841. Marketing consulting paid $92,206, above the US figure of $83,009.

Census business counts skip firms with no payroll. SBA data for 2022 count 1,051,630 small businesses in New Jersey, and 856,771 had no employees, a group that includes solo consultants and freelancers.

Some directory rankings mix choice with payment. Gappsy says its New Jersey Top 25 “combines agencies selected by our editors with agencies that pay for a Featured placement”.

What a New Jersey agency or hire costs

One of the five agency sites on page one shows a monthly price. AB Marketing Group lists three tiers on its fractional CMO page: $3,500, $5,000 and $6,500 a month. Each starts with a 90-day foundation and runs month to month after that. Its homepage also says it is “Not a Fit If… You’re comparing us to $500/month agencies”, and its first month is “strategy and infrastructure”. Smart Marketing advertises “NO CONTRACT.” and asks buyers to call about its packages. MediaScher, Kraus Marketing and Adapting Social post no price on the pages we read.

At the specialist median, a New Jersey hire costs about $7,349 a month in salary alone. A Growigami process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month, and $1,999 a month after that. Two processes come to $3,998 a month from the second month.

Pricing an SEO company in New Jersey

“seo company new jersey” draws about 400 searches a month in Ahrefs’ US estimate, more than “marketing agency new jersey” at 250. None of the five sites above posts a price for SEO alone. AB Marketing Group’s SEO page puts New Jersey SEO at $1,500 to $10,000 a month. Our Search process costs $1,999 a month for 200 pages, and 500 pages a month costs $1,499 more.

Who buys from New Jersey firms

Fortune 500 companies are one large group of buyers. The New Jersey Department of Labor counts 8,700 New Jersey establishments belonging to Fortune 500 companies in the first quarter of 2024. They employed 409,400 people, 11 percent of the state’s private-sector jobs.

Freight is another. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey reports 5,955,798 loaded TEUs in 2025, 2.8 percent more than in 2024, which makes it the second-busiest US port for loaded containers.

Exporters are many and mostly small. The SBA counts 19,049 firms that exported goods from New Jersey in 2023, worth $40.1 billion, and 17,318 of them, 90.9 percent, were small. A firm that sells to named accounts like these is the case our account-based marketing page covers.

When a New Jersey agency is the better buy

  • You want people in the room. Strategy days in your office and shoots at your site need someone nearby. Growigami films over a short call and adds a marketer at your booth for $2,499 an event, plus travel.
  • You want no contract at all. Smart Marketing’s homepage says “NO CONTRACT.” Ours is three months, then 30 days' notice.
  • Your work leans on local press and events. A firm with years of New Jersey media contacts starts ahead on placements Growigami does not have.
  • You want one marketer on payroll. At the $88,190 specialist median, that person works only for you. Part-time senior help is what a fractional CMO offers.

Growigami has no page for any New Jersey city and no office in one. A firm in Newark, Camden or Atlantic City that wants to meet its agency in person should choose one within driving distance. One that wants the weekly work done at a published price can start with a single process.

Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.

Questions

Before you sign with a marketing agency in New Jersey

How much does it cost to pay a marketing agency in New Jersey?

Of the five NJ agency sites on page one, only AB Marketing Group posts a price: tiers of $3,500, $5,000 and $6,500 a month on its fractional CMO page. It also says it is not a fit for buyers comparing it with $500 a month agencies. The other four post no price on the pages we read. Growigami's price is public: $1,999 a month per process, and $3,498 with a monthly CRO review included.

What are some good digital marketing agencies in New Jersey?

Page one for marketing agency new jersey shows MediaScher in Old Bridge, AB Marketing Group in Parsippany, Kraus Marketing in Morristown, Smart Marketing in Tinton Falls and Adapting Social in Manasquan. Gappsy's Top 25 list mixes editors' picks with paid Featured placements. Ask each firm for a written price and term, and for the names of the people on your account.

Is it worth it to hire a marketing agency?

It is when the agency costs less than the people you would otherwise hire and the work gets done every week. In New Jersey that bar is high: BLS put the median marketing specialist at $88,190 a year in May 2025. One Growigami process costs $1,999 a month, with 30 days' notice to leave once three months are up.

How soon does the first process start?

Within a week of CRM read access you see our plan for the first process, and it usually runs in about three weeks. AB Marketing Group describes its own first month as strategy and infrastructure before launch, so it is worth asking every firm you talk to the same question.

Who approves what goes out?

Your team does, piece by piece. You approve every page, ad and message before it goes out, and your sellers send outreach from your domains once they have checked it. Who approves which pieces is settled with your CRO in the first calls.

Do you have an office in New Jersey?

No. Growigami has no office or staff in New Jersey, while every agency homepage on page one names a base in the state. Your CRO works with your team on video, and the work is visible in your CRM. If you want an agency you can visit, pick one of the NJ firms above.
