The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

On Google’s first page for “marketing agency ohio”, none of the three agency homepages we could read lists that fee. Near Columbus, Kow Abundant posts SEO at $899 a month. Innis Maggiore in Canton cites the 4A’s figure of about three years for the average agency-client relationship and says its own client relationships run well over ten. What does an SEO company in Ohio charge?

Kow Abundant’s $899 a month is the one posted SEO price we found on the Ohio agency pages we read, and its Google Ads management is $599 a month plus ad spend. Growigami’s Search process costs $1,999 a month for up to 200 pages, and the 500-page size adds $1,499 a month.

What Growigami runs for a mid-size Ohio employer

The weekly drafting is done by AI agents, on the processes you pick. Your CRO, who has led marketing and sales teams, sets up each process with your staff first and checks it against your CRM numbers. Your people keep the conversations: sales calls, the replies that come back and the jobs themselves.

At the first size, every process listed here costs $1,999 a month:

  • Outbound (Pipeline): each month the agents research 500 accounts you want to sell to and draft one message per contact there. Your salesperson reads every draft before sending it from their own inbox. Replies go back to that salesperson on the day they arrive.
  • Search: 200 new pages a month at the base size and 500 at the larger one. Each targets a Google ranking and a citation in ChatGPT or Perplexity answers.
  • Paid ads (Paid and creative): campaigns on any two of Google, LinkedIn, Meta and YouTube, managing as much as $25,000 a month of spend. The process builds two fresh landing pages a month at most and handles Google Local Services Ads and Business Profile upkeep.
  • Inbound lead follow-up: as many as 300 leads a month get researched and matched to the person who should answer. Each one arrives with a draft reply, including the ones that come in at night.

Reviews with your CRO are an optional extra, priced at $1,499 a month for one session a month and $2,999 for one a week. Firms that skip them set direction themselves while we keep the processes running.

Which sectors define Ohio’s employer base?

Ohio had 255,049 employer establishments in the 2023 County Business Patterns, a count of sites with paid staff. Per 100,000 residents the state has 2,164, about 13 percent below the national 2,497. Ohio’s sites are bigger: 19.9 employees each in mid-March 2023, where the national figure is 16.7. Average annual pay was $59,539, about 87 percent of the US figure of $68,342.

The rows below are the sectors we write for where Ohio stands out. Manufacturing has the highest concentration and the most employees. The next five rank seventh or eighth among the 50 states and DC by establishment count. Two more show large employment, and the last two count the state’s marketing firms. Share of jobs vs US divides a sector’s share of Ohio jobs by its share of US jobs.

Ohio’s 689,133 manufacturing employees put it third among the states, behind California and Texas, and JobsOhio gives the same rank on its homepage. Manufacturing is 13.6 percent of Ohio’s employer jobs. Owners of the state’s 13,307 manufacturing establishments can read how we run the work on our manufacturing marketing page. USTR counts $56.5 billion in Ohio goods exports in 2025, led by $18.8 billion in transportation equipment. It also counts 14,927 companies that exported from Ohio locations in 2024, and 13,045 of them, 87 percent, had fewer than 500 employees.

Ohio’s 873 new car dealers employ 44,630 people, 1.09 times the US share, and rank seventh by count (auto dealer marketing). The 1,199 veterinary establishments also rank seventh and run at 1.04 times (veterinary marketing). Ohio’s 908 roofing contractors rank seventh too, and their average pay of $76,153 is $5,601 above the US average for the trade (roofing marketing).

The 3,814 dental offices rank eighth and employ 33,003 people (dental marketing). Investment advice is the widest pay gap in the table: Ohio’s 788 advisory establishments pay $100,716 on average, $67,104 below the US figure (financial advisor marketing).

How Ohio’s eight largest metro areas compare

The Census file lists 15 metro areas in Ohio. Cleveland and Columbus, which sit wholly inside the state, hold 97,869 of its 255,049 establishments, about 38 percent. The Cincinnati metro reaches into Kentucky and Indiana, so its row counts those counties too.

Cleveland has the most establishments, 5,031 more than Columbus, and the highest average pay of the eight, $16,701 above Youngstown-Warren. Columbus has 13,972 more employees than Cleveland on fewer establishments, at 21.2 employees each against 18.9. The Cincinnati metro counts the most employees of all, 1,030,698. Dayton and Akron are 12 establishments apart.

The search results tilt another way. Of the eight organic results for “marketing agency ohio” in Ahrefs’ 27 October 2026 check, four are Columbus-area firms or lists: Two Wheels, Pizzazz, YeS! Creative and AgencyList’s Columbus page. None is in Cleveland.

How many marketing agencies does Ohio have?

The Census counted 429 advertising agency establishments in Ohio in 2023, seventh among the states and DC, and 1,058 marketing consulting establishments. Together that is 1,487 establishments with 14,890 employees. Ohio has 3.1 percent of US employer establishments, 2.8 percent of US advertising agencies and 2.0 percent of US marketing consulting establishments.

Advertising agencies hold 0.60 times their US share of Ohio jobs, and marketing consulting 0.92 times. Pay is below the national figures in both: $82,317 at Ohio advertising agencies against $106,841, and $70,292 in marketing consulting against $83,009. These counts leave out people who market on their own with no employees.

Does your marketing agency need an Ohio address?

It needs one when the work needs a person on site. That means shoots at your plant, a booth at a trade show you attend or a weekly meeting in your conference room. The same goes for PR with Ohio trade and business press; Innis Maggiore lists public relations among its services.

Pages, ads, outreach and lead replies are done on a screen, so the people doing them can sit anywhere. The knowledge that makes them specific to Ohio comes from your staff: which counties you cover, which buyers you call on, what customers ask on the phone. Your CRO collects that on video calls before the first draft.

When a local Ohio agency or a staff hire fits better

  • Someone has to be at your site often. Plant tours, product shoots and booth staffing go better with a team that can drive over. We record video interviews remotely, and we send a marketer to a trade show only as a $2,499 add-on per event, plus travel.
  • The budget is below $1,999 a month. Kow Abundant lists Google Ads management at $599 a month and SEO at $899, and asks for no contract. Each Growigami process carries a three months minimum.
  • You sell a consumer brand or need PR first. Innis Maggiore lists brand positioning, creative and PR, and Falls & Co in Cleveland works across advertising and corporate communications. Growigami’s processes are written for companies that sell to other businesses and for professional and home-service firms.
  • The job is leading a marketing team. That calls for a hire (Ohio median: $132,330) or a fractional CMO for part of the week.

Pick Growigami for weekly search, ads, outreach or lead follow-up with the price printed before the first call.

Questions

Questions Ohio firms ask a marketing agency

How much does a marketing agency cost in Ohio?

None of the three agency homepages on Google's first page lists a price. Kow Abundant in Upper Arlington posts its own: SEO at $899 a month and Google Ads management at $599 plus ad spend, with no contracts. A Growigami process is $1,999 a month. Ad spend is paid at cost.

Which Ohio marketing agency is best?

The one whose people will work on your account and can show results in your sector. Directory lists reach past the state: GoodFirms shows 57 agencies under Ohio, and its own descriptions place some of them in San Antonio, New York City or Canada. Ask each firm on your shortlist for its price, its term and the names of the people doing the weekly work, in writing.

Is hiring an Ohio marketer cheaper than an agency?

A hire suits a firm that wants one person in the building every day. BLS put the Ohio median at $72,790 a year for a marketing specialist, about $6,066 a month before benefits, and $132,330 for a manager in May 2025. One Growigami process is $1,999 a month, or $3,498 with a monthly CRO review.

What does an SEO company in Ohio do?

It gets a firm found when Ohio buyers search for what it sells, on Google, in the map pack and in AI answers. Our Search process publishes 200 pages a month at the base size and 500 at the larger size, each written from your team's answers. Map listings and Business Profile work sit in the Paid process.

How long until the marketing shows results?

Growigami commits to setup dates and to no number of leads or rankings, which turn on your market and your site. You see the first process we would build within a week of CRM access. It usually runs about three weeks later, and from then on your CRM shows what each week produced.

Can I see an ad or a page before it goes live?

Yes. You approve each page and every ad before it runs. Your salesperson reads each outbound message, then sends it.

Does Growigami have an office in Ohio?

No. Growigami has no Ohio office or staff, and the work is done remotely. Setup happens on video calls, and each week's output is in your CRM. Firms on the monthly CRO review can also reach their CRO in Slack. A firm that wants someone on site each week is better served by an Ohio agency.
