Oregon marketing with the price up front

The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

An Oregon marketing agency takes over a firm’s search, advertising, social posts and site work for a monthly fee. Three of the six agencies on the first results page for “marketing agency oregon” post prices on their own sites, from $500 a month for Thrive’s small-business SEO to $2,000 and up at Sproutbox (read 5 November 2026). Growigami offers a remote alternative, priced per process from $1,999 a month.

Nobody from Growigami works in Oregon, and we keep no office here. Setup happens over video calls and the output lands in your CRM, the same way in Salem as in Portland.

What do marketing agencies in Oregon charge?

Half of the page-one agencies publish prices somewhere on their sites. Sproutbox’s pricing page starts its ongoing services at $2,000 a month, with national SEO from $3,000 and websites from $5,000. Thrive’s SEO pricing page puts small-business SEO at $500 a month and up, and the contact form on its Portland page offers budget bands from under $750 to over $100,000. Oregon Marketing Group lists website-led packages at $3,500, $5,000 and $10,000. Theo writes that it avoids commission-based arrangements, and LocalFresh says it accounts for time “down to the 10 minute mark”. Neither gives a figure, and Thesis posts none.

Agency rows were read on 5 November 2026. The Oregon specialist median sits $390 above the national median of $78,760, and the manager median sits $5,230 below the national $166,790.

A process is $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. Pair search with inbound lead follow-up and the two come to $3,998 a month once the first month is over. Ad spend is billed at cost.

How much do Oregon SEO firms ask for?

Semrush’s directory of Portland SEO firms lists 14 agencies, and 12 of them show a budget per project. Seven start at $1,000, two at $2,500 and two at $5,000, while one starts at $25,000 or more. The Search process here is $1,999 a month at 200 pages, and stepping up to 500 pages adds $1,499 a month. Your staff supply the answers on short calls, and those answers become the pages.

Does an Oregon firm’s marketing agency have to be in Oregon?

The page-one agencies sell nearness. Sproutbox promises “Real people you can meet for coffee” and says every person on an account is in-house. Theo answers its own FAQ question, “Will we actually talk to the people doing the work?”, with a yes. Five of the six agency pages give a Portland address or call Portland home, though Thrive’s is one of the firm’s many city pages. Oregon Marketing Group lists Jefferson.

None of those pages is written for a firm in Medford, Bend or Eugene. Pages, ad campaigns and replies to inbound leads come out the same wherever they are made. What they draw on is your CRM, your website and what your staff say on a call. A shoot at your job site or a seat at your Monday meeting is different, and that is where a Portland agency is worth the drive.

What Growigami runs for Oregon trades and B2B sellers

Our agents carry the repeat work of each process you buy, week in and week out. Your CRO comes from running sales and marketing teams; they set up each process with your staff and judge it on what your CRM shows. Your people keep the parts only they can do: taking the calls, quoting the jobs and sending outreach from their own inboxes.

Each process is bought on its own:

  • Search: your site gains 200 pages a month (500 at the larger size). Every page takes one question a buyer asks and answers it in your staff’s words, aimed at Google results and at the sources ChatGPT and Perplexity quote.
  • Paid and creative: ad budgets of up to $25,000 a month across any two of Google, LinkedIn, Meta and YouTube. Up to two new landing pages a month are built for those campaigns, and Local Services Ads and your Business Profile are part of it.
  • Inbound lead follow-up: as many as 300 inbound leads a month are looked up and passed to whoever on your staff should take them. Each arrives with a draft reply, and a lead left sitting gets flagged back to your office.
  • Pipeline: for firms that sell to a known list, 500 accounts researched a month and a separate message drafted for every contact.

You can add a standing review with your CRO: $1,499 a month for one session a month, or $2,999 for one a week. Skip it, and your own team sets the priorities while the processes carry on.

Which Oregon sectors run above the US share of jobs?

We picked these rows for what they show about Oregon. The first six rows are the six sectors we serve with the highest concentration in Oregon. Manufacturing is the largest by employment, software publishers rank 14th of the 50 states and DC by count, and computer systems design sits furthest below its US share. The final pair counts Oregon’s own marketing firms, and the last column divides each sector’s share of Oregon jobs by its share of US jobs.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

Oregon’s 1,697,911 employees in the week of March 12 earned an average of $64,724, which is $3,618 under the US average. Of the state’s establishments, 24.7 percent had 10 to 99 employees, almost level with 24.6 percent nationally, while 73.4 percent had fewer than 10.

The building trades stand out first. Oregon’s 515 roofing contractor establishments hold 1.84 times the US share of jobs and rank 16th of the 50 states and DC by count. Our roofing marketing page is written for those contractors. The state’s 2,263 residential remodelers run at 1.56 times, and our general contractor marketing page covers them.

Practices are the next group. The 1,913 dental offices employ 15,999 people and pay $65,155 on average, above $60,718 for US dental offices (dental marketing). Veterinary services count 560 establishments at 1.42 times the US share of jobs (veterinary marketing). No sector in the table is more concentrated than the 743 chiropractic offices, at 1.90 times (chiropractor marketing).

Manufacturing is the largest sector by employment, with 175,491 people across 5,231 establishments, and it pays $77,985 against $73,202 for the US (manufacturing marketing). USTR puts Oregon’s 2025 goods exports at $27.9 billion, of which computer and electronic products made up $11.3 billion. It counts 5,372 companies that exported from Oregon locations in 2024, and 87 percent of them had fewer than 500 employees. In company filings with the SEC, Nike gives its business address in Beaverton, Columbia Sportswear in Portland and Lattice Semiconductor in Hillsboro.

Managed IT providers file under computer systems design in the Census, and that group runs the other way: 1,425 establishments at 0.47 times the US share of jobs (MSP marketing).

Oregon’s eight metro areas, from Portland to Grants Pass

The Census file places eight metro areas in Oregon. Portland’s area crosses the Columbia River into Clark and Skamania counties in Washington. Its counts include those Washington employers, so they are not a share of Oregon.

Metro areaEmployer establishmentsEmployeesAverage annual pay
Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro, OR-WA72,9431,111,602$72,656
Salem10,763133,058$51,241
Eugene-Springfield10,151129,060$53,045
Bend9,66389,011$56,998
Medford6,58979,766$54,506
Albany2,84637,099$53,989
Corvallis2,20028,030$58,188
Grants Pass2,11023,608$46,342

These eight rows come from the metropolitan file of County Business Patterns 2023; we divided each area’s payroll by its employees to get the pay column.

Salem and Eugene-Springfield are close in size, at about 10,000 establishments each, and Eugene pays $1,804 more on average. Bend is the outlier on size: its establishments average 9.2 employees, the fewest of the eight, against 15.2 in the Portland area. Corvallis pays the most outside Portland, $58,188, and Grants Pass the least, $46,342.

Exports sort the metros another way. USTR’s 2024 figures give Albany $734.7 million in goods exports, more than Eugene-Springfield at $561.8 million and Salem at $390.5 million, from under a third as many establishments as Eugene.

Oregon’s ad agencies and marketing consultants, counted

The Census counted 240 advertising agency establishments and 752 marketing consulting establishments in Oregon in 2023, 992 in all, with 6,509 employees between them. Measured against the national totals, Oregon has 1.46 percent of all employer establishments. Its slice of advertising agencies is 1.55 percent, and of marketing consulting establishments 1.44 percent.

Pay in both runs above the national figure for the industry. Oregon’s advertising agencies paid an average of $111,644 against $106,841, and its marketing consultants $94,777 against $83,009. Advertising agencies hold 0.93 times the US share of jobs and marketing consulting 1.11 times.

A freelancer with no staff never shows up in these figures, since the Census survey behind them counts only establishments with a payroll. For scale, the SBA’s 2025 Oregon profile finds 417,747 small businesses in 2022, and 320,778 of those employed nobody.

When an Oregon agency you can visit is the better buy

  • The work happens at your site. A crew that can drive to your shop, clinic or plant will shoot better footage of it. Our Video process films people on a short call, three videos a month at the base size.
  • You need a smaller monthly spend or no minimum term. Thrive’s SEO pricing page starts small-business SEO at $500 a month on month-to-month contracts. Each of our processes runs three months at least.
  • You need brand campaigns, film and photography. Thesis describes itself as an independent creative agency doing that work. We build for companies selling to other businesses, plus professional practices and home-service trades.
  • You want one marketer in the building. The Oregon median for a marketing manager was $161,560 in May 2025. A fractional CMO gives you part of that person’s time for a share of the cost.

If what you need is search, ads, lead replies or outreach done weekly at a price you can read before calling, from anywhere in Oregon, start with us.

Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.

Questions

Questions Oregon firms ask a marketing agency

Is it worth it to hire a marketing agency?

Yes, if the monthly fee buys more than the work it replaces and you can see the output. An Oregon marketing specialist earned a median $79,150 in May 2025, about $6,600 a month before benefits. A single Growigami process is $1,999 a month, and what it produced sits in your CRM every week.

What are some of the best marketing agencies in Portland?

We do not rank other agencies. Clutch's Oregon advertising list ranks on the first results page, and Clutch says it can earn a fee for some placements. Ask each agency on your shortlist for its monthly price, its term and the names of the people who would do your work, in writing.

What are the big 5 marketing agencies?

The phrase usually means the largest global advertising holding companies, which own the network agencies behind national brand campaigns. For an Oregon firm with 10 to 99 employees, the real choice is a smaller agency, a hire or a process like ours. Theo, on the first results page, says it builds for companies already at enterprise scale or determined to get there.

Does it matter where in Oregon my firm is?

No. Setup runs over video and inside your CRM, so a clinic in Medford starts the same way as a manufacturer in Hillsboro. Search pages and ads can target the counties and towns you serve, from Astoria to Klamath Falls.

Who would I work with, and where are they?

Your CRO, on video calls, plus our agents and team, all working remotely. Nobody from Growigami is based in Oregon. Add the monthly CRO review, at $1,499 a month, and you get a session each month on your numbers, with Slack access to your CRO in between.

How long is the commitment?

three months to start; after that, 30 days' notice ends it. Among the page-one agencies, Thrive's SEO pricing page offers month-to-month contracts, and Sproutbox's FAQ says it typically asks for a 3-month minimum, then works month to month. The other four state no term on the pages we read. A process is $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month.

Do I get to look at pages and ads first?

Yes. You approve each page and every ad before it goes out. Outreach is reviewed and sent by your own seller, from their own mailbox.
