A Sacramento contractor or practice can pay an SEO agency a retainer, or buy software and find the hours to run it. Growigami offers a third path: your CRO sets each process up once, then we run it every week from $1,999 a month.

A Growigami Search process puts up 200 pages a month for $1,999. The 500-page size costs $1,499 more. A process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. For scale, AdInfusion’s plans list 10 pages to start.
Do Sacramento agencies on page one work locally?
One of the five prints a Sacramento street address. InnoVision gives a K Street office and a second one in Petaluma. Cosmoforge says it is located in Sacramento but prints no street address on its location page. HYF Technologies ranks sixth with a page whose title names San Francisco. Thrive’s page gives a toll-free number.
For most of the work, distance does not change much. A page about AC repair in Elk Grove is written from what your techs already tell customers, and your CRO gets that on a call. A local agency is worth the drive when you want photos at your jobs or someone at your door.
What Census data shows for the four-county metro
The Sacramento-Roseville-Folsom metro is four counties: El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo. Census metros are built from whole counties: at minimum one urban area of 50,000-plus residents, and outlying counties that pass a commuting test. Our California page compares the metro with the rest of the state.
In 2023 the four counties held 55,974 employer establishments, 5.4 percent of the state’s, with 825,511 people on payroll the week of March 12. Pay averaged $69,181. That is $839 above the US average and $17,938 below California’s. A larger share of establishments here are mid-sized: 25.3 percent have 10 to 99 employees, against 23.0 percent statewide and 24.6 percent nationally.
The table shows the ten sectors, of the 20 in Growigami’s data set, that run furthest above the US share of jobs, then the two marketing industries, which run below it. In the last column, 1.50x means a sector’s slice of local jobs is half again its slice nationally.

The trades and practices behind local searches
The metro’s 807 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors have 10,783 people on staff, paid $81,776 on average (HVAC marketing). Its 269 roofing contractors pay $77,883 on average, against $70,552 nationally (roofing marketing). The 757 landscaping establishments employ 8,898 people (landscaping marketing). The 121 pest control establishments run at the highest concentration in the table (pest control marketing).
Practices are dense too. The 1,238 dental offices run at 1.51 times the national level (dental marketing), and the 260 veterinary practices employ 4,152 people (veterinary marketing).
One job in four is in government
County Business Patterns leaves out most government workers, and in Sacramento that is a large gap. BLS counts an average of 267,000 government jobs in the metro in 2025, out of 1,101,200 nonfarm jobs, or 24.2 percent. State government alone accounts for 141,500 of them, 12.8 percent of all jobs, against 3.5 percent nationally. Goods exports from the metro came to $6.7 billion in 2024, according to USTR.
The local agency base
The metro has 86 advertising agency establishments, at 0.39 times their national weight in jobs, and 364 marketing consulting establishments at 0.74 times. Advertising agencies here pay $75,758 on average, against $106,841 nationally. Marketing consulting pays $78,959, against $83,009.
What Growigami runs for Sacramento trades and practices
Each week, AI agents write the pages, ads and lead replies for the processes you picked and put them out on the timetable agreed at setup. The CRO who sets up and proves each process works with you over the first few weeks, then checks it against what your CRM shows. Your team does what only it can do: answering the phone, quoting and doing the jobs.

Prices are per process: $1,999 a month at the first size.
Search (Search): two hundred pages a month (500 on the larger size), one per service, town or customer question. Each aims for a Google ranking and a mention in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers.
Paid ads and Maps (Paid and creative): your Local Services Ads and Business Profile, and Google or Meta campaigns with as much as $25,000 a month of spend at cost. AI agents write the ads. Each week spend moves toward the campaigns your CRM shows bringing calls.
Lead follow-up: up to 300 web inquiries a month, each looked up and sent to the right person with a reply drafted, at any hour. A lead nobody has touched goes back to your office before it goes cold.
Adding a CRO review is optional: $1,499 a month for monthly sessions, $2,999 for weekly ones. Skip it, and you set direction while we keep everything running.
When a Sacramento agency down the street fits better
You want someone at your door. InnoVision lists an office at 717 K Street. Photos at your jobs and a sit-down meeting each week favor an agency nearby.
You want one bill for everything. Our processes are billed one by one, and a new website is its own one-time $7,499 project.
You want a marketer on staff. The metro’s median marketing specialist earned $78,630 a year in May 2025, $130 below the US median.
Growigami suits a Sacramento-area business that wants its search, ads and lead replies handled every week at a price it can see before the first call.
Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
Questions
Sacramento SEO questions from owners and managers
What does a Sacramento SEO company do?
It gets your business found when people in the Sacramento area search for what you do, whether on Google, on the map or by asking an AI assistant. That means a page for each service and town and a well-kept Business Profile. Growigami splits it in two: Search, at 200 pages a month, and Paid, which runs Local Services Ads and your Business Profile.
How much does SEO cost in Sacramento?
Of the five agency pages in the organic results, AdInfusion's is the only one with a price list: local SEO plans at $999, $1,400 and $2,900 a month. Each plan lists 10 pages of initial content and three content assets a quarter. The other four agency pages we read post no price. Ours costs $1,999 a month and covers 200 pages.
Is SEO dead now with AI?
Search has not gone away. In November 2026 Ahrefs still counts 600 US searches a month for sacramento seo and another 600 for marketing agency sacramento. What changed is that AI assistants now answer some questions too. Our pages aim at both, Google rankings and citations in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers. Each month we check which answers name you.
Which SEO agency is the best in California?
There is no neutral ranking to point to. Directories sort by their own rules: RevenueBase ranks the 38 SEO agencies it ties to Sacramento by the number of professionals it tracks at each (data of 24 September 2026). Ask every agency you talk to for its monthly price, its contract length and the number of pages you get, in writing.
Will I get to see ads first?
Yes, whenever you want to. Any ad or page can wait for your OK before it goes live, and you can see each one in advance. You pay ad spend at cost, at a budget you choose, up to $25,000 a month on the base size.
Can Growigami help a firm that sells to state agencies?
For the marketing side, yes. Outbound looks up 500 named accounts every month and writes a note to each contact, which suits a seller with a defined list of departments or contractors. We do not advise on state procurement rules, bidding or certifications.
Does Growigami have an office in Sacramento?
No. Nobody from Growigami works in the Sacramento area, and we name no local clients. Your CRO meets you over video, and you read the results in your CRM. For a face-to-face agency, InnoVision lists an office at 717 K Street downtown.
