How much does an SEO company in San Antonio cost?

Two page-one SEO companies print a figure: Thrive starts at $500 a month, and MAK lists packages up to $6,000 a month. Thrive’s San Antonio page says its SEO starts at $500 a month on a month-to-month contract, and its pricing page runs from $500 to $10,000+. MAK Digital Design’s package pages list local SEO at $1,500 to $5,500 a month and eCommerce SEO at $2,000 to $6,000.

Three of the other four quote per client. JCE SEO’s homepage FAQ answers the cost question with a free consultation and a custom quote. Funnel Boost Media’s pricing page asks itself “Why don’t you publish a price list?”, then describes a custom fixed-price proposal and an onboarding fee. Impressive Digital sets performance-based fees against a target agreed with the client.

DM Thrive Agency’s package tabs render empty. Its FAQ puts San Antonio SEO at $2,000 to $7,000 a month and gives no source for the range.

Positions come from Ahrefs’ US snapshot dated 25 October 2026, under a map pack of Citywide SEO, Funnel Boost Media and FOG Digital Marketing. We read each page, and the pricing, package and FAQ pages it links to, on 6 November 2026. JCE SEO’s FAQ page refused our reader, so its row uses its homepage, which carries an FAQ and its term line.

The two directories on page one, DesignRush (8) and 50Pros (10), show hourly rates and minimum budgets beside some listings. DesignRush shows an hourly rate beside 38 of its 55 listings and a minimum budget beside 45. 50Pros shows both beside one of its four, JCE SEO, at $150 to $250 an hour with a $10,000 minimum, a figure JCE’s own homepage does not give. at $150 to $250 an hour with a $10,000 minimum, a figure JCE’s own homepage does not give.

At Growigami a process starts at $1,999 a month and costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. Search at 500 pages a month adds $1,499. Search and inquiry follow-up together cost $3,998 a month from month two; our price list has every figure.

What does an SEO company do for a San Antonio firm?

It finds what local customers type, then fixes and writes pages so Google and AI assistants show the business for those searches. Funnel Boost Media’s FAQ describes the job as a plan to optimize the website, build local citations and increase authority. Thrive lists keyword research, link building, content, on-page, local, technical and AI SEO. MAK is the only one of the six that counts its monthly output, in words and links.

At the base size, Search publishes 200 pages a month. Each starts from a question buyers ask and what your team already knows, and the same pages are built to rank on Google. Each month we put your customers’ questions to the AI assistants they use and show you which answers name you and which name a competitor.

Google Business Profile work and Local Services Ads sit in a separate process, Paid and creative, where AI agents draft the ads. A San Antonio firm that wants the map as well as the search results runs both processes.

Does Google penalize 200 pages a month?

The scaled content abuse policy names no page count. It turns on what each page does for a reader. Google’s spam policies, last updated 28 August 2026, define scaled content abuse as many pages generated mainly to manipulate rankings and not to help users. That holds no matter how the pages are created. One example they list is “using generative AI tools or other similar tools to generate many pages without adding value for users”. The same page says sites that violate the policies can rank lower or drop out of results. Each Search page is drafted from a question buyers ask and what your team already knows, and you approve each page before it goes out.

Does a San Antonio firm need a local SEO company?

Only when the work needs someone in the room. Three of the six SEO companies on page one give a San Antonio street address, and Funnel Boost Media says its team is from San Antonio. The other three rank without one.

MAK’s footer gives an address in New Jersey, and an “Our office” block on its San Antonio page gives one in Houston. Impressive Digital’s San Antonio page offers a strategy from “Austin’s best Marketing Agency”. DM Thrive Agency lists no address on its page.

Keyword research, page writing and publishing happen on a screen, and they run the same from anywhere. What a remote firm lacks is what your staff carries: the parts of town you serve and the questions customers ask at the counter. Your CRO collects that on calls during setup.

Which industries anchor San Antonio’s employer base?

County Business Patterns counts the San Antonio-New Braunfels metro as eight counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina and Wilson. Census metro areas are made of whole counties. Each has a central county around an urban area of 50,000 or more people, joined by outlying counties with enough commuting to or from it.

The metro counted 52,088 employer establishments and 980,355 employees in the week of March 12, 2023, 30th and 33rd among 387 US metros. That is 7.8 percent of the Texas establishment count. At $57,038, average pay ranked 139th, under both Texas ($67,014) and the US ($68,342). Of its establishments, 27.0 percent have 10 to 99 employees, against 26.0 in Texas and 24.6 nationally.

The first six rows are the sectors we write for that are most concentrated in the metro, each above the US share of jobs. Offices of lawyers and manufacturing follow: manufacturing is the largest of those sectors by count and by employment, and law offices are the second largest by count. The last three are the professional services total and the two marketing rows. Concentration is the sector’s share of local jobs over its share of US jobs.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

Only locations with a payroll are counted, which leaves out sole owners and most public employees.

Dealers, contractors and practices

The metro’s 136 new car dealers employ 10,738 people, 1.35 times the US share of jobs, and pay $84,917 on average (auto dealer marketing). Its 1,017 insurance agencies and brokerages rank 25th among metros by count (insurance agency marketing). The 180 chiropractic offices pay $60,551 on average, above the US figure of $40,336 (chiropractor marketing). For law, 1,188 offices employ 7,317 people (law firm marketing).

The bases, the port and the plants

The Texas Comptroller counts 74,713 direct employees at Joint Base San Antonio in 2025, 33,256 of them active-duty. Port San Antonio says more than 80 tenant customers employ 19,000 people across Tech Port, on a homepage that gives no year. The metro’s 1,333 manufacturing establishments employ 54,612 people (manufacturing marketing). By USTR’s count, the metro’s 2024 goods exports came to $11.9 billion.

The Greater SATX Regional Economic Partnership lists 1.4K target sector firms for the San Antonio region’s cybersecurity and IT industry. The figure has no year, and its region has nine counties, not the Census metro’s eight. For the metro, County Business Patterns counts 712 computer systems design establishments, with 8,934 employees (cybersecurity marketing). In SEC filings, Rackspace Technology lists a business address on US Highway 281 North in San Antonio.

Agency jobs run below the US share

The 84 advertising agency establishments hold 0.54 percent of the US count, against 0.62 percent of all US establishments. Their 392 employees average $62,217 a year, against $106,841 nationally. The 213 marketing consulting establishments employ 1,061 people at $46,193 on average, against $83,009.

What Growigami runs for San Antonio service firms

AI agents draft the week’s pages and ads on the processes you choose. Each goes out on a set schedule. Your CRO, who has run sales and marketing teams, sets up each process with your staff. Your people take the calls, the appointments and the jobs.

Search pages, 200 a month

Each page answers one thing a Bexar or Comal County customer asks before hiring a firm like yours. The base size is 200 pages a month, and the larger size is 500 for $1,499 more. Pages go out on a set schedule, and the monthly AI check shows which answers name you.

Business Profile, Maps and Local Services Ads

The Paid and creative process runs campaigns on up to $25,000 a month in ad spend across 2 channels, such as Google and Meta. It also runs Google Local Services Ads and your Business Profile work. AI agents draft the ads, and each campaign can get its own landing page, with up to two new ones built a month. Each week we read your CRM and move budget to the campaigns that book calls.

Inquiry follow-up at any hour

An inquiry that arrives at 9 p.m. is researched by morning and handed to the right person on your staff with a reply drafted, ready for them to check and send. Up to 300 a month are covered. Any lead nobody has touched is flagged back to your team before it cools. Add this process when search starts bringing inquiries that sit.

Your optional CRO review runs $1,499 a month for monthly sessions, $2,999 for weekly. The Texas page shows how San Antonio compares with the other big metros in the state.

When a local SEO company or hire is the better call

  • Billboards beside the search work. Funnel Boost Media sells billboard advertising in San Antonio alongside its SEO. Growigami’s price list has no outdoor process.
  • A link-building campaign. Thrive sells link building and digital PR outreach. MAK’s monthly packages list 2 to 10 backlinks. Growigami’s Search process lists pages and the monthly AI check, with no link building.
  • A trade show at home. The Brewers Association holds the 2027 Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America in San Antonio on April 5 to 7. A brewery supplier wanting staff at the booth all three days can book our on-site support at $2,499 plus travel. A local team is the other route.
  • A marketer at your office. The metro employed 4,140 market research analysts and marketing specialists in May 2025, BLS reports, at a median of $65,950.

Growigami fits a San Antonio firm that wants search pages published every month at a price it can read before the first call.

Questions

What San Antonio owners ask an SEO company

How much should I expect to pay for SEO in San Antonio?

Two first-page SEO companies post a figure: Thrive starts at $500 a month, and MAK lists packages up to $6,000. Thrive's pricing page runs from $500 to $10,000+, and MAK's packages run from $1,500 to $6,000. DM Thrive's FAQ puts the local range at $2,000 to $7,000. Growigami's Search process is $1,999 a month for 200 pages, and the larger size adds $1,499.

How long does SEO take to work?

Months, by the first page's own answers. Thrive's FAQ gives 3 to 12 months for substantial ranking gains. JCE SEO's gives 3 to 6 months for measurable improvements and 6 to 12 for significant ones. Growigami does not forecast rankings. What it states is the start: within a week of read access to your CRM you see the first process. That process is running about three weeks in.

Can the pages run in Spanish?

Yes. Growigami can run its processes in Spanish, search pages and ads included. On this results page, JCE SEO lists 'Se Habla Espanol' next to its phone number at the top of its homepage. As with any process, you approve each page and every ad before it goes out.

Is there a Growigami office in San Antonio?

No. Growigami has no office in the San Antonio metro and runs the work remotely, with setup on calls with your CRO. If you want to meet across a desk, three of the six SEO companies on this search's first page list a San Antonio street address.

How long is the commitment?

The minimum is three months, then 30 days' notice. Thrive says it works month-to-month, and MAK's local packages page offers month-to-month or quarterly. JCE SEO's homepage lists 12-month agreements with a 30-day out. Funnel Boost says most clients begin with a three to six-month plan. Pricing is $1,999 a month per process, and each costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month.

Will I see pages before they go live?

Yes. You approve each page and every ad before it goes out. Ad spend in the Paid process is paid at cost, up to $25,000 a month at the base size.

What does a marketing hire cost in San Antonio?

BLS put the May 2025 median at $65,950 a year for market research analysts and marketing specialists in the San Antonio-New Braunfels metro, and $131,800 for marketing managers. Both sit below the Texas medians of $72,520 and $147,880. BLS wages are gross pay and leave out the employer's cost of benefits.

How many SEO companies are in San Antonio?

It depends on who counts. 50Pros showed four SEO agencies for San Antonio on 6 November 2026, and the DesignRush page on the same results carried 55 listings, paid placements among them. County Business Patterns 2023 counts 84 advertising agency establishments and 213 marketing consulting establishments in the metro, leaving out owners who work alone. Neither count is limited to SEO.
