The line: one record per pallet, from the receiving dock to the outbound trailer.

Dockmere is cold chain compliance software for food warehouses. It reads the sensors a warehouse already has and keeps each corrective action on the same record as the reading, so an audit pulls one report.

  • Who it is for: directors of operations and QA leads at cold storage warehouses and food distributors with 2 to 20 buildings. ICP: 31 deals
  • What it is: software that logs every reading from the dock and the rooms, with each excursion and its fix on the pallet’s record. 14 of 22 calls
  • What it replaces: the clipboard by the dock door and the binder a QA lead builds the week before an audit. 11 calls
  • Why we win: setup is seamless because Dockmere reads the probes already installed. Why we win: setup takes a day per building because Dockmere reads the probes already installed, where sensor vendors start with new hardware. 9 calls, 3 sites

Searches for “marketing agency texas” return agency homepages, city pages and two directories, and the Texas prices they give run from $500 to over $10,000 a month. Growigami is a remote third option to an agency or a hire. Your CRO builds each marketing process, and we run it every week from $1,999 a month. It has no Texas office.

Does your marketing agency need to be in Texas?

It needs to be in Texas when your marketing depends on someone showing up. Miller Ad Agency’s FAQ argues that a Texas agency knows the local market in Dallas, Houston and Austin. Blackhawk’s homepage introduces its team under the heading “Real people, in Austin”. For a shoot at your job sites or a weekly meeting in your office, distance costs you.

The four processes below run on a screen: search pages, ads, outreach and the reply to each new lead. That work runs the same from Dallas or from anywhere else. Growigami’s team works remotely. You meet your CRO on video calls, and the weekly work shows up in your CRM.

A Texas firm that hands off marketing can choose an agency retainer or software its own staff runs. Growigami sits between the two. Your CRO, who has led marketing and sales teams, builds each process with your team. AI agents then do the weekly work on it, and you pay a posted monthly price for each process.

It fits a Texas firm with 10 to 99 employees, or a professional or home-service firm, that wants search, ads, outreach and lead follow-up run each week. It fits less well when the work needs a person in the room.

What Growigami runs for a Texas firm with 10 to 99 staff

Each week, AI agents do the repeat work on the processes you choose. Your CRO builds each process with your team in the first weeks and checks it against the numbers in your CRM. Your team keeps the sales calls, sends outreach from your domains and answers the leads that come in with a reply already drafted.

Each process starts at $1,999 a month at its first size:

  • Search (Search): up to 200 pages a month, or 500 on the larger size, built to rank on Google and to be cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity. Pages are drafted from what your team already knows.
  • Outbound (Pipeline): 500 target accounts researched a month, with a reason each would talk now and a message written for each contact. Your seller reviews each message and sends it. Replies reach that seller the same day.
  • Paid ads (Paid and creative): campaigns on two of Google, LinkedIn, Meta or YouTube, on up to $25,000 a month in ad spend. Up to two new landing pages come with it each month, and it also runs Google Local Services Ads and Business Profile work for home-service firms.
  • Inbound lead follow-up: up to 300 leads a month, each researched and sent to the right person with a first reply drafted, at any hour.

An optional CRO review goes through every process with you, monthly for $1,499 or weekly for $2,999. Without it, your team steers and we keep each process running.

Texas employers by sector: Census data for 2023

Texas had 670,878 employer establishments in 2023, meaning locations with at least one paid employee. That is 2,199 for every 100,000 residents, against 2,497 for the US. Texas has about 12 percent fewer per resident. Texas establishments are larger on average: 26.0 percent have 10 to 99 employees, against 24.6 percent nationally. The average Texas establishment had 17.9 employees in the week of March 12, against 16.7 for the US.

We chose the rows below by what the data shows. They are the five sectors we write for with the most Texas establishments and the five with the highest concentration against the US. The last two rows count Texas marketing firms. The last column compares each sector’s share of Texas jobs with its share of US jobs, where 1.00x is the same share.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).

Manufacturing is the largest of these by employment, and our manufacturing marketing page is written for its 21,034 Texas establishments. They employed 869,062 people, at an average of $77,487 against $73,202 for US manufacturing. USTR ranks Texas as the largest goods-exporting state in 2025, at $448.2 billion. It counts 38,616 companies that exported from Texas locations in 2024, and 92 percent of them were small and medium-sized.

Texas has 14,905 computer systems design establishments, the group that includes the managed IT providers our MSP marketing page is written for. That count puts Texas second among the 50 states and DC. Texas also has more large headquarters than any other state: the Office of the Governor counted 57 Fortune 500 headquarters on the 2026 list.

Electrical contractors show the highest concentration in the table, with 6,124 establishments and 99,988 employees at 1.15 times the US share (electrician marketing). Texas’s 12,210 insurance agencies and brokerages run at 1.12 times (insurance agency marketing). The 1,720 new car dealers employ 106,708 people, more than the state’s 13,833 law offices, and pay $85,825 on average against $79,300 nationally (auto dealer marketing, law firm marketing).

Texas has 1,302 software publishers, second among the states and DC by count. Their average pay of $162,682 sits $38,744 below the US figure (SaaS marketing).

How Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio differ

The Census file has 26 metro areas in Texas, and four of them have more than 50,000 employer establishments. Those four hold 470,162 of the state’s 670,878, about 70 percent. The eight largest:

Metro areaEmployer establishmentsEmployeesAverage annual pay
Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington189,7393,594,749$72,420

Corpus Christi9,852156,741$54,023
Lubbock8,844133,311$48,491

Metro rows: Census County Business Patterns 2023, metropolitan area file, with average pay worked out by Growigami from payroll and employees.

Dallas-Fort Worth has 27,684 more establishments than Houston. Its establishments average 18.95 employees, the most of the eight. Austin pays the most, $78,466 on average, which is $21,428 above San Antonio. McAllen-Edinburg-Mission pays the least of the eight, $36,895.

Exports rank the metros differently. USTR’s 2024 figures put Houston first at $181 billion in goods exports and Corpus Christi second at $75.6 billion, ahead of Dallas-Fort Worth at $51 billion. Corpus Christi has about 5 percent as many establishments as Dallas-Fort Worth. El Paso, on the Mexican border, recorded $41.3 billion.

How many marketing agencies are in Texas?

The Census counted 1,264 advertising agency establishments and 3,719 marketing consulting establishments in Texas in 2023. Together that is 4,983 establishments with 32,223 employees. Texas holds 8.0 percent of US employer establishments, 8.1 percent of US advertising agencies and 7.1 percent of US marketing consulting establishments.

Both sectors employ a smaller share of Texas workers than they do of US workers: 0.68 times the US share for advertising agencies and 0.75 for marketing consulting. Average pay is lower in both. Texas advertising agencies paid $93,676 against $106,841 nationally, and marketing consulting paid $66,079 against $83,009.

These counts leave out marketers who work alone, because County Business Patterns covers employer establishments only. The SBA’s 2025 profile counts 3,517,343 small businesses in Texas in 2022, and 3,023,525 of them had no employees.

Directories count another way. Semrush lists 74 agencies for Texas. On its first page, 35 profiles show a budget per project: 14 start at $5,000 or more, 10 at $2,500 and 11 below that. Several list more than one location, and two describe themselves by a home city outside Texas, Monterrey and Charleston. Ask any agency where the people on your account work.

Texas agency fees and in-house pay, side by side

Of the five agency pages we read on 5 November 2026, one posts its own price: Thrive’s Dallas page, with packages from $500 a month, month to month. Blackhawk posts no price, but its FAQ says engagements run on a 12-month term. Miller Ad Agency’s February 2026 guide gives ranges for Texas as a whole and lists Miller sixth among its own picks. It cites no source for those ranges.

Questions

Common questions about a marketing agency in Texas

How much does a marketing agency cost in Texas?

Where Texas agencies state a price, it runs from $500 to over $10,000 a month. Thrive's Dallas page lists packages from $500, month to month, and Miller Ad Agency's 2026 guide puts Texas retainers at $1,000 to over $10,000. Growigami prices each process from $1,999 a month, and you can leave with 30 days' notice after three months. Ad spend is paid at cost.

Should a Texas firm hire a marketer or outsource?

Hire when you need one person inside the business every day and can pay Texas rates. BLS put the median at $72,520 for a marketing specialist and $147,880 for a marketing manager in May 2025. Outsource when you need several channels run each week. One Growigami process starts at $1,999 a month, or $3,498 with a monthly CRO review.

How long before marketing shows results?

We do not forecast rankings, leads or revenue, because they depend on your market and your site. What we commit to is the start. Within a week of CRM access we show you the first process we would build, and it usually runs within about three weeks. You read what it produces in your CRM each week.

Which marketing service brings in the most leads?

The one that matches how your buyers find you. If they search, search pages and ads come first. If you sell to a short list of named accounts, such as Texas manufacturers or exporters, outbound comes first. If leads already arrive and wait, a fast reply to each one comes first. Growigami runs each as its own process, so you can start with one.

Can I see the work before it goes out?

Yes. You approve each page and every ad before it runs, and your seller reads each outreach message, then sends it.

Can a firm outside the four big Texas metros use Growigami?

Yes. The work is remote, so a firm in El Paso, Lubbock or McAllen starts the same way as one in Dallas. You give us CRM read access, see the first process within a week and have it running in about three weeks. Search pages and ads can be aimed at the Texas cities and counties you serve.

Is there a Growigami office in Texas?

No. Growigami works remotely and has no Texas office. You meet your CRO on video calls, and the weekly work shows up in your CRM. With the optional monthly CRO review, you can also ask your CRO questions in Slack between sessions. If you need someone at your site every week, a local Texas agency fits better.
