A Houston firm can buy search as an agency retainer or as software it runs itself. Growigami is a third option. Your CRO builds the process and we publish 200 pages a month, for $1,999 a month.

Positions are from Ahrefs’ snapshot of the US results page on 24 October 2026; prices and terms were read on each firm’s page on 5 November 2026.
Growigami’s Search process is $1,999 a month for 200 pages. A process costs $500 more in its first month while we build it, and your first build is on us this month. The larger size, 500 pages a month, costs $1,499 more. For scale, EWR’s Growth package at $3,000 a month or more lists four blog posts or articles a month. Every process is priced on our price list.
How to compare Houston SEO companies
Ask each firm the same questions and get the answers in writing:
The price for the work you need. Two of the seven agency pages post no monthly price.
The minimum term. EWR asks new clients for “either a $15K retainer or a 6-month commitment”. Thrive, Coalition Technologies and Loopex say month-to-month.
How many pages a month, and who writes them. EWR is the only one of the seven to list a monthly count: four posts or articles on its Growth package, six to eight on its top tier.
Who keeps the content and accounts if you leave. Actual SEO Media puts it on its own list of questions to ask an agency.
Whether they promise rankings. Mojo Dojo’s FAQ answers its own guarantee question with “No, and any agency that does is lying.”
What does Census data show about Houston employers?
County Business Patterns reports the Houston-Pasadena-The Woodlands metro area as ten counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto and Waller. The Office of Management and Budget draws metro areas from whole counties around an urban area of at least 50,000 people. Counties join when enough of their residents commute to or from the center.
The metro had 162,055 employer establishments and 2,863,143 employees in the week of March 12, 2023. That is about 24 percent of the establishments in Texas. Average pay was $75,206 a year, above both Texas at $67,014 and the US at $68,342. Of the metro’s establishments, 41,116 (25.4%) had 10 to 99 employees, against 26.0% in Texas and 24.6% nationally. Our Texas page covers the state’s other metros.
In the table, the first six rows are the energy, chemical, engineering and port sectors. There, Houston’s share of jobs runs from two to more than eight times the US share. The next four have the highest concentration in Houston of the 17 Growigami verticals we matched to a Census industry. The last two are the local agency base.

Source: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 (employer establishments; employees are for the week of March 12; average pay is annual payroll divided by employees, computed by Growigami).
Share of jobs vs US is the sector’s share of metro employees divided by its share of US employees. The counts cover employer establishments only, so owners with no staff and most government workers are left out.
Energy, the port and health care
Houston has more oil and gas extraction establishments than any other US metro area, and they pay an average of $270,498 against $192,410 nationally. Houston ranks third among metros by its 2,002 engineering services establishments, which employ 53,989 people. The Greater Houston Partnership counts 28 Fortune 500 headquarters in Houston, and its energy page lists 14 Fortune 500 energy headquarters. Port Houston says the Houston Ship Channel complex is the nation’s largest port for waterborne tonnage. The Texas Comptroller puts trade through Port Houston at $223.5 billion in 2024, 52 percent of all seaport trade through Texas.
For firms that sell into health care, the Texas Medical Center lists more than 120,000 employees and 10 million patient encounters a year.
The trades and practices behind the searches
These are the Houston sectors where Growigami already has a page on how the work runs:
Electrical contractors have the highest concentration of the trades we serve: 1,310 establishments and 1.29 times the US share of jobs (electrician marketing).
The metro’s 3,867 law offices pay an average of $140,513, against $125,580 nationally (law firm marketing).
Houston ranks sixth of 387 metros by its 3,400 dental offices (dental marketing).
1,909 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors employ 25,783 people (HVAC marketing).
317 new car dealers employ 25,350 people, 1.09 times the US share (auto dealer marketing).
5,739 manufacturing establishments rank fourth among metros and pay $86,684 on average, against $73,202 nationally (manufacturing marketing).
The local agency base
Houston has 262 advertising agency establishments with 1,896 employees, and 928 marketing consulting establishments with 3,080. Each holds under half the US share of jobs, at 0.46 and 0.48 times. Average pay at the agencies is $85,677, against $106,841 nationally. In marketing consulting it is $62,461, against $83,009.
Do you need an SEO company with a Houston office?
Research, writing and publishing can all be done remotely. Loopex lists its own remote team first on its Houston ranking and still tells readers to skip it if they want to meet at an office. Mojo Dojo says it works with Houston clients “entirely remotely”. An office earns its cost when you want meetings in person or a crew at your site.
The local knowledge a search page needs comes from your own people. They know which parts of the metro you serve and what customers ask on the phone. Your CRO collects those on video calls before the first page is written.
Should a Houston firm build a page for each suburb?
Build one only for an area you serve and only with something true about it. Google’s spam policies list “pages targeted at specific regions or cities that funnel users to one page” as an example of doorway abuse. A Katy or Sugar Land page earns its place with the jobs you do there and the customers you serve there. A page that swaps one city name for another adds nothing a reader can use.
What Growigami runs for Houston B2B and service firms
Each week, AI agents draft the pages and messages from what your team has told us, and they publish or queue them on the schedule your CRO set. Your CRO, who designs and proves each process, builds it with your team first and checks it against the results in your CRM. Your team answers our questions on short video calls and handles the leads that come in.

Search: 200 pages a month
The Search process publishes 200 pages a month at the base size, 500 at the larger size. Each page answers a question your buyers ask and is built to rank on Google and to be cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity. Each month we put those questions to the assistants and show you which answers name your firm. Our page on AI search optimization covers that check in detail.
Google Maps and Business Profile work
Maps sits with the Paid process, priced on its own at $1,999 a month. It runs your Google Local Services Ads and your Business Profile work, along with Google and Meta campaigns on up to $25,000 a month in ad spend. AI agents draft the ads, and each campaign gets a landing page, with up to two new pages a month. Ad spend is paid at cost.
Outbound for firms that sell to energy and industry
A firm that sells to operators, engineering firms or plants can work from a short list of named accounts. The Outbound process researches 500 target accounts a month and writes a message for each contact. Your seller reviews and sends, and replies reach that person the same day.
The Offshore Technology Conference, which its organizers pitch to operators and contractors, runs May 3 to 5, 2027 at Reliant Park, with URTeC co-located that year. Our Events process covers booth materials, invites to your target accounts and a follow-up for every badge scan. On-site support is $2,499 an event, plus travel.
The CRO review is optional
Your CRO builds each process either way. A standing review of the whole system with that CRO is extra: $1,499 a month for a monthly review or $2,999 for a weekly one. Without it, your team steers and we keep each process running.
When a Houston agency with an office fits better
A local firm is the better buy in three cases:
A single shop that mainly needs Maps and a handful of pages. Thrive’s Houston packages start at $500 a month and Actual SEO Media’s Essentials plan is $597, both under $1,999.
You want to sit across the table. Actual SEO Media lists three offices inside Houston, at Williams Tower in Uptown, in the Energy Corridor and in West Houston. EWR Digital says it is Houston-headquartered.
You need photos or video shot at your plant, clinic or jobsite. Growigami records people over a short call or builds video from your screens. A local crew can come to you.
Growigami fits a Houston firm that wants 200 pages a month at a posted price. Outbound or ads can be added from the same team once the first process earns it.
Talk to sales. Give us read access to your CRM, and within a week we show you the first process we would build and what it would produce.
Questions
Questions to ask any SEO company in Houston
What should a Houston firm expect to pay for SEO each month?
Between $500 and $3,000 a month to start, going by the plans posted on the first results page we read. Actual SEO Media's top tier starts at $6,500, and EWR Digital puts most Houston campaigns at $2,500 to $10,000 a month. Growigami's Search process is $1,999 a month for 200 pages.
What does an SEO company do?
It finds what your buyers search for, then writes and fixes the pages that answer them so the site ranks on Google and gets cited in AI answers. Thrive, Actual SEO Media and EWR Digital also list link building and Google Business Profile work. Growigami's Search process publishes 200 pages a month from what your team already knows.
How long does SEO take for a Houston business?
Months, by the estimates on the ranking pages themselves. EWR Digital says most clients see measurable gains within 90 days and stronger results at 6 to 12 months. Loopex's Houston guide expects 3 to 5 months for map gains. The part we control is the start: the process is usually running in about three weeks, and pages publish every month after that.
Do you guarantee rankings in Houston?
Growigami does not promise rankings, calls or leads. Each process has a scope you can check: the Search process publishes 200 pages a month and reports which AI answers name you. If the numbers do not justify the price, you can leave with 30 days' notice after the first three months.
Can a Houston business show up in ChatGPT answers?
It can, and the way to know is to ask the assistants. Each month we put your buyers' questions to ChatGPT and Perplexity and show you which answers name you and which name a competitor. Our Search process writes pages built to be cited by them. We report what the answers say; we cannot make an assistant name you.
Will 200 pages a month look like spam to Google?
It depends on what the pages say. Google's spam policies define scaled content abuse as many pages generated 'for the primary purpose of manipulating search rankings' and not helping users. Each of our pages starts from a question your buyers ask and an answer your team gave, and you can read any page before it goes live.
How much of my team's time does it take?
Your team's time goes into the setup and then short calls. Your CRO builds the first process with your team over video, usually in about three weeks. After that your people answer questions on calls, and the pages are written from those answers.
How long is the contract?
The minimum is three months, then 30 days' notice. Thrive, Coalition Technologies and Loopex say month-to-month on their Houston pages. EWR Digital asks for a 6-month agreement on its Growth package, and three of the seven state no term. Ask any firm for its term in writing before you sign.
